Microsoft Corporation released cumulative update KB4041681 on October ten two thousand seventeen for Windows 7 operating system. This update includes seven improvements to Windows 7. This update does not include any new features.

* internet explorer forms submission
* internet explorer url encoding
* internet explorer element focus
* internet explorer rendering graphics
* usbhub.sys system crashes
* security updates

After installing Knowledge Base 4041681, you may see an issue with mshtml.dll. Microsoft is aware of this problem and is working on creating a fix. If you have been keeping up to date with Microsoft Windows 7 security updates, then this will become only update available for install.

However, if you have gotten behind or skipped some updates, those updates will also be installed. You can obtain this update via Microsoft Windows update or Microsoft Update Catalog website. This update applies to Windows 7 service pack 1 and Windows server 2008 R2 operating systems.

You need to reboot your computer for this update to take effect.
