WordPress released a security update 4.5.3, on June eighteen two thousand sixteen. This is an update for all previous versions of WordPress. This update includes seven major security fixes and seventeen bug fixes.
Versions of WordPress up to and including 4.5.2 are susceptible to several security vulnerabilities. The following security flaws are rectified with this WordPress update:

* XSS Problems
* Revision History
* Denial of Service
* Category Removal
* Password Change
* Edge Cases
All seven security problems were disclosed by independent sources. Also, WordPress version 4.5.3 rectifies seventeen bugs. These bugs were found in previous versions 4.5, 4.5.1, and 4.5.2.
You can update your version of WordPress to 4.5.3 by clicking on your “Dashboard” if not already there. Then select “Updates”. Finally click on “Update Now”.

Versions of WordPress up to and including 4.5.1 are susceptible to a third party Plupload security vulnerability. This third party library affects file uploads in WordPress. Another third party libary MediaElements.js affects WordPress’s media player.
This affects WordPress versions 4.2 through 4.5.1. Both these issues were reported by a thirdy party website Cure53.de. Finally, there is a security flaw in ImageMagick that could allow users to perform remote code execution on your server.

Sony Corporation of America is recalling around one thousand seven hundred laptop battery packs because of a potential burn and fire hazard. Earlier this year in March of two thousand sixteen, Sony made an announcement that some battery packs manufactured by Panasonic had an overheating defect. This VGP-BPS26 Panasonic battery is now being officially recalled.
Sony is providing a free replacement. This battery pack was disseminated in Sony Vaio E series laptops. Also, they were disseminated via a repair process.
These computers were sold back in February of two thousand sixteen. If you have this albatross of a battery, Sony recommends removing it from your laptop and powering via an AC adapter only. Model numbers sold with an affected battery pack:
