Handstands Basic Mouse Pad

I was perusing some items in a Target store one day, when I thought I would see if they carried in their inventory a mouse pad. I found in their mice and keyboards section a simple mouse pad. You see I am a real world computer technician, that earns a living assisting end users with computer and technology related problems.

I am not one of those condescending Youtube technology shills, that talk more about politics, then helping people learn and or fix their information technology problems. I found a Handstands basic mouse pad for $2.99. This mouse pad is not very thick.

If you are looking for a boom a rang that also can be used as a mouse pad, this one probably is not the right choice. Anyways, this mouse pad was all I needed. I work on a third party website where I need to have more precise mouse movements.

I have not purchased a mouse pad in decades. No joke. However, I have to be able to point and click my mouse more precisely.

Optical mice are usually pretty accurate on flat surfaces. For example granite, wood, kitchen counters, tables, etc. I was pleasantly surprised to find this Handstands Basic Mouse Pad at Target of all stores.

Also, the price at $2.99 is appropriate, at least according to my wallet standards. This mouse pad is a petroleum based product. It is large enough for a Logitech gaming mouse I have.

I could not find this mouse pad on Handstands’ official website. Also, I could not find it listed on Target.com, even though I was looking in this same Target for a different product months later, and saw the same mouse pad in their inventory. Interestingly enough I found this Handstands basic mouse pad at Microcenter.com, for the exact same fucking price, $2.99.

If you just need a basic mouse pad because you are traveling, staying in a hotel, or in a recreational vehicle, then this Handstands basic mouse pad might work for you. This mouse pad is not very thick. Way less then an inch thick.

However, I have used it for months now, and it gets my job done, pun intended.

Handstands Basic Mouse Pad – Video Transcript

00:08
so very quickly this is a quick video
00:11
about a mouse pad that i purchased at
00:13
target i don’t know why the i came
00:16
back to youtube
00:17
and i’m making videos again i guess i’m
00:19
still mentally ill
00:20
as a computer technician that gets
00:23
yelled at and threatened at and those
00:24
are then that’s true
00:26
don’t ever go into this kind of
00:29
you know career i wouldn’t call this a
00:32
career
00:33
if you’re a computer if you’re thinking
00:34
about entering the information
00:36
technology sector
00:37
do not become help desk do not become
00:39
death side do not become
00:42
like you know trouble troubleshooting
00:45
or any any kind of support where you
00:47
deal with customers because you get all
00:50
kinds of
00:51
abuse anyways so quickly this is the
00:54
mouse pad
00:54
so i just needed a basic mousepad
00:56
because my job duties require it i stay
00:59
in hotels and like right now
01:03
the mouse is just fine on this cap this
01:06
cabinet
01:07
with drawers any wood surface or
01:10
any kind of a counter in a kitchen
01:12
that’s made out of
01:14
whatever it’s made out of whether it’s
01:18
you know wood or synthetic or even
01:22
maybe concrete type or whatever
01:26
sometimes mice just don’t work as well
01:29
just
01:29
without a mouse pad now if i
01:32
most of my time that i use a computer i
01:35
don’t need a mouse pad but
01:37
not getting into details i have to be
01:39
more precise
01:40
so quickly so here’s the mouse it’s very
01:43
thin i don’t know if you can tell
01:45
from here i’ll move it up closer to the
01:47
camera but i
01:48
i only paid 9.99 excuse me 9.99 299
01:53
and i’ll show you the website well i’ll
01:56
show you
01:56
a web page
02:00
of the mouse for a micro center so
02:03
quickly let me show you on camera how
02:04
thin it is
02:21
okay so hopefully you can tell it’s not
02:24
an inch it’s not
02:25
it’s nothing close to two inches or
02:28
even an inch it’s probably
02:33
wow 1 16 of an inch 1 8 whatever it’s
02:36
very thin
02:36
but if you just need a basic mouse pad
02:40
or what’s known as what i do with the
02:48
they call it a mouse mat so here’s the
02:50
original cardboard that came with
02:52
i like to keep the original packaging i
02:54
don’t make unboxing videos i just make
02:56
videos after the fact and i tell you
02:58
my experiences about these products that
03:00
i buy
03:01
so this is a universal works with all
03:03
mice mouse matte trademark
03:05
basic it says it’s a basic mouse hand
03:09
stands plural is the brand on the back
03:12
it says mouse mat
03:13
basic simple basica
03:17
basic mouse mat which is a trademark
03:21
i don’t know why the they
03:22
trademarked that i don’t know works with
03:24
all mice non-slip rubber base so it is
03:28
made out of petroleum product rubber so
03:31
that’s good
03:33
so if you’re at a hotel or a motel or a
03:36
recreational vehicle or
03:37
you’re somewhere where you need a mount
03:39
at starbucks
03:41
coffee shop mall wherever
03:44
you know what i’m saying getting beat
03:46
down by the gestapo i mean or you’re
03:48
at the united states capitol building
03:50
and you’re trying to take over the
03:51
capitol building and start a revolution
03:53
and you need a mouse pad you know what
03:55
i’m saying
03:57
then this is what you might want it’s
04:00
if you’re looking for a two inch or
04:01
three inch or a very thick mouse pad
04:04
no but but it is quite large actually i
04:06
don’t know if you can tell
04:11
it’s larger than most mice or mouse pads
04:14
that
04:14
you you know you can get at a store most
04:17
of them are smaller
04:18
but anyways at least when i go
04:22
look at computer store anywhere i’m at i
04:25
look at
04:25
computer equipment i’m like yeah it’s
04:28
like you ever notice that they sell you
04:30
the small
04:31
wireless mice even though they they have
04:34
big ones but
04:35
they’re hard to find or i don’t know
04:36
maybe i don’t whatever maybe it’s just
04:37
me
04:38
okay anything else let me show you the
04:41
if you’re interested
04:42
in buying it what you can look for
05:02
okay so this is what oh i think it did
05:06
have some
05:06
cheap plastic well some thin plastic
05:08
wrapping around
05:10
and then there’s a little sticky on the
05:12
cardboard and it was sticking on that so
05:15
there it is so yeah so that way all
05:17
right and so here’s my mouse all right
05:19
so let’s quickly
05:23
rapido quickly is not where i bought it
05:26
i bought it at target
05:27
i was just i i needed a mouse is what i
05:30
was looking for a mouse
05:32
at a target and a local target and i was
05:35
like you know what i could use a mouse
05:36
pad and they actually had
05:38
one it was the only one it was like in
05:39
the keyboard section
05:41
there were no mice around over there or
05:44
i don’t know it was like the keyboards
05:45
and
05:46
my section but
05:49
i think the mice and the keyboards
05:51
weren’t even in the same aisle
05:52
whatever just go to target go you could
05:54
go to the electronics section where the
05:56
televisions
05:57
and the computers and the playstations
06:00
and that crap
06:01
wherever you know their electronic
06:03
section and maybe look for the mouse or
06:05
the
06:06
keyboard aisle and i found it
06:09
in like a bottom shelf by it just
06:11
sitting there
06:12
i was like holy that’s exactly what
06:15
i need i just needed a
06:17
basic mouse pad and it was only 2.99
06:20
now this is it micro center they charge
06:22
the same and then
06:23
quickly quickly so it’s just a hand
06:26
stand brand basic mouse pad 2.99
06:29
and check out their this is exactly what
06:34
why i needed it this mouse pad is
06:36
constructed of long-lasting polyester
06:37
i’ve had it for what
06:39
i don’t know three four months now and
06:42
non-skid
06:43
natural rubber so it is petroleum-based
06:46
it improves mouse tracking and
06:47
responsiveness
06:48
that’s exactly what i needed i don’t
06:51
want to go into details but on this
06:52
website where i earn supplemental income
06:55
helping people with their computer and
06:56
technology problems and then i get
06:58
yelled at
06:59
and threatened with lawsuits and that’s
07:01
not a joke that that’s all true
07:03
i get yelled at i get cussed at like the
07:05
other day somebody threw that two people
07:08
i think on the same day they threatened
07:11
to
07:11
sue me because i didn’t respond fast
07:13
enough and i’m not making that up
07:15
americans are just they drive me insane
07:18
americans give me the most trouble
07:20
anyways
07:23
in order for me to perform my job duties
07:25
i have to be quick
07:27
it’s not that as easy as you think it’s
07:29
not like i there’s a list of
07:31
computer problems that i i can just
07:34
browse through and i can just click on
07:36
it
07:36
on one and take my time no they all
07:39
flood in at the same time
07:41
so if there’s like a thousand new
07:44
requests for help
07:45
they all come in in the same queue at
07:47
the same time
07:49
and there’s enough coverage there’s
07:50
enough technicians that you
07:52
literally have to click quick let me
07:54
i’ll give you that much
07:56
that that’ll be a hint you can’t just
07:58
take your own time all right so anyways
08:01
tracking and responsiveness so the mouse
08:02
pad is good enough for that
08:04
okay so that’s it that’s my video and
08:07
this is over time now you primarily left
08:10
but so if you need a just a basic mouse
08:13
pad
08:14
now they i did not buy it at micro
08:16
center but it looks they
08:17
they sell at microsoft i don’t know if
08:18
they sell that same brand at walmart but
08:20
you could
08:21
you might want to check walmart when i
08:23
tried to look it up i wanted to show you
08:25
the advertisement
08:26
on target.com but they don’t even show
08:28
it listed anymore i don’t even know if
08:29
they sell them anymore
08:30
but they did they did sell another
08:34
handstand brand mouse pad
08:37
i think it was thicker it was smaller
08:38
and it had a wrist guard it had a wrist
08:41
pad
08:42
so and it was what 4.99 now this one is
08:45
is
08:45
is good quality i’ve had it for months
08:47
and months now
08:48
and it doesn’t it it gets a little bit
08:51
dingy i need to clean it
08:53
with water once in a while but i don’t
08:55
think it’s gonna like
08:56
you know shred apart it’s good i think
08:58
it’s gonna last for a long time
09:00
you know what i’m saying but it’s only
09:01
three dollars but so quickly this is
09:06
overtime
09:09
i i may or i may not ever make
09:12
technology well
09:13
troubleshooting tips videos because i do
09:16
this for a living every day and quite
09:17
frankly i get sick and tired of
09:19
dealing with computer problems
09:21
and i get sick and tired of people in
09:23
their attitudes
09:24
they’re angry americans
09:28
are fueled by their emotions and they
09:31
refuse to
09:32
use logic let me say that again
09:35
americans are
09:37
fueled by emotion
09:40
and they refuse to use logic and you
09:43
might be able to argue that they
09:46
are fueled by emotion because they
09:48
refuse to use logic
09:50
instead of becoming emotional and
09:53
becoming a metrosexual little
09:56
relax and use logic
10:00
you try to use your brain
10:03
okay so in the future i plan on
10:05
recording a video about an onn hdmi
10:08
cable
10:12
that i got for what seven dollars i
10:14
bought
10:15
a western digital easy store usb 3.0
10:18
flash drive 32 gigabyte 32 gigabyte for
10:21
six dollars
10:22
a western digital and it works good oh
10:25
those on and usb flash drives are not
10:27
very good i don’t recommend them anymore
10:29
but whatever that was
10:31
i might talk about that in that future
10:33
video another future video
10:34
i bought in in a max usb
10:38
wi-fi that i gained a lot
10:41
stronger signal and i’m able to see i
10:43
would say
10:44
anywhere from five to ten more
10:47
five to ten times more wi-fi signals
10:51
so instead of receiving five i might be
10:53
able to get 20 30 or 40
10:55
and especially if i you know put my
10:57
computer up by a window
10:59
all right so that’s the future that’s
11:00
just the packaging that i’m just
11:02
throwing on the floor
11:03
and then another future video i bought a
11:06
logitech mouse it’s a gaming mouse but i
11:08
needed a better one
11:10
and online these are advertised for
11:13
about five times as much i that i pay
11:15
for i bought
11:16
this at a target on clearance and i’ll
11:19
tell you about that
11:20
i may or may not make you know
11:23
troubleshooting videos helping you with
11:25
your computer problems giving you tips
11:27
and
11:27
tricks and instructions i don’t know i
11:30
may or may not maybe once a week maybe
11:31
once a month maybe never
11:33
adios oh you can click on the link in
11:36
the description box below that will take
11:38
you to my blog post on my website
11:39
ainitcompares.com where i will write a
11:42
blog post
11:42
and i will include a link to the micro
11:45
center
11:46
webpage for this mouse pad in case
11:48
you’re interested
11:49
and it may help you try to find it if
11:52
you know if you’re looking just for a
11:53
cheap basic mouse pad
11:55
adios

Postfix Mail Stuck in Queue – Troubleshooting

Another information technology problem occurring in the world order. This time I started receiving, no pun intended, a problem with my email server not receiving new email messages. Postfix mail stuck in queue is basically the problemo in a nut shell.

Administering your very own email server, can at times become a pain in the ass. However, the benefits versus using someone elses email service are productive enough for me to justify. I noticed all of the sudden I was not receiving any email.

I had not installed any updates to my email server in weeks. I logged into my control panel and I noticed some emails in the “deferred” que. Without going into too much technical jargon, the deferred que is for email messages that for whatever reason, are not successfully delivered to their destination.

Depending on your control panel, you may see these menu options listed below. Obviously, you will want to browse to your email section of your control panel.

  • Refresh
  • Process Queue
  • Remove Everything
  • Maildrop
  • Incoming
  • Hold
  • Active
  • Deferred

You can click on “Process Queue” which will send or receive any email messages on your server. I actually clicked on this button and I started receiving email messages again. However, the same problem occurred the next time I checked my email with my client software.

You can view email messages that are marked as “Defferred” by going into the deferred queue. Also, you can remove individual email messages or click on “Remove Everything”. Caveat emptor, you probably want to view your messages first before choosing this option.

Unless, you are being attacked with a huge amount of spam messages. By viewing each individual message you can obtain Internet Protocol address, from sender email address, etc. This can allow you to make sure that you do not accidentally remove any important email messages.

Actually, you can view the sender email address or organization, just by viewing the different queues, incoming, active, hold, deferred, etc. You can delete individual messages and groups of messages with “Remove selected” or something similar option. My Postfix mail stuck in queue problem did not disappear just by clicking on “Process Queue”.

That is a temporary work around. I do not want to have to fucking manually process the email queue each and everytime I want to check for email. However, I don’t like to waste much time checking email to begin with.

You can check the contents of your /etc/resolv.conf file. You can look for a properly formulated line(s) in this file. Here is an example entry you might see in your /etc/resolv.conf file on your email server:

127.0.0.1 localhost localhost.localdomain
::1 localhost localhost.localdomain

xxx.xxx.xx.xxx myserver.governmentsucks.com 127.0.0.1 autoreply.myserver.governmentsucks.com

This last line in the example, should actually be all on one line. WordPress may have butchered it with their crappy Gutenberg editor. Anyways, make sure that there are spaces between the declarations.

