WordPress released a security update 4.5.3, on June eighteen two thousand sixteen. This is an update for all previous versions of WordPress. This update includes seven major security fixes and seventeen bug fixes.
Versions of WordPress up to and including 4.5.2 are susceptible to several security vulnerabilities. The following security flaws are rectified with this WordPress update:
* Redirect Bypass
* XSS Problems
* Revision History
* Denial of Service
* Category Removal
* Password Change
* Edge Cases
All seven security problems were disclosed by independent sources. Also, WordPress version 4.5.3 rectifies seventeen bugs. These bugs were found in previous versions 4.5, 4.5.1, and 4.5.2.
You can update your version of WordPress to 4.5.3 by clicking on your "Dashboard" if not already there. Then select "Updates". Finally click on "Update Now".
