Samsung – Denies Claim That Their Phones Are Easily Hacked

Samsung Incorporated has denied claims that their is a huge security vulnerability with their S Suggest application. Older Samsung smart devices have this software application installed. Samsung discontinued use of this application in two thousand fourteen.

However, there are still plenty of these smart phones still in use today. Samsung allowed the domain expire, thus potentially allowing hackers to circumvent these devices. Obviously, this is more convoluted and complex than just a domain name expiring. was used to control these devices that had an Ssuggest application installed on them. A security researcher allegedly took over this domain. Joao Gouveia, chief technology officer at Anubis Labs, claimed the domain.

Samsung denies that anyone could potentially circumvent security on these older devices by taking over the domain.

Joa claimed he saw six hundred twenty million connections from around 2.1 million devices in first twenty four hours.

Logitech has released their new powerplay charging system for wireless mice. What makes this product unique is that this wireless mice charging system is actually a mouse pad. The Logitech G903 and G703 mice include an optical sensor.

Both right and left mouse keys are programmable. This mouse pad and mouse charging system is designed to charge either mice while in use. Most other charging mice systems require those mice to remain idle.

An energy field is created above the mouse pad to keep charging either the Logitech G903 or G703 mice. The Logitech powerplay wireless mouse charging system retails for $99.99 and will become available in August of two thousand seventeen. I recently logged into an email account for another we domain, besides this one. I received an email from Microsoft Skype claiming that they detected me using Skype on a non computer device. I only use Skype on desktop, laptop, and androids.

Microsoft is retiring the following Skype versions.

* Windows Phone 8
* Windows Phone 8.1
* Windows 10 Mobile
* Windows RT
* TV

These versions of Skype will be retired permanently as of July first two thousand seventeen. You will no longer be able to sign into your Skype account from afore mentioned versions of Skype. What is strange I have never used Skype on any devices that would use these Skype versions.

Nintendo Switch – Online Coming in 2018

Nintendo of America, Incorporated, has delayed their Nintendo Switch online subscription. Originally this gaming subscription was scheduled for release later this year. However, Nintendo is delaying this until sometime in two thousand eighteen.

This will be a paid for multiplayer gaming service. Also, a smart phone application that allows you to control your Nintendo Switch will be included. This service will be currently free until a paid for version is rolled out sometime in two thousand eighteen.

This is an exclusive gaming service for the Nintendo Switch game console. Nintedo claims that most games will require a paid subscription. A free limited version of the Nintendo Switch smart phone application is scheduled for release this summer.

Judy – Android Malware Affects up to 37 Million Users

Check Point researchers are credited with finding another android malware. This one is called Judy and can potentially affect up to thirty seven million users. This malware was propagating via the Google Play store.

This malware is a one click install application found in forty one applications. This malware generates revenue for perpetrators by submitting fraudulent advertisement clicks. These applications reached 4.5 million to 18.5 million downloads.

Some of these malware applications were stored on the Google Play store for years. However, all applications were recently updated. Malware from these forty one applications were found in other applications from a different developer.

Check Point researchers surmise that possibly up to 36.5 million downloads of this malware occurred. This malware has a command and control center server. Individuals at Google removed these applications soon after Check Point contacted them.