For example this would be wrong:

xxx.xxx.xx.xxx myserver.governmentsucks.com127.0.0.1 autoreply.myserver.governmentsucks.com

There should be a space in between myserver.governmentsucks.com and 127.0.0.1. Those are separate declarations, that needs a space in between for the /etc/resolv.conf file to become processed correctly. Also, you can enter in the following command in a command line on your Linux email server.

ifconfig

You should see your email server network connection information, including the Internet Protocol address. Also, you should see the loopback device. Another place you can check for information that might help you troubleshoot your Postfix mail stuck in queue problem, is your email server log files.

Depending on what type of email server you have, you can look in the /var/log folder. You can view your “maillog” or something similar file. You want to look for any error messages or any details to help you fix your Postfix mail stuck in queue problem.

You can use these commands to view your maillog file on Linux.

tail -f maillog

vi maillog

Remember, there are alot of assholes and bitches on the Internet trying to send you spam, trying to circumvent your email server, trying to use it to send spam, etc. There maybe quite a few false positives, warnings, hacking attempts documented in this maillog file or similar log file. You want to look for any messages related to the Postfix mail queue not processing automatically.

These instructions were written for Postfix email server on Linux. However, you could possibly use these troubleshooting tips on other email servers with different Linux operating system distributions.

0:01:40.560,0:01:47.840
from wordpress to fucking static html

0:01:44.560,0:01:50.240
because i’ve had it anyways

0:01:47.840,0:01:51.600
all right so some quick trouble shooting

0:01:50.240,0:01:55.840
tips

0:01:51.600,0:01:55.840
we can go over my blog post now

0:01:56.159,0:02:03.759
quickly now this deals with post

0:02:00.079,0:02:05.759
fix mail server

0:02:03.759,0:02:07.360
you’re gonna have to know command line

0:02:05.759,0:02:09.599
you’re gonna have to know how to

0:02:07.360,0:02:12.000
access your control panel you know what

0:02:09.599,0:02:12.000
i’m saying

0:02:13.680,0:02:17.599
depending on your control panel i don’t

0:02:16.000,0:02:19.920
know what control panel you’re using

0:02:17.599,0:02:20.879
quite fucking frankly i don’t care you

0:02:19.920,0:02:23.040
know what i’m saying

0:02:20.879,0:02:24.319
a control panel whatever you use to

0:02:23.040,0:02:27.120
access your

0:02:24.319,0:02:29.360
your virtual private server or your

0:02:27.120,0:02:32.080
dedicated server or whatever

0:02:29.360,0:02:33.120
you may see these options with post fix

0:02:32.080,0:02:36.879
refresh

0:02:33.120,0:02:40.080
process cue remove everything mail drop

0:02:36.879,0:02:42.640
incoming hold active and defer

0:02:40.080,0:02:44.239
i’m not gonna go into detail on every

0:02:42.640,0:02:46.640
single option because i

0:02:44.239,0:02:49.280
that would be a very long video what you

0:02:46.640,0:02:51.280
can do to quickly troubleshoot is try to

0:02:49.280,0:02:54.720
click on the process queue

0:02:51.280,0:02:57.519
that is a manual way that tells your

0:02:54.720,0:02:59.040
postfix email server to start fucking

0:02:57.519,0:03:01.360
getting off its lazy ass

0:02:59.040,0:03:02.080
quit being gutenberg quit being

0:03:01.360,0:03:04.560
wordpress

0:03:02.080,0:03:05.920
quit being atrocious quit being terrible

0:03:04.560,0:03:09.840
like these americans

0:03:05.920,0:03:12.800
or there may be some overtime i got

0:03:09.840,0:03:14.159
cussed at again by two customers on this

0:03:12.800,0:03:16.000
third party website where i earn

0:03:14.159,0:03:17.840
supplemental income

0:03:16.000,0:03:19.120
again within the last week i’ve been

0:03:17.840,0:03:21.440
cussed at twice

0:03:19.120,0:03:21.440
all right

0:03:22.239,0:03:26.159
never ever enter information technology

0:03:25.040,0:03:28.959
as a help desk

0:03:26.159,0:03:29.760
or a desk site or don’t help people

0:03:28.959,0:03:31.920
learn how to

0:03:29.760,0:03:33.200
program learn how to code learn how to

0:03:31.920,0:03:34.959
become

0:03:33.200,0:03:38.400
self-employed and make a lot of money

0:03:34.959,0:03:38.400
programming you know i’m saying right

0:03:39.920,0:03:43.680
click on process q that was a temporary

0:03:43.200,0:03:46.080
fix

0:03:43.680,0:03:46.879
as soon as i clicked on the process q

0:03:46.080,0:03:49.840
button

0:03:46.879,0:03:51.280
which you can also this is on linux 2 so

0:03:49.840,0:03:56.080
you should know that that i

0:03:51.280,0:03:59.599
that my blog post has command line

0:03:56.080,0:04:00.720
that is for linux you can process the

0:03:59.599,0:04:03.040
queue manually

0:04:00.720,0:04:05.200
on the command line but if you log into

0:04:03.040,0:04:06.959
your control panel

0:04:05.200,0:04:09.040
it should also give you the option you

0:04:06.959,0:04:10.640
know i’m saying i immediately started

0:04:09.040,0:04:11.439
receiving email when i clicked on

0:04:10.640,0:04:15.280
process q

0:04:11.439,0:04:18.000
however the problem did not fix itself

0:04:15.280,0:04:20.000
after that because when i checked my

0:04:18.000,0:04:22.079
email again today

0:04:20.000,0:04:23.919
or or the next time i tried to check my

0:04:22.079,0:04:27.040
email no bueno

0:04:23.919,0:04:29.360
nothing i hate email

0:04:27.040,0:04:30.560
i don’t like wasting time reading email

0:04:29.360,0:04:33.040
i don’t like wasting time

0:04:30.560,0:04:34.320
sending email i don’t like wasting time

0:04:33.040,0:04:37.280
troubleshooting email

0:04:34.320,0:04:39.759
you know i’m saying that but however

0:04:37.280,0:04:41.840
that still is not to me a proper fix

0:04:39.759,0:04:42.639
it’s a temporary fix it’s a workaround

0:04:41.840,0:04:45.360
whatever

0:04:42.639,0:04:46.320
language you want to use whatever

0:04:45.360,0:04:48.639
colloquial

0:04:46.320,0:04:50.320
you know linguistics you want to

0:04:48.639,0:04:52.479
brainwash your

0:04:50.320,0:04:54.320
sheeple speaking of brainwashing are the

0:04:52.479,0:04:56.080
youtube technology shells

0:04:54.320,0:04:58.160
ever going to help people or are they

0:04:56.080,0:04:59.759
gonna get political oh my god new york

0:04:58.160,0:05:02.800
city is failing because the

0:04:59.759,0:05:05.199
governor is a democrat well no

0:05:02.800,0:05:06.880
no the left and the right are the same

0:05:05.199,0:05:09.919
politics is rigged they’re all

0:05:06.880,0:05:12.080
criminal corrupt crooks but the youtube

0:05:09.919,0:05:14.080
technology shills instead of helping

0:05:12.080,0:05:16.639
people with their information technology

0:05:14.080,0:05:18.560
problems

0:05:16.639,0:05:21.840
they make videos turning it into

0:05:18.560,0:05:25.120
politics all right

0:05:21.840,0:05:26.560
what else can you check if you really

0:05:25.120,0:05:28.639
need access to your email

0:05:26.560,0:05:30.639
go ahead and try to get the server to

0:05:28.639,0:05:33.039
process the email

0:05:30.639,0:05:34.639
now what you can also do is you could

0:05:33.039,0:05:39.199
refresh

0:05:34.639,0:05:42.560
and and just observe your email server

0:05:39.199,0:05:45.680
are there a lot of emails that are

0:05:42.560,0:05:46.560
in the incoming queue are they in the

0:05:45.680,0:05:48.800
hold queue

0:05:46.560,0:05:53.759
are they in the active queue are they in

0:05:48.800,0:05:55.840
the deferred queue

0:05:53.759,0:05:58.800
you can also remove everything now

0:05:55.840,0:05:58.800
caveat emptor

0:06:00.160,0:06:04.160
you will probably want to read the

0:06:02.639,0:06:06.960
emails first

0:06:04.160,0:06:09.120
you can go into the incoming the whole

0:06:06.960,0:06:11.759
the active and the deferred queues

0:06:09.120,0:06:13.840
and you can re look at and view each

0:06:11.759,0:06:14.560
individual email that’s on your email

0:06:13.840,0:06:17.039
server

0:06:14.560,0:06:19.039
and and look at it actually now command

0:06:17.039,0:06:20.800
line you can read everything

0:06:19.039,0:06:22.400
depending on the control panel it is a

0:06:20.800,0:06:24.800
little bit limited but you can

0:06:22.400,0:06:25.680
view potentially the internet protocol

0:06:24.800,0:06:29.120
address

0:06:25.680,0:06:32.080
the sender you know from

0:06:29.120,0:06:32.639
and possibly also the email message the

0:06:32.080,0:06:35.280
email

0:06:32.639,0:06:36.560
address that the message is being

0:06:35.280,0:06:39.919
processed

0:06:36.560,0:06:42.240
you know i’m saying so caveat emptor

0:06:39.919,0:06:43.199
go in the queues and look to see if

0:06:42.240,0:06:45.840
there are

0:06:43.199,0:06:47.039
emails that you need because once you

0:06:45.840,0:06:50.160
remove them

0:06:47.039,0:06:51.120
from the mail cue from either the

0:06:50.160,0:06:54.400
control panel

0:06:51.120,0:06:55.360
or when you administer post fix via the

0:06:54.400,0:06:58.080
command line

0:06:55.360,0:07:02.160
they’re gone basically gone forever you

0:06:58.080,0:07:04.000
know what i’m saying

0:07:02.160,0:07:05.199
but you may be receiving a lot of spam

0:07:04.000,0:07:06.160
it could be a lot of spam that is

0:07:05.199,0:07:08.160
causing a problem

0:07:06.160,0:07:10.880
it could be the assholes and the bitches

0:07:08.160,0:07:13.759
on the internet that are trying to

0:07:10.880,0:07:15.680
circumvent your email server security or

0:07:13.759,0:07:18.960
they’re trying to use your email

0:07:15.680,0:07:21.440
server so that they can send spam

0:07:18.960,0:07:24.000
there can be many different reasons why

0:07:21.440,0:07:26.800
you’re having this problem

0:07:24.000,0:07:27.280
okay let’s i have to keep an eye on the

0:07:26.800,0:07:28.880
time

0:07:27.280,0:07:31.360
okay seven minutes i have about eight

0:07:28.880,0:07:35.039
minutes

0:07:31.360,0:07:37.520
okay back to the

0:07:35.039,0:07:39.840
blog post all right what else can we go

0:07:37.520,0:07:39.840
into

0:07:41.120,0:07:44.639
okay be careful removing messages be

0:07:43.759,0:07:49.120
careful

0:07:44.639,0:07:52.479
if if you are flooded with a bunch of

0:07:49.120,0:07:55.520
spam then that is

0:07:52.479,0:07:58.639
where you may want to you know now

0:07:55.520,0:08:00.560
when you select on email messages

0:07:58.639,0:08:02.319
that have not been processed yet or that

0:08:00.560,0:08:02.960
they may be processed the the different

0:08:02.319,0:08:05.840
cues

0:08:02.960,0:08:07.280
the incoming hold active deferred you

0:08:05.840,0:08:09.680
can view each message

0:08:07.280,0:08:10.479
single at a time you can also remove

0:08:09.680,0:08:12.720
them

0:08:10.479,0:08:14.800
one at a time by clicking on remove

0:08:12.720,0:08:17.599
selected so you select a message

0:08:14.800,0:08:18.479
click on remove selected depending on

0:08:17.599,0:08:22.000
your

0:08:18.479,0:08:24.560
control panel here i’m sam

0:08:22.000,0:08:26.080
now you can select more than one email

0:08:24.560,0:08:28.720
message at a time like a group

0:08:26.080,0:08:30.160
of them and then click on remove

0:08:28.720,0:08:31.840
selected that will remove all them but

0:08:30.160,0:08:32.320
i’m telling i’m warning you i did not

0:08:31.840,0:08:34.959
give you

0:08:32.320,0:08:36.080
i did not tell you to delete email i

0:08:34.959,0:08:38.880
just told you

0:08:36.080,0:08:40.719
that maybe if you’re getting bombarded

0:08:38.880,0:08:42.719
with spam

0:08:40.719,0:08:44.720
that may be what is causing the problem

0:08:42.719,0:08:48.640
and you may want to remove the

0:08:44.720,0:08:48.640
the messages in the queue all right

0:08:49.519,0:08:53.839
you’re not going to sue me i every day

0:08:52.160,0:08:56.080
well not every day

0:08:53.839,0:08:58.160
every week every month i get yelled at i

0:08:56.080,0:08:59.839
get threatened with lawsuits i get

0:08:58.160,0:09:01.279
i have not received a death threat yet

0:08:59.839,0:09:03.440
on this third party website

0:09:01.279,0:09:05.040
but i want i want to expose this website

0:09:03.440,0:09:08.640
badly because there’s a lot of

0:09:05.040,0:09:09.519
crookedness at on this on this website i

0:09:08.640,0:09:12.240
earn income

0:09:09.519,0:09:13.920
it is disgusting how we technicians

0:09:12.240,0:09:16.320
continue to get abused

0:09:13.920,0:09:17.920
and nothing ever happens you know

0:09:16.320,0:09:20.240
nobody’s held accountable

0:09:17.920,0:09:21.200
now all they have to do is install a

0:09:20.240,0:09:24.000
filter

0:09:21.200,0:09:25.200
a word filter that would filter out

0:09:24.000,0:09:27.040
that’s overtime

0:09:25.200,0:09:28.399
let’s get back to this what else can you

0:09:27.040,0:09:34.080
troubleshoot

0:09:28.399,0:09:34.080
you can view my ad okay let’s see

0:09:35.040,0:09:39.519
you can process a cue that is that could

0:09:37.120,0:09:41.839
be temporary you could try that

0:09:39.519,0:09:43.600
you you could also empty the deferred

0:09:41.839,0:09:45.519
cue but again

0:09:43.600,0:09:47.519
look at the message just to make sure

0:09:45.519,0:09:50.560
that you’re not

0:09:47.519,0:09:52.880
you know removing any messages that are

0:09:50.560,0:09:54.640
legitimate okay because you’re actually

0:09:52.880,0:09:59.279
looking at the email messages

0:09:54.640,0:10:02.560
that are incoming and outgoing all right

0:09:59.279,0:10:05.600
if if processing it

0:10:02.560,0:10:07.680
manually by clicking on process q

0:10:05.600,0:10:08.880
does not fix your problem and it’s only

0:10:07.680,0:10:12.480
temporary then

0:10:08.880,0:10:13.120
move on in my blog post you want to look

0:10:12.480,0:10:16.079
at

0:10:13.120,0:10:17.360
your etsy resolve dot configuration file

0:10:16.079,0:10:19.040
let me give you a warning

0:10:17.360,0:10:20.959
i did not add some of this because i did

0:10:19.040,0:10:21.680
not want to make this blog post too

0:10:20.959,0:10:25.279
technical

0:10:21.680,0:10:25.279
i might have to go back and

0:10:26.240,0:10:32.880
edit it abridge it amend it because i

0:10:29.600,0:10:35.760
want to add some here’s a warning

0:10:32.880,0:10:36.720
whenever you fuck with configuration

0:10:35.760,0:10:40.640
files

0:10:36.720,0:10:42.640
on linux or really any operating system

0:10:40.640,0:10:44.160
you may want to get in the habit of

0:10:42.640,0:10:47.360
making a backup

0:10:44.160,0:10:48.240
on linux is really easy m v for move

0:10:47.360,0:10:51.279
space

0:10:48.240,0:10:53.519
the path the file and then

0:10:51.279,0:10:54.959
give the new path and then give the name

0:10:53.519,0:10:57.440
of the new file

0:10:54.959,0:10:58.000
and then you could add a dot back or a

0:10:57.440,0:11:01.360
dot

0:10:58.000,0:11:02.079
sav my point is you may want to get into

0:11:01.360,0:11:05.040
the habit of

0:11:02.079,0:11:06.800
always backing up any configuration

0:11:05.040,0:11:07.680
files that you fuck with in case you

0:11:06.800,0:11:10.000
fuck it up

0:11:07.680,0:11:11.519
it only takes one line and that email

0:11:10.000,0:11:13.440
server may not

0:11:11.519,0:11:15.440
work correctly the next time that it

0:11:13.440,0:11:17.519
needs to that postfix needs to

0:11:15.440,0:11:19.600
start up again it may not start up

0:11:17.519,0:11:22.240
because you fucked with the config file

0:11:19.600,0:11:23.920
and you fucked up one of the lines all

0:11:22.240,0:11:27.680
it takes is a misspelling

0:11:23.920,0:11:30.240
or i’m not making this up or the wrong

0:11:27.680,0:11:31.040
you know character a dot a comma instead

0:11:30.240,0:11:32.800
of a dot on

0:11:31.040,0:11:34.480
it that’s all it takes is one little

0:11:32.800,0:11:37.120
mistake all right

0:11:34.480,0:11:39.360
but you want to look at the slash etsy

0:11:37.120,0:11:41.519
slash resolve dot configuration file

0:11:39.360,0:11:42.800
i gave you an example of what it should

0:11:41.519,0:11:45.120
what it could look like

0:11:42.800,0:11:47.920
and what it really should look like it

0:11:45.120,0:11:50.480
may not look the same on your server

0:11:47.920,0:11:51.200
now you want to make sure that each

0:11:50.480,0:11:53.920
entry

0:11:51.200,0:11:55.600
has spaces where they are appropriate if

0:11:53.920,0:12:01.839
you notice this example

0:11:55.600,0:12:01.839
it’s the loopback it’s 127.0.0.1 space

0:12:02.040,0:12:06.639
localhost.localhost.localdomain

0:12:04.320,0:12:07.760
if there was a missing space between the

0:12:06.639,0:12:09.920
127

0:12:07.760,0:12:10.880
and the localhost and there was no space

0:12:09.920,0:12:13.760
there

0:12:10.880,0:12:14.480
that would fuck up the because it’s a

0:12:13.760,0:12:18.800
it’s not

0:12:14.480,0:12:22.160
acceptable that would be one line

0:12:18.800,0:12:25.519
that those are two separate entries okay

0:12:22.160,0:12:26.399
the next one colon colon one space

0:12:25.519,0:12:28.880
localhost

0:12:26.399,0:12:30.320
space localhost.localdomain those are

0:12:28.880,0:12:32.959
acceptable

0:12:30.320,0:12:34.079
those are acceptable variables and then

0:12:32.959,0:12:37.040
this one that i

0:12:34.079,0:12:38.320
you know government sucks.com yes it

0:12:37.040,0:12:41.920
does

0:12:38.320,0:12:44.240
and i gave you an example and i and

0:12:41.920,0:12:45.360
your ip address i’m not no i’m not going

0:12:44.240,0:12:47.279
to give you my fucking

0:12:45.360,0:12:50.079
emails or ip address fuck you if you

0:12:47.279,0:12:54.160
think i’m going to you know

0:12:50.079,0:12:55.680
no space myserver.governmentsucks.com or

0:12:54.160,0:12:59.040
whatever your domain is

0:12:55.680,0:13:00.880
it could be government or worship

0:12:59.040,0:13:02.639
government.com as you americans you

0:13:00.880,0:13:03.200
don’t you that’s all you do is worship

0:13:02.639,0:13:04.399
government

0:13:03.200,0:13:06.560
and then you’re like the youtube

0:13:04.399,0:13:07.040
technology shills that politicize

0:13:06.560,0:13:08.639
everything

0:13:07.040,0:13:10.720
you’re not helping people with their

0:13:08.639,0:13:11.519
tech problems you’re talking about

0:13:10.720,0:13:14.000
politics

0:13:11.519,0:13:15.200
and you’re blaming one bureaucrat versus

0:13:14.000,0:13:18.720
a different one

0:13:15.200,0:13:20.880
one has a giraffe logo

0:13:18.720,0:13:22.959
the other one has a tiger logo and you

0:13:20.880,0:13:23.519
know politics is so stupid it’s all

0:13:22.959,0:13:25.040
rigged

0:13:23.519,0:13:28.320
they’re the same the left and the right

0:13:25.040,0:13:28.320
are the same all right

0:13:29.519,0:13:33.600
and then space and then the local ip

0:13:32.480,0:13:37.200
address which is

0:13:33.600,0:13:40.639
the local loopback address 127.0.0.1

0:13:37.200,0:13:42.160
now wordpress they fucked up this should

0:13:40.639,0:13:44.399
all be on one line

0:13:42.160,0:13:45.680
they fucked it up and formatted it as

0:13:44.399,0:13:49.839
two lines no

0:13:45.680,0:13:50.880
in the actual etsyresolve.com file c1f

0:13:49.839,0:13:53.600
for configuration

0:13:50.880,0:13:56.160
that’s actually on one line and there is

0:13:53.600,0:13:59.040
a space after the 127 address

0:13:56.160,0:13:59.600
and then you have auto reply dot my

0:13:59.040,0:14:02.160
server

0:13:59.600,0:14:04.639
dot government sucks.com or whatever

0:14:02.160,0:14:06.880
your domain is or however your

0:14:04.639,0:14:08.000
etsy resolve dot configuration file my

0:14:06.880,0:14:12.480
point is

0:14:08.000,0:14:13.839
look for obvious errors

0:14:12.480,0:14:15.519
you know what i’m saying that could be

0:14:13.839,0:14:18.760
causing your problem

0:14:15.519,0:14:20.399
the mail server is looking in the etsy

0:14:18.760,0:14:22.320
resolve.configuration file

0:14:20.399,0:14:24.240
for an address well where do i send this

0:14:22.320,0:14:26.160
email where do you want me to send it

0:14:24.240,0:14:28.000
you got to tell me i’m not i’m

0:14:26.160,0:14:29.600
you know come on i don’t know what i’m

0:14:28.000,0:14:32.639
doing i’m dumb

0:14:29.600,0:14:35.120
no well you know what i’m saying

0:14:32.639,0:14:36.000
are you you know are you sending it to a

0:14:35.120,0:14:38.399
local

0:14:36.000,0:14:40.800
address so that your local mail server

0:14:38.399,0:14:41.680
processes whether it’s ascend or receive

0:14:40.800,0:14:45.120
or are you

0:14:41.680,0:14:48.560
are you in using external email server

0:14:45.120,0:14:50.320
to process your mail so the another file

0:14:48.560,0:14:53.680
that you can check

0:14:50.320,0:14:56.000
is actually well another command

0:14:53.680,0:14:57.600
it’s not technically a file but well

0:14:56.000,0:14:58.160
actually there is a file but i’m not

0:14:57.600,0:15:00.560
going to

0:14:58.160,0:15:02.880
go there because it getting technical

0:15:00.560,0:15:06.320
and i’m under time constraints

0:15:02.880,0:15:08.639
type in if config this is on linux

0:15:06.320,0:15:09.600
now when you enter in if config and i

0:15:08.639,0:15:12.920
gave you an example

0:15:09.600,0:15:14.880
of a wrong entry in your

0:15:12.920,0:15:19.120
etsyresolve.conf file

0:15:14.880,0:15:19.120
it’s it’s missing a space okay

0:15:19.279,0:15:25.120
the i f config it tells you about your

0:15:23.199,0:15:27.519
local network connection

0:15:25.120,0:15:28.639
or your your network connections on the

0:15:27.519,0:15:31.279
server

0:15:28.639,0:15:32.000
it should show you the loopback address

0:15:31.279,0:15:35.120
and it

0:15:32.000,0:15:38.959
should also tell you about your

0:15:35.120,0:15:41.600
wan or lan address

0:15:38.959,0:15:43.040
and it will include your server address

0:15:41.600,0:15:44.480
and i’m not going to ever tell you that

0:15:43.040,0:15:48.000
well duh

0:15:44.480,0:15:48.639
so just run the if config and look to

0:15:48.000,0:15:50.720
see

0:15:48.639,0:15:52.480
it should kind of match with what is in

0:15:50.720,0:15:53.680
your etsy resolve dot configuration

0:15:52.480,0:15:56.320
it shouldn’t it’s not going to be the

0:15:53.680,0:16:00.079
exact same but look for an example

0:15:56.320,0:16:03.839
if the server ip in the etsy config

0:16:00.079,0:16:05.279
file is different than the ip address

0:16:03.839,0:16:08.959
when you run

0:16:05.279,0:16:10.639
ifconfig that could be

0:16:08.959,0:16:12.800
the problem right there it could be a

0:16:10.639,0:16:14.800
configuration problem that could be

0:16:12.800,0:16:18.000
you know what i’m saying a clue all

0:16:14.800,0:16:21.680
right what is next

0:16:18.000,0:16:25.199
another place that you can look is the

0:16:21.680,0:16:29.360
log files now

0:16:25.199,0:16:30.639
i wrote this blog post for linux

0:16:29.360,0:16:32.639
however there are different

0:16:30.639,0:16:35.199
distributions the log

0:16:32.639,0:16:36.079
file for postfix may not be in this

0:16:35.199,0:16:38.480
exact

0:16:36.079,0:16:39.759
location but you can look look under the

0:16:38.480,0:16:43.199
slash var

0:16:39.759,0:16:46.959
slash log directory look for the mail

0:16:43.199,0:16:50.399
log and it’s spelled with two l’s

0:16:46.959,0:16:51.680
male log no spaces now i gave you two

0:16:50.399,0:16:55.360
quick commands to

0:16:51.680,0:16:58.240
view the log file tail minus f mail log

0:16:55.360,0:16:59.040
that will show you the last i think 10

0:16:58.240,0:17:01.040
lines

0:16:59.040,0:17:04.720
in that log file that could be a quick

0:17:01.040,0:17:07.199
one you know what i’m saying to view the

0:17:04.720,0:17:09.919
entire log file you would type in vi

0:17:07.199,0:17:11.919
space mail log now vi is an editor you

0:17:09.919,0:17:14.160
can use emacs or you could use another

0:17:11.919,0:17:15.919
editor

0:17:14.160,0:17:19.839
my point is that you want to use an

0:17:15.919,0:17:22.720
editor and these are command lines okay

0:17:19.839,0:17:24.959
vi and then mail log or emacs and then

0:17:22.720,0:17:26.079
mail log or however whatever editor you

0:17:24.959,0:17:28.960
use or however

0:17:26.079,0:17:30.799
you use your editor command line now

0:17:28.960,0:17:33.600
when it comes to log files

0:17:30.799,0:17:34.640
through a control panel you can view

0:17:33.600,0:17:36.880
them but

0:17:34.640,0:17:37.919
it’s like a pain in the ass but but that

0:17:36.880,0:17:40.640
is another option

0:17:37.919,0:17:42.000
your control panel whether it’s cpanel

0:17:40.640,0:17:44.240
or any other one

0:17:42.000,0:17:45.760
may have may have the ability to view

0:17:44.240,0:17:47.360
them the log file

0:17:45.760,0:17:49.840
within the control panel that’s another

0:17:47.360,0:17:52.160
way that might be easier if you’re not

0:17:49.840,0:17:54.160
familiar with command line but i highly

0:17:52.160,0:17:57.280
encourage you to learn command line

0:17:54.160,0:17:57.600
all right so look in the so my point is

0:17:57.280,0:18:01.120
that

0:17:57.600,0:18:05.200
look for the log file for

0:18:01.120,0:18:07.520
postfix which might be a

0:18:05.200,0:18:09.200
good chance that it’s slash var slash

0:18:07.520,0:18:11.600
log okay

0:18:09.200,0:18:12.240
and now let me give you some warnings

0:18:11.600,0:18:14.480
about the

0:18:12.240,0:18:15.919
mail log there’s there could be a lot of

0:18:14.480,0:18:18.799
false positives or

0:18:15.919,0:18:19.600
there’s a lot of logs that are dealing

0:18:18.799,0:18:21.760
with security

0:18:19.600,0:18:22.799
there’s a lot of assholes and bitches on

0:18:21.760,0:18:24.960
the internet

0:18:22.799,0:18:27.360
that are trying to circumvent your mail

0:18:24.960,0:18:29.679
server they’re trying to use it so that

0:18:27.360,0:18:32.799
they can use your server to

0:18:29.679,0:18:34.880
send spam or they’re trying to hack in

0:18:32.799,0:18:37.039
excuse me excuse me political

0:18:34.880,0:18:39.679
correctness you’re dealing with youtube

0:18:37.039,0:18:41.520
youtuber censors susan wojcicki should

0:18:39.679,0:18:44.799
have been fired a long time ago

0:18:41.520,0:18:47.679
google and did you know that the cia

0:18:44.799,0:18:50.480
funded google via the national science

0:18:47.679,0:18:53.600
foundation anyways

0:18:50.480,0:18:55.840
if you talk about certain topics on

0:18:53.600,0:18:56.880
youtube you may get your channel

0:18:55.840,0:19:00.240
terminated

0:18:56.880,0:19:02.880
i did not use the h word

0:19:00.240,0:19:04.000
that was a prop that i i’m gonna blame

0:19:02.880,0:19:06.320
it on

0:19:04.000,0:19:07.919
that was a youtube problem or yeah i

0:19:06.320,0:19:11.280
don’t know what that was that was a

0:19:07.919,0:19:14.799
the internet just fucked up i

0:19:11.280,0:19:17.280
did not talk about you know helping you

0:19:14.799,0:19:19.840
circumvent security i’m trying to warn

0:19:17.280,0:19:19.840
you about

0:19:20.080,0:19:24.880
computer security okay but there are

0:19:23.280,0:19:25.600
assholes and bitches that may try to

0:19:24.880,0:19:27.919
circumvent

0:19:25.600,0:19:28.880
your server so there’s going to be a lot

0:19:27.919,0:19:31.039
of those logs

0:19:28.880,0:19:32.080
those could be kind of consider the

0:19:31.039,0:19:34.000
false positives

0:19:32.080,0:19:35.360
with regards to you’re trying to

0:19:34.000,0:19:38.080

0:21:01.760,0:21:04.320
on the story

0:21:02.480,0:21:06.240
website where i earned supplemental

0:21:04.320,0:21:12.080
income

0:21:06.240,0:21:12.080
going mentally ill one person told me

0:21:12.880,0:21:18.080
he said

0:21:16.240,0:21:19.840
what was he used the f word whenever

0:21:18.080,0:21:21.760
they start cussing i warned them

0:21:19.840,0:21:23.200
i said i asked them nicely please

0:21:21.760,0:21:25.360
refrain from adult language

0:21:23.200,0:21:26.480
these goddamn americans which are most

of my customers

0:21:26.480,0:21:32.400
are emotional americans

0:21:30.559,0:21:35.600

0:21:32.400,0:21:35.600
refuse to use logic

0:21:36.559,0:21:39.600

0:21:38.640,0:21:41.360

0:21:39.600,0:21:42.960
and then no i don’t i don’t put up with

0:21:41.360,0:21:46.400
that you’re not gonna abuse me

0:21:42.960,0:21:48.640
you do but you’re i’m not gonna allow it

0:21:46.400,0:21:50.000
i asked one individual please refrain

0:21:50.000,0:21:54.400
you know fuck you fuck this fuck that

0:21:52.640,0:21:56.799
and then they responded today

0:21:54.400,0:21:58.159
saying fuck you i asked them nicely

0:21:56.799,0:21:59.919
please do not use

0:21:58.159,0:22:01.360
abusive adult language what do they

0:21:59.919,0:22:04.799
respond with fuck you

0:22:01.360,0:22:06.799
i fired them means i don’t have to

0:22:04.799,0:22:08.400
deal with him ever again however on this

0:22:06.799,0:22:09.360
website i’ve been stalked i’ve had

0:22:08.400,0:22:11.120
people that i

0:22:09.360,0:22:12.799
fired because i did not want to deal

0:22:11.120,0:22:14.960
with her abusive bullshit

0:22:12.799,0:22:16.240
and they tried to open up a ticket and

0:22:14.960,0:22:18.559
then assign it to me

0:22:16.240,0:22:19.679
well i quickly closed that ticket

0:22:18.559,0:22:22.559
another

0:22:19.679,0:22:25.200
client within the last week said that i

my service was fucking

0:22:25.200,0:22:29.360
horrible or useless he said you’re

0:22:27.840,0:22:32.000
fucking useless

0:22:29.360,0:22:33.039
now on this website what i do is when i

0:22:32.000,0:22:35.520
make my videos

0:22:33.039,0:22:36.960
i write detailed instructions telling

0:22:35.520,0:22:40.080
these motherfuckers

0:22:36.960,0:22:43.200
how to fix our problem i i give them

0:22:40.080,0:22:45.200
links i give them a contact form i tell

0:22:43.200,0:22:46.960
them how to chat with an online agent i

0:22:45.200,0:22:49.520
give them telephone numbers

0:22:46.960,0:22:50.720
i also give them detailed instructions

0:22:49.520,0:22:53.520
on how to solve the problem

0:22:50.720,0:22:54.559
i also give proof and yet these

0:22:53.520,0:22:58.240
motherfuckers

0:22:54.559,0:22:58.559
constantly respond and then they harass

0:22:58.240,0:23:01.679
us

0:22:58.559,0:23:03.919
and then a lot of times all i do is i i

0:23:01.679,0:23:05.679
and i have templates and i send the

0:23:03.919,0:23:06.799
original message with all the

0:23:05.679,0:23:09.840
instructions well

0:23:06.799,0:23:11.280
written well-documented links and all

0:23:09.840,0:23:11.840
the information that they would ever

0:23:11.280,0:23:15.200
need

0:23:11.840,0:23:16.000
and yet after one message they get

0:23:15.200,0:23:17.520
belligerent

0:23:16.000,0:23:19.039
and they’re like well your your

0:23:17.520,0:23:23.840
information is fucking worthless

0:23:19.039,0:23:23.840
i fired that motherfucker too adios

Amazon Seller Support Phone Number – How to Contact Amazon

Are you needing to contact Amazon seller support phone number? If you need immediate assistance with Amazon seller support you can dial toll free 1-866-216-1072. Then you want to dial the number 0 for you to contact an operator.

Now you will want to ask for the correct Amazon support department. For example seller account or individual account support. You may have to wait on hold, until an Amazon customer service representative answers your telephone call.

Also, you can submit an Amazon support request form online. You will want to choose the correct category and subcategory of your problem, if necessary. You may be prompted to log into your Amazon account.

Amazon support can be quite difficult to contact, as some of their telephone numbers are not necessarily posted out in the open so to speak on their Amazon.com website. However, if you perform enough Internet searches, you may stumble upon more detailed contact information. Also, what I noticed with Amazon, is that many of their support web pages with more detailed information, are only accessible with an Amazon account.

Another issue with Amazon support in general, is that some areas of their website may not be linked to from their main Amazon website or even a subdomain like sellercentral.amazon.com. What I mean is that certain areas of their support website(s) are hidden in plain site. You may not be required to log into your Amazon account to access a certain area.

However, it is not really linked to or advertised so to speak from main Amazon website(s). For example if you could not get a hold of a live Amazon seller customer service support agent, you could submit your problem in their Amazon seller forums. You will need to log in with your Amazon account in order to submit a new post however.

I have actually sold some items on Amazon before. Believe it or not I have sold books on Amazon as a computer technician. Also, I have sold some desktop computers on Amazon.

Amazon is actually quite easy to sell on. Most items already have a template listing. You can add additional informaiton and even photographs to your listing.

I had to call into Amazon seller support one time. Some clown on Amazon was demanding that I refund their money and allow them to keep an item. This was early on when I first started selling items on Amazon.

I called into their seller central customer service via the telephone number I gave you earlier in this article, to receive further information. It turned out that I did not need to allow the customer to keep the item, as well as refund their entire payment. Chances are it was some scam artist, that was trying to receive an item for free.

Anyways, I had to perform some Internet searches in order to find the Amazon seller support phone number to begin with. This was perplexing to me as I thought it should be readily available on one of their main web pages. When I did call into Amazon seller support, I did have to wait on hold.

However, their customer service agent was very helpful. I have not sold any items on Amazon in a few years now. I will give you one tip that I learned when selling items on Amazon.

Depending on the category, you can receive more money for your item(s) on Amazon compared to eBay or even Craigslist. I was able to sell used computers on Amazon and received quite a bit more money than I had when I sold used computers on Craigslist and eBay. The same exact model of computer or quite close to is more valuable on Amazon.

It may depend on the category, subcategory, niche, etc. but quite often I received more compensation for items on Amazon compared to Craigslist and eBay. Amazon also does not require that you have feedback. eBay can be a pain in the ass to sell on as a beginner because buyers seem to think you need feedback to become a legitimate seller.

Amazon buyers don’t care if you have feedback or not. Amazon buyers can leave feedback, but many did not, when I sold items. Hopefully, you are able to contact Amazon seller support phone number.

HTML5 Audio Player Not Working – in Firefox Web Browser

Another information technology problem in the world order. This time I was having problems with a third party website that I just recently converted from a WordPress content management system website to a hyper text markup language static website. One of the issues I noticed was that the HTML5 audio player not working in Mozilla Firefox web browser.

You see hyper text markup language version 5 has support for embedded media. You can use the built in <audio> tag to play audio. For example you could provide the playback of songs or even live radio.

However, to my chagrin the embedded HTML5 audio player not working problem only occurred in Mozilla Firefox web browser. As a web devoloper, webmaster, website owner, etc. it is always a good idea to test your websites functionality. Especially, in different web browsers, as currently not all web browsers support the same type of Internet technology.

I am not an exclusive web developer so I did not know that Mozilla Firefox web browser does actually natively support MP3 audio playback, at least at the time of this blog post creation. However, with this hyper text markup language code below, my live audio stream would not work in Mozilla Firefox web browser.

<audio controls>
<source src="http://xxxxxxxxxxxxxx.com:8000/" type="audio/mpeg">
</audio>

I add this line of code below, in addition to the code above, into the hyper text markup language web page that had an embedded audio player.

<source src="http://xxxxxxxxxxxxxx.com:8000/" type="audio/ogg">

I tested the web page with the embedded audio player and viola I could hear audio in Mozilla Firefox web browser. This Stack Overlow question response claims that both Mozilla Firefox and Opera web browsers prefer playing OGGing audio files instead of Moving Picture Experts Group audio layer 3 files also known as MP3. Ironically, Mozilla Firefox supports Moving Picture Experts Group audio layer 3 files in their official documentation.

Also, I did not independently verify whether or not the live streaming audio would work in Opera web browser. I have not installed or used Opera web browser in years. However, as a amateur web developer of sorts, I guess I had better install it one day for website testing purposes.

Interestingly enough Mozilla Firefox web browser supports these audio formats:

  • .wav
  • .wave
  • vorbis
  • .ogg
  • .opus
  • .oga
  • .ogv
  • .ogx
  • .spx
  • .flac
  • .mp3

I fixed another information technology HTML5 audio player not working quagmire, for now at least.

more personal quagmire

0:00:11.040,0:00:14.400
in information technology

0:00:14.639,0:00:19.199
i’m transitioning away from a content

0:00:19.199,0:00:24.880
with that god-awful guten editor

0:00:22.240,0:00:27.119
to static html because i’ve had it i’ve

0:00:24.880,0:00:30.720
had it with content management systems

0:00:27.119,0:00:33.920
here’s a tip according to google

0:00:30.720,0:00:35.680
they prefer they recommend that you have

0:00:33.920,0:00:37.760
the fastest loading website

0:00:35.680,0:00:39.760
possible so you may not want to use

0:00:37.760,0:00:43.200
wordpress

0:00:39.760,0:00:45.120
it’s slow and that god i fucking hate

0:00:43.200,0:00:47.280
that goon editor i’ll just be blunt

0:00:45.120,0:00:48.399
and honest that’s one that’s the main

0:00:47.280,0:00:50.719
reason why

0:00:48.399,0:00:51.440
i’m converting anet computers.com to

0:00:50.719,0:00:53.440
static

0:00:51.440,0:00:55.039
hypertext markup language all right so

0:00:53.440,0:00:57.600
now this deals with another website

0:00:55.039,0:01:00.000
which i will not disclose

0:00:57.600,0:01:02.320
and i converted that website from that

0:01:00.000,0:01:06.720
god awful good editor and wordpress to

0:01:02.320,0:01:09.520
static html hypertext markup language

0:01:06.720,0:01:10.400
i was live streaming audio on that

0:01:09.520,0:01:12.640
website

0:01:10.400,0:01:14.400
and then i tested it because you know i

0:01:12.640,0:01:15.280
converted the website and so you want to

0:01:14.400,0:01:18.320
test

0:01:15.280,0:01:20.240
and the audio would not work in mozilla

0:01:18.320,0:01:23.280
firefox web browser

0:01:20.240,0:01:26.960
and i was stumped i was like

0:01:23.280,0:01:29.680
incredulous with a chagrin

0:01:26.960,0:01:30.799
and i was like what the fuck so here is

0:01:29.680,0:01:34.000
the solution

0:01:30.799,0:01:36.159
if you have problems streaming audio or

0:01:34.000,0:01:41.840
getting audio to play

0:01:36.159,0:01:41.840
in hyper text markup language

0:01:42.079,0:01:45.520
with the audio tag

0:01:46.479,0:01:49.759
in mozilla firefox and also possibly

0:01:48.880,0:01:52.640
opera

0:01:49.759,0:01:53.360
here is the possible fix this is what

0:01:52.640,0:01:55.920
fixed

0:01:53.360,0:01:57.119
my problem here is the code so let me

0:01:55.920,0:01:59.920
quickly describe

0:01:57.119,0:02:00.719
the code now in hypertext markup

0:01:59.920,0:02:03.680
language

0:02:00.719,0:02:06.000
the current version is five you are able

0:02:03.680,0:02:07.680
to embed both audio and video

0:02:06.000,0:02:09.920
because it has a built-in audio and

0:02:07.680,0:02:11.360
video player it’s not the bling bling

0:02:09.920,0:02:13.920
bling it’s not

0:02:11.360,0:02:16.480
you know holly weird style it’s not even

0:02:13.920,0:02:16.720
las vegas style with the flashing lights

0:02:16.480,0:02:20.640
and

0:02:16.720,0:02:22.800
oh my god the the most gorgeous

0:02:20.640,0:02:23.760
you know media player on the planet oh

0:02:22.800,0:02:26.879
my god no

0:02:23.760,0:02:27.360
it has a basic audio player but it works

0:02:26.879,0:02:31.360
very

0:02:27.360,0:02:33.760
well this is my original code

0:02:31.360,0:02:36.160
so in hypertext markup language you use

0:02:33.760,0:02:39.680
you can use this tag

0:02:36.160,0:02:43.760
to stream and play audio

0:02:39.680,0:02:45.599
in your website audio controls that’s

0:02:43.760,0:02:50.319
the opening tag

0:02:45.599,0:02:53.760
controls tells it to load controls like

0:02:50.319,0:02:57.120
you know volume adjustment

0:02:53.760,0:02:58.720
etc you can use the you can take out the

0:02:57.120,0:03:00.239
controls if you wanted to and it would

0:02:58.720,0:03:02.560
just be the audio tag but i don’t want

0:03:00.239,0:03:05.519
to digress about the specifics

0:03:02.560,0:03:06.000
of each you know tag in hypertext markup

0:03:05.519,0:03:07.840
language

0:03:06.000,0:03:09.200
because i’m really not an expert but i

0:03:07.840,0:03:11.280
know how to code some

0:03:09.200,0:03:12.239
all right now you have to tell the

0:03:11.280,0:03:14.879
source

0:03:12.239,0:03:16.720
so this second line is just telling

0:03:14.879,0:03:20.400
hypertext markup language

0:03:16.720,0:03:20.400
this the source of the audio

0:03:20.480,0:03:27.120
so that it will play in an embedded

0:03:23.680,0:03:30.319
player on the web page

0:03:27.120,0:03:32.319
and then you tell the hypertext markup

0:03:30.319,0:03:33.840
language what is the type what is the

0:03:32.319,0:03:37.200
type of audio

0:03:33.840,0:03:37.200
that you’re wanting me to play

0:03:37.920,0:03:45.519
and audio slash mpeg is actually for mp3

0:03:42.480,0:03:49.360
so officially mozilla firefox supports

0:03:45.519,0:03:50.959
mp3 although mp3 i think requires a

0:03:49.360,0:03:52.560
license i could be wrong but i think

0:03:50.959,0:03:53.920
mozilla has to pay a license fee in

0:03:52.560,0:03:57.680
order for you to

0:03:53.920,0:04:00.799
have the ability to play mp3 audio

0:03:57.680,0:04:04.319
in their web browser mozilla firefox

0:04:00.799,0:04:05.519
now og which i will get to is an open

0:04:04.319,0:04:09.599
source codec

0:04:05.519,0:04:09.599
they don’t require a licensing fee

0:04:10.480,0:04:15.840
however according to a stack overflow

0:04:16.320,0:04:20.239
question post that i found

0:04:21.040,0:04:24.960
both mozilla firefox and opera they

0:04:23.600,0:04:27.759
don’t they support

0:04:24.960,0:04:29.280
mp3 but they don’t necessarily like to

0:04:27.759,0:04:31.360
support it

0:04:29.280,0:04:33.040
it doesn’t work very well so this is

0:04:31.360,0:04:35.759
what fixed my problem

0:04:33.040,0:04:37.919
now here’s the closing tag slash audio

0:04:35.759,0:04:42.960
in hypertext markup language

0:04:37.919,0:04:46.479
the forward slash closes the tag

0:04:42.960,0:04:49.120
it tells the interpreter stop

0:04:46.479,0:04:50.880
stop with the audio controls stop right

0:04:49.120,0:04:53.759
now

0:04:50.880,0:04:55.600
here’s the second line that i added to

0:04:53.759,0:04:57.199
fix my problem

0:04:55.600,0:05:00.240
it’s just this line right here that i

0:04:57.199,0:05:03.199
highlighted it i’m telling it the source

0:05:00.240,0:05:04.560
of the audio it could be an mp3 file it

0:05:03.199,0:05:07.759
could be

0:05:04.560,0:05:08.800
the destination on the web server to an

0:05:07.759,0:05:11.199
mp3 or

0:05:08.800,0:05:12.400
another audio file obviously this is not

0:05:11.199,0:05:14.240
but i’m not going to get into the

0:05:12.400,0:05:16.560
details here

0:05:14.240,0:05:17.680
this is what fixed it i added in this

0:05:16.560,0:05:21.199
type

0:05:17.680,0:05:23.520
so i added two types two lines

0:05:21.199,0:05:24.800
with the same source but with two

0:05:23.520,0:05:28.080
different

0:05:24.800,0:05:31.600
audio types type equals

0:05:28.080,0:05:34.639
audio slash og ogg

0:05:31.600,0:05:37.120
is an open source audio codec that both

0:05:34.639,0:05:39.680
mazuro firefox and opera supports

0:05:37.120,0:05:41.039
and it’s open source and so you don’t

0:05:39.680,0:05:43.120
have to pay a licensing fee

0:05:41.039,0:05:44.639
you know what i’m saying and that’s what

0:05:43.120,0:05:46.240
fixed it i don’t know why that is i

0:05:44.639,0:05:48.560
don’t know if it’s a glitch or a bug

0:05:46.240,0:05:50.560
with mozilla firefox web browser

0:05:48.560,0:05:52.160
but according to the post from stack

0:05:50.560,0:05:55.360
overflow

0:05:52.160,0:05:58.479
i guess it you know both mozilla firefox

0:05:55.360,0:05:58.800
and opera web browsers and notorious for

0:05:58.479,0:06:02.000
not

0:05:58.800,0:06:02.560
necessarily being you know mp3 friendly

0:06:02.000,0:06:04.960
even though

0:06:02.560,0:06:07.280
both web browsers support mp3 so i’m

0:06:04.960,0:06:08.319
just not 100 certain all i know is i fix

0:06:07.280,0:06:10.240
the problem

0:06:08.319,0:06:12.240
now when i went back to that and i can’t

0:06:10.240,0:06:14.080
demonstrate because it’s a third-party

0:06:12.240,0:06:15.919
website it’s an activist website

0:06:14.080,0:06:17.600
and i will never ever discuss it because

0:06:15.919,0:06:20.160
of the american

0:06:17.600,0:06:21.520
communist socialist americans that do

0:06:20.160,0:06:23.840
not want to become free

0:06:21.520,0:06:25.600
they are commies their control freaks

0:06:23.840,0:06:26.080
they will snitch on you they will troll

0:06:25.600,0:06:28.560
you

0:06:26.080,0:06:31.120
they will swat you ad nauseum at

0:06:28.560,0:06:31.120
infinite

0:06:32.880,0:06:38.160
but if you run into this problem where

0:06:35.039,0:06:39.120
for whatever reason html5 audio player

0:06:38.160,0:06:41.840
is not working

0:06:39.120,0:06:43.759
in mozilla firefox web browser this is a

0:06:41.840,0:06:46.800
potential fix

0:06:43.759,0:06:51.440
you you tell you you give the

0:06:46.800,0:06:53.840
html you stipulate two types of audio

0:06:51.440,0:06:55.039
and it actually fixed it before it would

0:06:53.840,0:06:57.520
not work with this

0:06:55.039,0:06:58.720
tag or excuse me with this type i don’t

0:06:57.520,0:07:01.039
know why that’s bizarre

0:06:58.720,0:07:02.639
but when i added the audio alt tag it

0:07:01.039,0:07:06.080
worked and

0:07:02.639,0:07:07.440
i’m my streamer the streams audio alive

0:07:06.080,0:07:11.680
24 hours a day on this

0:07:07.440,0:07:14.960
website it’s actually

0:07:11.680,0:07:17.440
the variable i stipulated was mp3

0:07:14.960,0:07:19.599
so it’s streaming in mp3 but it won’t

0:07:17.440,0:07:22.560
play in mp3 in mozilla firefox

0:07:19.599,0:07:23.680
so i added aug as a type and it and it

0:07:22.560,0:07:27.360
plays now

0:07:23.680,0:07:27.360
i added the additional

0:07:27.440,0:07:32.160
line right here underneath this one in

0:07:30.479,0:07:33.599
between the two tags in between the

0:07:32.160,0:07:36.880
opening and the closing

0:07:33.599,0:07:39.919
i saved it the changes on my web server

0:07:36.880,0:07:42.400
i cleared the web browser cache

0:07:39.919,0:07:44.000
for mozilla and i refreshed that page

0:07:42.400,0:07:46.240
and bam

0:07:44.000,0:07:47.759
it loaded the player correctly if if it

0:07:46.240,0:07:49.759
doesn’t if it will not play

0:07:47.759,0:07:51.039
it could be it could be just you know a

0:07:49.759,0:07:52.800
coding error

0:07:51.039,0:07:54.479
or in this instance it didn’t like the

0:07:52.800,0:07:57.680
type i don’t know why that is

0:07:54.479,0:07:58.319
the button will be grayed out the button

0:07:57.680,0:08:00.000
will

0:07:58.319,0:08:01.680
will not be grayed out and you’ll be

0:08:00.000,0:08:04.560
able to click on it

0:08:01.680,0:08:06.720
if the stream loads correctly it loaded

0:08:04.560,0:08:10.400
correctly i clicked on play and bam

0:08:06.720,0:08:13.360
is start playing so that is my solution

0:08:10.400,0:08:13.840
and you can check out my blog post where

0:08:13.360,0:08:15.840
i

0:08:13.840,0:08:17.280
you know discuss more about this and

0:08:15.840,0:08:18.639
then you can check out the code that

0:08:17.280,0:08:21.479
you’ll need to enter

0:08:18.639,0:08:23.440
now this is for audio only this is for

0:08:21.479,0:08:25.680
html5

0:08:23.440,0:08:26.800
hypertext markup language and this is

0:08:25.680,0:08:32.399
for embedding

0:08:26.800,0:08:35.200
the the built-in audio player that html5

0:08:32.399,0:08:37.039
includes now and how to get it to work

0:08:35.200,0:08:38.240
in mozilla firefox and opera i did not

0:08:37.039,0:08:40.959
test an opera

0:08:38.240,0:08:41.760
i have not installed opera web browser

0:08:40.959,0:08:45.200
in like

0:08:41.760,0:08:47.200
what a century i mean yeah

0:08:45.200,0:08:49.360
five years at least because i never

0:08:47.200,0:08:50.320
really liked opera yeah it worked okay i

0:08:49.360,0:08:53.839
just did

0:08:50.320,0:08:55.760
the interface the graphical user

0:08:53.839,0:08:57.600
interface is just kind of

0:08:55.760,0:08:59.519
i’m sorry but for me it was kind of

0:08:57.600,0:09:02.480
jankety

0:08:59.519,0:09:04.800
i know that slang oh i know you pale

0:09:02.480,0:09:06.959
skinned european supremacists

0:09:04.800,0:09:08.000
number you hate us people with color and

0:09:06.959,0:09:10.160
especially you don’t like

0:09:08.000,0:09:11.839
it when we use slang or we don’t use

0:09:10.160,0:09:15.839
proper european

0:09:11.839,0:09:18.160
terms all right it was janky but

0:09:15.839,0:09:20.240
you know i should probably install opera

0:09:18.160,0:09:22.560
so i could test properly i did have i

0:09:20.240,0:09:25.839
don’t like mozilla firefox web browser

0:09:22.560,0:09:27.360
it’s bloated it’s it’s largest although

0:09:25.839,0:09:29.680
i will say recently

0:09:27.360,0:09:32.640
when i do use it to test my website it

0:09:29.680,0:09:34.640
seems to be functioning faster

0:09:32.640,0:09:37.279
and whereas a couple of months ago i’m

0:09:34.640,0:09:39.519
like what the fuck is this shit

0:09:37.279,0:09:41.200
it is indeed a brave new world for

0:09:39.519,0:09:44.640
people with color in the european pale

0:09:41.200,0:09:48.000
skin supremacist world order

0:09:44.640,0:09:50.000
the web bras are brave you know it loads

0:09:48.000,0:09:52.480
it up pretty quick but fucking mozilla

0:09:50.000,0:09:53.920
firefox but now recently it’s much much

0:09:52.480,0:09:56.320
quicker i’m not sure why that is but i

0:09:53.920,0:09:59.440
do not rely on mozilla firefox but i i

0:09:56.320,0:10:01.279
understand that a lot of individuals

0:09:59.440,0:10:02.720
on the internet they will use mozilla

0:10:01.279,0:10:04.959
firefox they will use

0:10:02.720,0:10:06.640
opera and they will use chrome i did not

0:10:04.959,0:10:09.279
test in chrome

0:10:06.640,0:10:10.000
now brave is based upon chromium but

0:10:09.279,0:10:12.800
it’s not

0:10:10.000,0:10:14.720
exactly like google chrome web browser

0:10:12.800,0:10:17.200
so but i should probably

0:10:14.720,0:10:18.000
install well let’s see i guess i should

0:10:17.200,0:10:21.440
just install

0:10:18.000,0:10:22.240
every web browser ever built including

0:10:21.440,0:10:25.440
netscape

0:10:22.240,0:10:26.560
and how about links the text only i mean

0:10:25.440,0:10:28.959
it gets ridiculous

0:10:26.560,0:10:30.880
and some of these web browser developers

0:10:28.959,0:10:33.920
they don’t necessarily support

0:10:30.880,0:10:38.240
all of the same media codex

0:10:33.920,0:10:40.880
so it’s just but i am much happier

0:10:38.240,0:10:43.279
with i have two websites now that i

0:10:40.880,0:10:46.640
converted from that god awful wordpress

0:10:43.279,0:10:49.200
with that atrocious guten editor

0:10:46.640,0:10:49.920
talk about gluten i mean intolerance i

0:10:49.200,0:10:53.680
mean good

0:10:49.920,0:10:59.600
i have a guten editor intolerance

0:10:53.680,0:10:59.600
you know what i’m saying adios

Windows Vista Updates – Fix Windows Update Never Finds Any Updates

Another computer operating system problem with a Microsoft corporation operating system. This time Microsoft Windows Vista updates endusers would encounter Microsoft Windows update never finding any updates.

As an enduser you would search for Microsoft Windows updates and it would be a never ending search. Microsoft Windows Vista operating system would actually never find any new updates. I was also having this proverbial Microsoft operating system quagmire.

Initially, I was using a Dell desktop computer with Microsoft Windows Vista service pack two installed. I thought I was a genius by reinstalling Microsoft Vista, including service pack two. What a colossal failure that lack of brilliant idea was.

I finally found the solution to fix this problem where Microsoft Windows Vista updates never finds any updates. What initially fixed this problem was to install these five Microsoft updates in order by number. You want to install the oldest Microsoft Windows updates first in numerical order.

What you want to do is install all of the a fore mentioned five Microsoft updates for your exact Microsoft Vista operating system. If you have Microsoft Vista x86 32 bit operating system, then install the x86 32 bit updates. If you have Microsoft Vista x64 64 bit operating system, then install the x64 64 bit updates.

Installing the a fore mentioned five Microsoft updates no longer fixed the problem with Microsoft Vista operating system never finding any updates to install. Now you would want to install these five Microsoft operating system updates in numerical order. Install the oldest first numerically.

Microsoft Corporation no longer supports Microsoft Windows Vista operating system. What this means is that no operating system and security updates will be available in the future for Microsoft Windows Vista operating system. In all intents and purposes they have retired Microsoft Windows Vista operating system.

April of two thousand seventeen was the last month that any Microsoft Windows Vista updates were available for this operating system to download. The following is a list of the last available Microsoft Windows Vista updates.

The end of another Microsoft Windows operating system era, has commenced.

Windows Vista Updates – Fix Windows Update Never Finds Any Updates Video Transcript

0:00:00.260,0:00:05.850
Ultra video party Roy want to make this

0:00:02.730,0:00:07.620
video concerning a problemo that I’ve

0:00:05.850,0:00:09.870
been having for quite some time on

0:00:07.620,0:00:12.840
Windows Vista with Service Pack 2

0:00:09.870,0:00:17.760
whereby I have not been able to install

0:00:12.840,0:00:21.150
any Windows updates when either

0:00:17.760,0:00:23.340
restoring to factory or performing a

0:00:21.150,0:00:26.070
fresh install Windows Vista I stumble

0:00:23.340,0:00:27.510
upon this article this website a URL and

0:00:26.070,0:00:30.599
I will include it in this youtube video

0:00:27.510,0:00:34.110
description whereby I solved my problem

0:00:30.599,0:00:39.090
by installing these five Microsoft

0:00:34.110,0:00:43.890
updates in order oldest to newest so 307

0:00:39.090,0:00:48.750
and 308 310 314 316 I’m running Vista

0:00:43.890,0:00:53.940
64-bit then I downloaded these five for

0:00:48.750,0:01:00.780
Vista 64-bit on screen this is the 307

0:00:53.940,0:01:04.739
308 3 to 14 and then 316 since it’s July

0:01:00.780,0:01:07.880
of 2016 this will probably change in the

0:01:04.739,0:01:11.100
future you can check out this website

0:01:07.880,0:01:13.369
URL and see if it’s updated in the

0:01:11.100,0:01:16.560
future you’ll probably have to download

0:01:13.369,0:01:20.189
additional ones possibly possibly

0:01:16.560,0:01:24.409
now before you download and install

0:01:20.189,0:01:27.900
these you want to go through the steps

0:01:24.409,0:01:31.079
disable automatic updates so go to your

0:01:27.900,0:01:35.820
Vista machine and then go to start and

0:01:31.079,0:01:38.820
then control panel or start all programs

0:01:35.820,0:01:42.600
and then Windows updates but actually it

0:01:38.820,0:01:45.060
was kind of cut off because I’m using

0:01:42.600,0:01:48.720
the screen capture program go to Windows

0:01:45.060,0:01:54.420
Update and then you want to change the

0:01:48.720,0:01:57.299
settings you want to hit this down drop

0:01:54.420,0:01:59.250
box and then select never check for

0:01:57.299,0:02:02.040
updates and then click OK

0:01:59.250,0:02:03.479
we can move that on screen click OK I’m

0:02:02.040,0:02:09.020
not going to because I don’t want to

0:02:03.479,0:02:09.020
change the settings and then you would

0:02:09.229,0:02:16.910
then reboot your computer now if you had

0:02:12.770,0:02:19.550
your Windows updates set to never check

0:02:16.910,0:02:22.129
then you shouldn’t have to change that

0:02:19.550,0:02:25.340
if you have any of these other settings

0:02:22.129,0:02:28.160
set like I have now any of these other

0:02:25.340,0:02:30.530
three then select never check for

0:02:28.160,0:02:34.099
updates click OK reboot your computer

0:02:30.530,0:02:36.650
because most likely your computer is

0:02:34.099,0:02:37.970
already checking for updates in the

0:02:36.650,0:02:40.280
background and then when you go to

0:02:37.970,0:02:43.849
manually install these updates they

0:02:40.280,0:02:45.170
won’t install because Windows is

0:02:43.849,0:02:46.940
checking for updates and it won’t let

0:02:45.170,0:02:50.599
you install manually at the same time

0:02:46.940,0:02:56.690
now as you can see once I installed

0:02:50.599,0:03:00.349
these five updates from – from last well

0:02:56.690,0:03:07.040
excuse me four from last year and then –

0:03:00.349,0:03:12.410
from this year excuse me up here it

0:03:07.040,0:03:14.450
rectified my problem I did not go and do

0:03:12.410,0:03:17.569
this step I did not download them this

0:03:14.450,0:03:19.549
way and then I just basically disable

0:03:17.569,0:03:21.829
automatic updates rebooted the system

0:03:19.549,0:03:23.810
and then manually download these from

0:03:21.829,0:03:29.180
these URLs and I will include a link to

0:03:23.810,0:03:37.010
the URL where you choose 32-bit x86 or

0:03:29.180,0:03:39.260
64 bit which is x64 and then as you can

0:03:37.010,0:03:41.930
see on screen it says 206 important

0:03:39.260,0:03:44.090
updates are available and then it only

0:03:41.930,0:03:48.500
took about five minutes I rebooted the

0:03:44.090,0:03:50.209
computer and then I enabled Windows

0:03:48.500,0:03:52.190
updates and then it automatically

0:03:50.209,0:03:54.889
started checking for them and then I’d

0:03:52.190,0:03:56.630
say about five minutes it found two

0:03:54.889,0:03:59.120
hundred and six important updates and

0:03:56.630,0:04:00.440
now I can install them so and then also

0:03:59.120,0:04:04.340
I made a previous video

0:04:00.440,0:04:09.109
a similar fix for Windows 7 now this

0:04:04.340,0:04:11.660
article also is for Windows 7 with a

0:04:09.109,0:04:13.220
different step so if you’re having a

0:04:11.660,0:04:16.760
problem in Windows 7 Service Pack 1

0:04:13.220,0:04:18.349
installing updates where they just they

0:04:16.760,0:04:21.260
searched and searched and searched and

0:04:18.349,0:04:22.730
it never finds any well here’s a fix for

0:04:21.260,0:04:25.100
that and then I also made a

0:04:22.730,0:04:29.480
video a few months ago and then I will

0:04:25.100,0:04:33.410
include a card to that one so hopefully

0:04:29.480,0:04:36.260
either the steps for Windows 7 or that

0:04:33.410,0:04:42.010
video will help you get updates working

0:04:36.260,0:04:42.010
on Windows 7 as well adios

WordPress 5.5 Sitemap – Location

WordPress 5.5 was recently released for production use. One interesting new feature with WordPress 5.5 is a built in sitemap. However, by default this feature is turned on.

I was a bit confused as to where this sitemap is located. There are quite a few WordPress plugins that are free or paid for that you can use to create a sitemap. Now this sitemap I am talking about is for search engines like Bing, Google, etc.

You see search engines often times look for Uniform Resource Locators by browsing a website’s robots.txt file. Generally, the robots.txt file is located in the document root folder of a website on the server side. For example:

/home/user/public_html/robots.txt

Now not all web servers have the same directory structure to your websites root folder location. The WordPress 5.5 sitemap is actually located at this example below.

http://www.governmentsucks.com/wp-sitemap.xml

According to this WordPress 5.5 sitemap core blog post, WordPress 5.5 now automatically creates a sitemap by default named sitemap.xml.

http://www.governmentsucks.com/sitemap.xml

However, this file does not exist, because actually I had disabled a free plugin that would create a sitemap.xml file for Bing, Google, etc. search engines. I actually found this sitemap instead, wp-sitemap.xml. You see before WordPress 5.5, you had to either manually create a sitemap or install a plugin in order to have a sitemap for Bing, Google, etc. search engines.

Also, the new WordPress 5.5 is supposed to automatically change your robots.txt file with the new default WordPress 5.5 sitemap. However, this website you are reading this blog post on, did not have an updated robots.txt file after I upgraded WordPress to 5.5. Actually, I had upgraded another one of my websites that I administer, and I found this entry in that websites robots.txt file.

User-agent: *
Disallow: /wp-admin/
Allow: /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php

Sitemap: http://www.xxxxxxxxxxxxxx.com/wp-sitemap.xml

The most important line is the one above highlighted with bold font. I browsed to:

http://www.anetcomputers.com/wp-sitemap.xml

Sure enough the new WordPress 5.5 sitemap had been successfully created. I went ahead and manually edited this domain’s robots.txt file with the correct Sitemap: declaration. Also, I updated my Google Webmasters sitemap declaration for the WordPress 5.5 sitemap.

You do not necessarily need to include information in both your Google Webmasters account and or robots.txt file about your sitemap location. Some search robots will ignore this file. Also, it is well known that Google indexes websites now a days without you evening notifying their search robot about your websites sitemap file.

Finally, I had already disabled the plugin that had created the old sitemap.xml file. I went ahead and deleted this plugin. I am satisfied for now with this built in WordPress 5.5 sitemap. In summation, if you are confused as to the location of your WordPress 5.5 sitemap, look for sitemap.xml or wp-sitemap.xml using my example domain name above.

0:00:01.599,0:00:07.040
all right well i believe

0:00:03.360,0:00:09.040
i am live and these motherfuckers at

0:00:07.040,0:00:13.360
youtube i’m telling you

0:00:09.040,0:00:16.960
they they fucking changed the goddamn

0:00:13.360,0:00:20.400
streaming platform when on the back end

0:00:16.960,0:00:24.160
it you it used to ask you to click on

0:00:20.400,0:00:26.320
go live you would hit your encoder

0:00:24.160,0:00:27.599
and start streaming and then you had to

0:00:26.320,0:00:30.640
click another button

0:00:27.599,0:00:33.920
that said go live well

0:00:30.640,0:00:37.600
when i started the stream

0:00:33.920,0:00:41.600
the button disappeared and so now

0:00:37.600,0:00:44.000
there’s another button called end stream

0:00:41.600,0:00:47.360
and then also i wasn’t able to edit the

0:00:44.000,0:00:47.360
title of this live stream

0:00:47.600,0:00:51.680
normally it asks you to enter in the

0:00:49.920,0:00:53.440
title and some additional information

0:00:51.680,0:00:56.320
before you even start

0:00:53.440,0:00:57.120
i had to click on edit because it

0:00:56.320,0:01:00.960
pre-filled

0:00:57.120,0:01:02.559
from my from some default all right

0:01:00.960,0:01:05.360
so this is my live stream about

0:01:02.559,0:01:08.560
wordpress 5.5

0:01:05.360,0:01:11.600
which is an the most recent version

0:01:08.560,0:01:15.040
up to this you know video creation

0:01:11.600,0:01:18.640
and one interesting feature of

0:01:15.040,0:01:21.119
wordpress 5.5 is a built-in default

0:01:18.640,0:01:22.560
site map so that’s what this live stream

0:01:21.119,0:01:26.240
is going

0:01:22.560,0:01:28.479
to become now

0:01:26.240,0:01:30.799
two live streams ago i complained about

0:01:28.479,0:01:33.840
how atrocious youtube was

0:01:30.799,0:01:37.759
and then

0:01:33.840,0:01:41.520
my last live stream was perfect

0:01:37.759,0:01:43.759
it was archived within an hour

0:01:41.520,0:01:46.159
and i you know that’s why i live stream

0:01:43.759,0:01:48.079
it so it saves me time

0:01:46.159,0:01:50.399
but i was not aware of the new changes

0:01:48.079,0:01:53.280
all right so let’s get into this

0:01:50.399,0:01:54.240
now let me go through my blog post and

0:01:53.280,0:01:57.200
it’s

0:01:54.240,0:01:58.159
basically 100 percent written except for

0:01:57.200,0:02:00.399
i need to

0:01:58.159,0:02:01.520
add it something additional to it that i

0:02:00.399,0:02:04.799
just thought

0:02:01.520,0:02:07.119
but let’s go over that now so maybe you

0:02:04.799,0:02:10.879
were confused or you’re just

0:02:07.119,0:02:14.000
you know similar to me i’m not an expert

0:02:10.879,0:02:17.520
and speaking of experts how are the

0:02:14.000,0:02:20.400
youtube technology shills surviving

0:02:17.520,0:02:20.720
during this alleged pandemic when they

0:02:20.400,0:02:23.120
live

0:02:20.720,0:02:24.319
in their gated communities how are the

0:02:23.120,0:02:26.720
youtube technology

0:02:24.319,0:02:27.920
shills surviving in their gated

0:02:26.720,0:02:30.400
communities

0:02:27.920,0:02:32.560
complaining about how bad youtube is for

0:02:30.400,0:02:34.319
them

0:02:32.560,0:02:36.400
meanwhile the rest of us we’re just

0:02:34.319,0:02:36.800
lucky like myself that i’m self-employed

0:02:36.400,0:02:39.040
alright

0:02:36.800,0:02:40.160
so topic of discussion and i hope i

0:02:39.040,0:02:43.040
won’t digress again

0:02:40.160,0:02:43.680
i was not ready for that i went i i

0:02:43.040,0:02:45.519
clicked

0:02:43.680,0:02:47.120
you know i went into my encoder i

0:02:45.519,0:02:49.280
started streaming and then all of a

0:02:47.120,0:02:51.360
sudden youtube said that it was live and

0:02:49.280,0:02:53.519
there was a counter and i’m like wait a

0:02:51.360,0:02:55.680
minute i didn’t even get to prepare

0:02:53.519,0:02:58.800
all right which i don’t fucking care

0:02:55.680,0:02:58.800
because i do not

0:02:59.840,0:03:03.120
script any of my videos i actually

0:03:01.360,0:03:06.959
freestyle all them so

0:03:03.120,0:03:10.480
but anyways wordpress 5.5 sitemap

0:03:06.959,0:03:13.200
location i had no idea where it was at

0:03:10.480,0:03:13.599
so with the newest version of wordpress

0:03:13.200,0:03:16.800
up

0:03:13.599,0:03:18.560
until this point of this video creation

0:03:16.800,0:03:22.319
which was what two days ago

0:03:18.560,0:03:25.519
or yeah i think two days ago is when

0:03:22.319,0:03:27.760
wordpress officially released 5.5

0:03:25.519,0:03:28.799
into production and i decided to upgrade

0:03:27.760,0:03:31.440
that same day

0:03:28.799,0:03:33.440
or was it the day after anyways whatever

0:03:31.440,0:03:34.720
it’s been like two or three days

0:03:33.440,0:03:37.280
now i’m not going to go through all the

0:03:34.720,0:03:40.400
features but one interesting feature

0:03:37.280,0:03:43.360
that is brand new

0:03:40.400,0:03:44.239
never before used in wordpress is a

0:03:43.360,0:03:47.680
default

0:03:44.239,0:03:51.519
site map now caveat

0:03:47.680,0:03:52.560
mtor i am only talking about the site

0:03:51.519,0:03:55.840
map that you

0:03:52.560,0:03:58.159
use for search engines if you’re

0:03:55.840,0:03:58.959
a webmaster you know what i’m talking

0:03:58.159,0:04:00.959
about

0:03:58.959,0:04:02.239
there are technically two different site

0:04:00.959,0:04:05.120
maps

0:04:02.239,0:04:08.000
the first site map is xml which is a

0:04:05.120,0:04:08.000
markup language

0:04:08.120,0:04:11.920
sitemap.xml that’s the one i’m

0:04:11.040,0:04:15.599
discussing

0:04:11.920,0:04:18.799
that one is what

0:04:15.599,0:04:21.680
search robots search engines like bing

0:04:18.799,0:04:22.639
and google and others use that is what

0:04:21.680,0:04:24.639
i’m talking about

0:04:22.639,0:04:27.520
i am not talking about the other site

0:04:24.639,0:04:31.680
map that you

0:04:27.520,0:04:33.199
would use for your users

0:04:31.680,0:04:36.320
here’s a here’s a tip i’m going to give

0:04:33.199,0:04:37.840
you a tip right here that i’ve learned

0:04:36.320,0:04:39.199
now i’m not going to discuss maybe

0:04:37.840,0:04:41.199
that’ll be a little bit over time i’ll

0:04:39.199,0:04:44.479
discuss whether or not a site map

0:04:41.199,0:04:47.440
xml the one that search robots use to

0:04:44.479,0:04:48.000
you know browse your domain and then

0:04:47.440,0:04:50.639
gather

0:04:48.000,0:04:53.040
uniform resource locators otherwise

0:04:50.639,0:04:54.560
known as urls otherwise known as what i

0:04:53.040,0:04:55.680
just highlighted at the top of the

0:04:54.560,0:04:58.400
screen here

0:04:55.680,0:04:58.800
ain’t computers dot com slash wordpress

0:04:58.400,0:05:01.039
dash

0:04:58.800,0:05:02.639
five dash five dash site map dash

0:05:01.039,0:05:05.280
location that is a

0:05:02.639,0:05:06.400
url also known as a uniform resource

0:05:05.280,0:05:10.320
locator

0:05:06.400,0:05:11.759
that’s what search engines gather

0:05:10.320,0:05:13.520
and order and then they build big

0:05:11.759,0:05:14.080
databases and then you type in search

0:05:13.520,0:05:17.600
terms

0:05:14.080,0:05:19.919
and then you know boom it displays your

0:05:17.600,0:05:23.120
your link to your website and then you

0:05:19.919,0:05:25.840
land on the uniform resource locator

0:05:23.120,0:05:26.560
a here’s a tip you may want to also

0:05:25.840,0:05:28.880
include

0:05:26.560,0:05:30.000
a separate site map that you can build

0:05:28.880,0:05:33.039
manually

0:05:30.000,0:05:33.759
or with a plug-in for your viewers your

0:05:33.039,0:05:37.039
audience

0:05:33.759,0:05:40.160
somebody browses to ain’tcomputers.com

0:05:37.039,0:05:42.160
and they get the worst you know

0:05:40.160,0:05:43.360
information technology help on the

0:05:42.160,0:05:45.520
internet

0:05:43.360,0:05:46.479
as most of the haters and the trolls

0:05:45.520,0:05:49.680
view my me

0:05:46.479,0:05:49.680
probably possibly

0:05:50.320,0:05:54.320
that would allow them and i actually

0:05:52.320,0:05:56.080
have one right here

0:05:54.320,0:05:57.840
so that that’s a bonus tip but i’m not

0:05:56.080,0:06:01.039
going to talk about that in this video

0:05:57.840,0:06:01.039
but that is a bonus tip

0:06:01.759,0:06:04.800
it may or may not be good for search

0:06:03.520,0:06:06.800
engine optimization

0:06:04.800,0:06:07.840
but this is the other site map which i

0:06:06.800,0:06:11.440
am not talking about

0:06:07.840,0:06:12.800
again okay it just makes if if anybody’s

0:06:11.440,0:06:14.960
interested in your website

0:06:12.800,0:06:16.639
it shows all your posts it shows all

0:06:14.960,0:06:19.440
your pages and it may

0:06:16.639,0:06:20.080
be searching optimize beneficial okay

0:06:19.440,0:06:24.240
now let’s get

0:06:20.080,0:06:28.000
back to the site map that search engine

0:06:24.240,0:06:32.400
robots like bing and google use

0:06:28.000,0:06:35.440
to find out web pages from your website

0:06:32.400,0:06:36.319
so with wordpress 5.5 you they by

0:06:35.440,0:06:39.520
default

0:06:36.319,0:06:42.000
create a sitemap for you and i didn’t

0:06:39.520,0:06:43.919
know where the fuck was that

0:06:42.000,0:06:46.000
i found out about it because i read

0:06:43.919,0:06:48.560
through the new changes i always do that

0:06:46.000,0:06:49.680
well i try to especially the main

0:06:48.560,0:06:52.479
updates you know

0:06:49.680,0:06:52.880
wordpress five to five point one to five

0:06:52.479,0:06:55.840
point

0:06:52.880,0:06:56.800
two to five if it’s five point two point

0:06:55.840,0:06:59.759
one i don’t

0:06:56.800,0:07:01.039
neces i use two but i don’t as much or a

0:06:59.759,0:07:03.919
lot of times i do not

0:07:01.039,0:07:05.360
but this one i went through the new

0:07:03.919,0:07:08.960
features and i was like

0:07:05.360,0:07:11.280
oh they embedded

0:07:08.960,0:07:12.080
their own site map i was like well you

0:07:11.280,0:07:14.160
know what

0:07:12.080,0:07:15.360
i’ve been using a plug-in for like over

0:07:14.160,0:07:17.840
a decade

0:07:15.360,0:07:19.280
and i wonder how good it is and i i

0:07:17.840,0:07:20.240
wanted to see what it looked like but i

0:07:19.280,0:07:22.560
couldn’t find it

0:07:20.240,0:07:24.000
so this is what this video is about is

0:07:22.560,0:07:26.720
where is it located

0:07:24.000,0:07:29.520
now according to the wordpress official

0:07:26.720,0:07:32.720
core blog post pertaining to

0:07:29.520,0:07:33.919
the site map which will be in my blog

0:07:32.720,0:07:35.840
post so

0:07:33.919,0:07:37.759
some people learn in the abstract better

0:07:35.840,0:07:39.599
some people learn visually some people

0:07:37.759,0:07:41.840
learn both whatever

0:07:39.599,0:07:43.039
click on the link in the description box

0:07:41.840,0:07:44.840
of this youtube video

0:07:43.039,0:07:46.160
it’ll take you to my website

0:07:44.840,0:07:50.080
anikapeers.com

0:07:46.160,0:07:53.680
with my blog post about the wordpress 5

0:07:50.080,0:07:55.599
5.5 site map location and it’ll take you

0:07:53.680,0:07:56.840
to the official blog post for the

0:07:55.599,0:08:01.120
fucking

0:07:56.840,0:08:03.039
wordpress core or xml sitemap

0:08:01.120,0:08:04.560
plug it at one time it was a separate

0:08:03.039,0:08:06.080
plugin now

0:08:04.560,0:08:07.840
it’s not a separate plugin that that

0:08:06.080,0:08:09.520
could be also confusing

0:08:07.840,0:08:12.560
now it’s actually built into the

0:08:09.520,0:08:14.000
wordpress core some people don’t like it

0:08:12.560,0:08:16.160
i don’t really fucking care at this

0:08:14.000,0:08:19.120
point and

0:08:16.160,0:08:19.120
so whatever

0:08:19.440,0:08:25.520
according to the wordpress core

0:08:22.560,0:08:27.759
official blog post they claim that the

0:08:25.520,0:08:28.800
site map would be located in the root

0:08:27.759,0:08:32.880
directory of

0:08:28.800,0:08:36.479
your domain name and then it

0:08:32.880,0:08:39.519
the name would be site map dot xml

0:08:36.479,0:08:42.399
well it did not exist on my website and

0:08:39.519,0:08:44.880
i was like well where the fuck is it

0:08:42.399,0:08:46.480
now here is where it could be just me i

0:08:44.880,0:08:48.240
could be an idiot and a moron i’m not

0:08:46.480,0:08:49.920
perfect i’m not an expert i know the

0:08:48.240,0:08:51.680
youtube technology shills

0:08:49.920,0:08:54.080
that live in their castles and their

0:08:51.680,0:08:56.480
gated communities

0:08:54.080,0:08:58.320
while the rest of us are lucky that we

0:08:56.480,0:09:00.320
have jobs or we’re lucky that we’re

0:08:58.320,0:09:03.680
still self-employed

0:09:00.320,0:09:04.800
and you’re gonna see what you know what

0:09:03.680,0:09:06.800
there’s 30 million

0:09:04.800,0:09:08.640
unemployed people in america now because

0:09:06.800,0:09:10.320
of this alleged pandemic

0:09:08.640,0:09:12.640
and they’re not receiving any more

0:09:10.320,0:09:14.399
emergency

0:09:12.640,0:09:16.399
unemployment from the federal government

0:09:14.399,0:09:19.600
because that expired and

0:09:16.399,0:09:22.560
the landlord

0:09:19.600,0:09:25.440
eviction moratorium that also expired so

0:09:22.560,0:09:27.839
you’re gonna see a lot of problems

0:09:25.440,0:09:30.000
in the next couple days weeks months

0:09:27.839,0:09:32.320
years possibly

0:09:30.000,0:09:32.320
all right

0:09:34.720,0:09:40.320
i’m thinking that possibly because i

0:09:37.839,0:09:43.839
think when i upgraded my website

0:09:40.320,0:09:46.720
to wordpress 5.5 i still

0:09:43.839,0:09:48.640
had i think i fucked up i meant to

0:09:46.720,0:09:51.279
disable it

0:09:48.640,0:09:51.839
and i did not that’s what i’m thinking

0:09:51.279,0:09:55.120
so

0:09:51.839,0:09:57.120
it should be located at your domain name

0:09:55.120,0:10:00.480
and i have an example here

0:09:57.120,0:10:04.480
so here’s an example

0:10:00.480,0:10:06.640
of where it

0:10:04.480,0:10:08.720
should be located now this is just an

0:10:06.640,0:10:10.320
example domain name i don’t know if

0:10:08.720,0:10:13.120
anybody has created the

0:10:10.320,0:10:14.640
website government sucks.com if they do

0:10:13.120,0:10:16.240
i would that’d be great

0:10:14.640,0:10:18.000
that would be one of my favorite

0:10:16.240,0:10:21.519
websites ever

0:10:18.000,0:10:23.360
government sucks.com slash sitemap.xml

0:10:21.519,0:10:25.680
that’s according to this official blog

0:10:23.360,0:10:29.600
post that i will show you really quick

0:10:25.680,0:10:33.839
and it show and it stipulates right here

0:10:29.600,0:10:33.839
it says here

0:10:37.040,0:10:40.240
here we’ll just search for it

0:10:44.079,0:10:48.160
it says right here by default the plugin

0:10:47.120,0:10:51.279
creates a sitemap

0:10:48.160,0:10:54.240
index at slash sitemap.xml

0:10:51.279,0:10:55.440
well it did not exist so i thought that

0:10:54.240,0:10:57.120
you know

0:10:55.440,0:10:59.279
they’re trying to pull a fast one now

0:10:57.120,0:11:00.720
this blog post i think may have been

0:10:59.279,0:11:02.959
written before

0:11:00.720,0:11:03.839
5.5 was released and it may have

0:11:02.959,0:11:05.920
referenced the

0:11:03.839,0:11:07.600
the old sitemap plug-in that that

0:11:05.920,0:11:08.079
doesn’t it still exists but you don’t

0:11:07.600,0:11:11.760
need it

0:11:08.079,0:11:15.920
because now with wordpress 5.5 core it’s

0:11:11.760,0:11:19.360
it’s built into wordpress okay

0:11:15.920,0:11:20.800
so then i’ll then i upgraded an another

0:11:19.360,0:11:23.200
one of my websites

0:11:20.800,0:11:25.600
which i will not disclose because of the

0:11:23.200,0:11:29.360
youtube trolls

0:11:25.600,0:11:31.560
and i tried to go to you know

0:11:29.360,0:11:32.720
you know government sucks dot com slash

0:11:31.560,0:11:36.079
sitemap.xml

0:11:32.720,0:11:39.600
it did not exist well then i

0:11:36.079,0:11:44.120
i think i i found it on somebody else’s

0:11:39.600,0:11:47.200
another plugin and they mentioned wp

0:11:44.120,0:11:47.839
sitemap.xml i was like well what the

0:11:47.200,0:11:49.680
fuck

0:11:47.839,0:11:52.160
sometimes you have to you have to just

0:11:49.680,0:11:54.959
that’s just how the internet works

0:11:52.160,0:11:55.920
and sure enough it existed so government

0:11:54.959,0:11:59.839
dot com

0:11:55.920,0:12:02.560
and then slash wp

0:11:59.839,0:12:04.000
minus sign or dash sitemap.xml in it and

0:12:02.560,0:12:06.880
it existed

0:12:04.000,0:12:08.079
so here is i don’t know if it’s a fact

0:12:06.880,0:12:10.560
but i think this is

0:12:08.079,0:12:11.760
maybe what has happened or maybe it’s

0:12:10.560,0:12:14.399
you know what i’m saying

0:12:11.760,0:12:15.600
i think possibly because they know that

0:12:14.399,0:12:16.800
there are plugins

0:12:15.600,0:12:18.560
out there already that will

0:12:16.800,0:12:19.920
automatically create a government

0:12:18.560,0:12:23.920
sucks.com

0:12:19.920,0:12:25.680
slash sitemap.xml file which the plugin

0:12:23.920,0:12:26.560
that i had been using for like at least

0:12:25.680,0:12:30.000
10 years

0:12:26.560,0:12:32.000
it did create that file i disabled it

0:12:30.000,0:12:33.360
and once you disable it that sitemap no

0:12:32.000,0:12:36.560
longer exists

0:12:33.360,0:12:39.680
well my logic tells me that they either

0:12:36.560,0:12:40.480
you know may have in the script it may

0:12:39.680,0:12:44.240
actually

0:12:40.480,0:12:47.839
create wp dash sitemap.xml

0:12:44.240,0:12:50.000
if you’re if the plugin is enabled or

0:12:47.839,0:12:51.440
maybe by default or you know what i’m

0:12:50.000,0:12:53.279
saying that’s what i’m thinking

0:12:51.440,0:12:55.360
because i think i still had it enabled

0:12:53.279,0:12:58.800
even though i i

0:12:55.360,0:12:58.800
told myself to disable it

0:12:58.959,0:13:02.560
so that’s it that’s the location right

0:13:00.959,0:13:06.160
there it’s either

0:13:02.560,0:13:08.160
it could be it could be sitemap.xml2

0:13:06.160,0:13:09.680
it may actually create it it could have

0:13:08.160,0:13:10.320
been because i already had a plug-in

0:13:09.680,0:13:12.560
that had

0:13:10.320,0:13:13.600
already created it and so it then

0:13:12.560,0:13:15.519
renamed it

0:13:13.600,0:13:17.120
i just don’t know because i don’t have a

0:13:15.519,0:13:19.279
website

0:13:17.120,0:13:21.200
that did not have that plug-in enabled

0:13:19.279,0:13:23.920
you know what i’m saying

0:13:21.200,0:13:23.920
and so

0:13:24.320,0:13:28.639
here is where the location could be it

0:13:26.320,0:13:31.920
could be government sucks.com

0:13:28.639,0:13:37.279
for slash sitemap.xml

0:13:31.920,0:13:40.399
or wp dash sitemap.xml

0:13:37.279,0:13:42.560
that’s where it should be located and i

0:13:40.399,0:13:45.680
can even show you on this website

0:13:42.560,0:13:47.440
where it’s located and then i’m done

0:13:45.680,0:13:48.959
the rest is overtime you can leave you

0:13:47.440,0:13:49.600
probably probably are i don’t give a

0:13:48.959,0:13:50.880
fuck

0:13:49.600,0:13:52.720
you probably already left alright i

0:13:50.880,0:13:55.519
don’t give a shit

0:13:52.720,0:13:56.399
i never ever record videos for my

0:13:55.519,0:13:58.720
subscribers

0:13:56.399,0:13:58.720
never

0:13:59.600,0:14:04.240
i record videos to try to help people oh

0:14:02.639,0:14:05.199
that’s right the youtube technology

0:14:04.240,0:14:07.680
shills

0:14:05.199,0:14:08.800
they sell coffee mugs and peanuts and

0:14:07.680,0:14:11.839
popcorn

0:14:08.800,0:14:14.720
and tickets as they complain

0:14:11.839,0:14:16.399
about how bad youtube is to them even

0:14:14.720,0:14:19.199
though they live in gated communities

0:14:16.399,0:14:19.920
and while the rest of us you know the

0:14:19.199,0:14:23.519
irony

0:14:19.920,0:14:25.519
the irony the irony the irony of it all

0:14:23.519,0:14:27.519
those that live privileged lives you

0:14:25.519,0:14:27.920
notice yell and scream the most about

0:14:27.519,0:14:31.360
how

0:14:27.920,0:14:33.120
you know they’re being oppressed jesus

0:14:31.360,0:14:36.959
fucking christ

0:14:33.120,0:14:37.839
all right so i’m going to show you that

0:14:36.959,0:14:41.040
indeed and it

0:14:37.839,0:14:44.160
exists it’s not a conspiracy you know

0:14:41.040,0:14:47.120
theory or anything which which

0:14:44.160,0:14:49.279
actually conspiracies do exist though

0:14:47.120,0:14:52.079
they do

0:14:49.279,0:14:54.320
but not everything is a conspiracy but

0:14:52.079,0:14:56.800
yes conspiracies do exist

0:14:54.320,0:14:58.160
if you talk about them you get censored

0:14:56.800,0:15:00.000
off of youtube though

0:14:58.160,0:15:01.360
if you tell the truth on youtube you get

0:15:00.000,0:15:05.440
terminated at midnight

0:15:01.360,0:15:09.440
or earlier wp

0:15:05.440,0:15:13.839
dash site map i’m going to show you my

0:15:09.440,0:15:13.839
site map

0:15:14.399,0:15:21.279
there it is look see

0:15:17.680,0:15:24.320
it exists this is the new

0:15:21.279,0:15:28.079
site map for search engines only

0:15:24.320,0:15:32.160
bing google et cetera that is

0:15:28.079,0:15:35.360
built into the wordpress 5.5 core look

0:15:32.160,0:15:36.800
and you know not i don’t want to go any

0:15:35.360,0:15:39.440
further because this is just

0:15:36.800,0:15:40.639
you know technical but this link on the

0:15:39.440,0:15:44.160
top wp

0:15:40.639,0:15:46.720
site map dash posts dash post one

0:15:44.160,0:15:47.440
this is where all your wordpress posts

0:15:46.720,0:15:51.199
are

0:15:47.440,0:15:55.839
listed look 919.

0:15:51.199,0:15:55.839
i have written 919 blog posts

0:15:56.399,0:16:02.560
it works it works great look

0:15:59.920,0:16:03.360
i’m happy with it this is only for

0:16:02.560,0:16:05.360
search engines

0:16:03.360,0:16:06.720
this xml sitemap is generated by

0:16:05.360,0:16:08.800
wordpress to make your content more

0:16:06.720,0:16:11.759
visible for search engines

0:16:08.800,0:16:12.720
that’s all it is and you know what i’ve

0:16:11.759,0:16:15.680
done

0:16:12.720,0:16:18.240
on all of my websites i went ahead and

0:16:15.680,0:16:22.480
upgraded to 5.5 wordpress

0:16:18.240,0:16:24.800
and i went ahead and disabled and

0:16:22.480,0:16:26.320
removed that plug-in that i’ve been

0:16:24.800,0:16:28.639
using for over 10 years

0:16:26.320,0:16:31.040
to build a site map for search engines

0:16:28.639,0:16:34.000
that’s how much i like it

0:16:31.040,0:16:36.079
because it’s it’s you know it’s

0:16:34.000,0:16:39.839
self-explanatory it does the job

0:16:36.079,0:16:39.839
i mean it works

0:16:40.160,0:16:45.519
there see so it saves me

0:16:43.519,0:16:47.279
resources actually because now i don’t

0:16:45.519,0:16:49.040
have to have an additional plug-in now

0:16:47.279,0:16:50.079
you could manually build one but you

0:16:49.040,0:16:51.519
know

0:16:50.079,0:16:53.279
that can take a lot you could probably

0:16:51.519,0:16:55.360
script it but i don’t want to go off

0:16:53.279,0:16:57.519
into that

0:16:55.360,0:16:59.680
all right so that’s it it actually works

0:16:57.519,0:17:01.519
anything else

0:16:59.680,0:17:03.040
i have all the details and oh here’s

0:17:01.519,0:17:06.160
some additional tips

0:17:03.040,0:17:08.160
now i found the site map

0:17:06.160,0:17:10.319
i think on another blog post that was

0:17:08.160,0:17:12.799
written but then i also double checked

0:17:10.319,0:17:15.439
it by looking at my robots.txt

0:17:12.799,0:17:18.640
so this is completely over time i don’t

0:17:15.439,0:17:21.839
know why i’m talking about this but

0:17:18.640,0:17:22.240
you know what i’m saying a robots.txt

0:17:21.839,0:17:25.280
file

0:17:22.240,0:17:28.720
is just a text file hence the extension

0:17:25.280,0:17:29.200
that tells search engine robots like

0:17:28.720,0:17:33.679
bing

0:17:29.200,0:17:35.360
and google and ad nauseam at infinite

0:17:33.679,0:17:37.280
and i’m sure the youtube technology

0:17:35.360,0:17:38.240
shields they have robots that scour the

0:17:37.280,0:17:41.280
internet

0:17:38.240,0:17:43.280
as they complain about how

0:17:41.280,0:17:45.039
terribly treated they are by youtube at

0:17:43.280,0:17:47.840
the same time that they live in gated

0:17:45.039,0:17:47.840
communities

0:17:50.720,0:17:54.960
it’s just it it tells the robots what to

0:17:54.320,0:17:57.360
do or

0:17:54.960,0:17:58.960
it tells them what directory is allowed

0:17:57.360,0:18:01.520
it tells them what directory

0:17:58.960,0:18:02.240
is not allowed and and another thing you

0:18:01.520,0:18:06.880
can include

0:18:02.240,0:18:06.880
is the sitemap declaration

0:18:07.280,0:18:12.000
so that’s another and then that’s how i

0:18:09.280,0:18:14.240
found out i died i verified it

0:18:12.000,0:18:16.720
on another website that i will not

0:18:14.240,0:18:16.720
discuss

0:18:17.039,0:18:20.240
it was similar to government sucks.com

0:18:19.200,0:18:21.760
but it was not

0:18:20.240,0:18:23.520
you know i don’t think that domain

0:18:21.760,0:18:25.840
exists not yet hopefully somebody will

0:18:23.520,0:18:25.840
create

0:18:26.320,0:18:31.440
and youtube probably will not allow any

0:18:28.720,0:18:33.280
videos you know uploaded

0:18:31.440,0:18:34.720
you know what i’m saying youtube they

0:18:33.280,0:18:37.120
kiss the government’s ass what are you

0:18:34.720,0:18:37.120
talking about

0:18:37.360,0:18:41.200
susan wojcik is a big commie all right

0:18:39.520,0:18:42.960
all right i better stop otherwise i’ll

0:18:41.200,0:18:46.720
get censored

0:18:42.960,0:18:47.120
all right so wp-sitemap.xml i found it

0:18:46.720,0:18:50.240
and

0:18:47.120,0:18:51.440
and i fixed all three of my robot.txt

0:18:50.240,0:18:53.360
files on all my

0:18:51.440,0:18:55.360
websites or actually on all my websites

0:18:53.360,0:18:59.120
not just three

0:18:55.360,0:19:01.919
okay now some people

0:18:59.120,0:19:03.039
think that you don’t need a sitemap.xml

0:19:01.919,0:19:05.200
for robots

0:19:03.039,0:19:06.080
i’m not sure i’m old school i’ve always

0:19:05.200,0:19:08.160
used one

0:19:06.080,0:19:10.240
i’ve just gotten to the habit you could

0:19:08.160,0:19:13.120
test it you could test on

0:19:10.240,0:19:14.000
a website that you already run run

0:19:13.120,0:19:16.880
administrate

0:19:14.000,0:19:18.720
now and see the differences you could

0:19:16.880,0:19:19.600
test the website how much traffic you

0:19:18.720,0:19:22.440
receive

0:19:19.600,0:19:25.840
without a sitemap.xml without a

0:19:22.440,0:19:30.240
robots.txt file

0:19:25.840,0:19:33.600
declaration with the sitemap you just

0:19:30.240,0:19:35.280
sitemap with a capital s colon space and

0:19:33.600,0:19:39.280
then you tell them where the sitemap is

0:19:35.280,0:19:42.640
located take that out

0:19:39.280,0:19:43.760
i don’t know supposedly google and maybe

0:19:42.640,0:19:45.919
bing and i don’t know

0:19:43.760,0:19:48.240
quite a few them they will automatically

0:19:45.919,0:19:49.840
find your website however

0:19:48.240,0:19:52.480
there’s a lot of complaints on the

0:19:49.840,0:19:54.720
internet when you have people that are

0:19:52.480,0:19:56.640
trying to become affiliate marketers

0:19:54.720,0:19:58.960
and they claim that their fucking

0:19:56.640,0:20:02.080
website isn’t receiving any traffic

0:19:58.960,0:20:03.520
even though they used and this is

0:20:02.080,0:20:06.720
another part of overtime

0:20:03.520,0:20:08.720
the google webmasters tool and declared

0:20:06.720,0:20:10.159
the site map there and they still

0:20:08.720,0:20:12.480
weren’t getting traffic

0:20:10.159,0:20:13.200
so it’s up to you and then i’ll give you

0:20:12.480,0:20:15.520
a warning

0:20:13.200,0:20:16.960
you may not want to make any major

0:20:15.520,0:20:19.919
changes

0:20:16.960,0:20:20.880
to certain features like a sitemap that

0:20:19.919,0:20:24.400
xml

0:20:20.880,0:20:25.280
or a robots.txt file or a dot htaccess

0:20:24.400,0:20:27.120
file

0:20:25.280,0:20:28.400
if you’re if if you’re worried about

0:20:27.120,0:20:31.520
traffic

0:20:28.400,0:20:32.240
if you rely on your website for you know

0:20:31.520,0:20:34.240
income

0:20:32.240,0:20:36.919
you may not want to go around fucking

0:20:34.240,0:20:40.400
around with the sitemap.xml

0:20:36.919,0:20:42.159
robots.txt declaration or

0:20:40.400,0:20:45.679
you know without you know thinking it

0:20:42.159,0:20:48.200
through or you may not want

0:20:45.679,0:20:50.080
you may not want to disable your

0:20:48.200,0:20:51.440
sitemap.xml plugin that you’ve been

0:20:50.080,0:20:54.799
using all these years

0:20:51.440,0:20:57.760
just yet i’m i’m satisfied

0:20:54.799,0:20:58.240
so here’s another bonus tip what you can

0:20:57.760,0:21:01.200
do

0:20:58.240,0:21:02.159
is you can go to your to bing also has a

0:21:01.200,0:21:05.440
feature but

0:21:02.159,0:21:06.159
google webmasters and i this is where i

0:21:05.440,0:21:10.159
need to

0:21:06.159,0:21:13.200
edit my blog post and add to it

0:21:10.159,0:21:15.520
i’m not going to go deep into it but the

0:21:13.200,0:21:16.880
google has what’s called google

0:21:15.520,0:21:20.159
webmasters

0:21:16.880,0:21:20.480
and what you do is you add your domain

0:21:20.159,0:21:22.799
name

0:21:20.480,0:21:24.559
government sucks dot com and then you

0:21:22.799,0:21:28.400
tell google

0:21:24.559,0:21:33.240
where your site map is located the exact

0:21:28.400,0:21:36.440
location government sucks dot com slash

0:21:33.240,0:21:40.320
sitemap.xml or slash wp

0:21:36.440,0:21:43.520
sitemap.xml and then google

0:21:40.320,0:21:46.720
they will browse that right away because

0:21:43.520,0:21:49.600
i know because all my websites now

0:21:46.720,0:21:50.760
i went ahead and changed it to the new

0:21:49.600,0:21:53.600
wordpress

0:21:50.760,0:21:55.520
sitemap.xml and

0:21:53.600,0:21:56.960
it it already found it and it already

0:21:55.520,0:22:00.080
browsed it and i already

0:21:56.960,0:22:01.760
listed i didn’t get well one

0:22:00.080,0:22:03.679
i think one website it was still working

0:22:01.760,0:22:06.640
on but

0:22:03.679,0:22:07.360
one other website it found all of them

0:22:06.640,0:22:10.400
and i and i

0:22:07.360,0:22:13.520
compared i compared how many blog posts

0:22:10.400,0:22:16.240
and how many pages i had on that website

0:22:13.520,0:22:18.080
and it matched up what google had found

0:22:16.240,0:22:21.200
in using google

0:22:18.080,0:22:24.240
webmaster tool okay

0:22:21.200,0:22:27.840
anything any other bonus tips that i can

0:22:24.240,0:22:27.840
go through

0:22:28.960,0:22:32.320
if you’re satisfied you may want to test

0:22:31.200,0:22:35.280
it like i said i’m not

0:22:32.320,0:22:36.559
here to cause problems i’m here to help

0:22:35.280,0:22:38.640
people

0:22:36.559,0:22:39.600
so you may want you know caveat emptor

0:22:38.640,0:22:43.039
you may not

0:22:39.600,0:22:45.600
want to do what i do and i when when i

0:22:43.039,0:22:47.360
if i can save resources by disabling a

0:22:45.600,0:22:50.159
plug-in

0:22:47.360,0:22:50.960
i will generally you want to shy away

0:22:50.159,0:22:54.000
from using

0:22:50.960,0:22:55.600
plugins on wordpress the more you

0:22:54.000,0:22:57.200
have the more problems you could have

0:22:55.600,0:23:00.720
all it takes is one plugin

0:22:57.200,0:23:02.960
this is a fact one plugin could be buggy

0:23:00.720,0:23:06.400
it could be slow and it’ll fuck up your

0:23:02.960,0:23:08.960
website and it’ll slow down your website

0:23:06.400,0:23:10.320
so i’m always looking now you can you

0:23:08.960,0:23:13.280
know program a lot of it

0:23:10.320,0:23:14.240
in which is what some people do but so

0:23:13.280,0:23:16.480
once in a while

0:23:14.240,0:23:18.000
in my case i have to i have to try to

0:23:16.480,0:23:20.159
find a plug-in

0:23:18.000,0:23:21.440
but if i can limit the amount of

0:23:20.159,0:23:23.200
plug-ins oh yes

0:23:21.440,0:23:24.880
so i was kind of happy that wordpress

0:23:23.200,0:23:25.760
decided to have their own built-in site

0:23:24.880,0:23:27.840
map

0:23:25.760,0:23:29.840
now i don’t debate i don’t argue i know

0:23:27.840,0:23:31.600
you goddamn fucking nationalistic

0:23:29.840,0:23:33.440
americans that’s all you do is argue

0:23:31.600,0:23:33.919
with each other the the left versus the

0:23:33.440,0:23:37.200
right

0:23:33.919,0:23:39.840
when it’s a pale skinned european

0:23:37.200,0:23:41.679
military dictatorship supremacy society

0:23:39.840,0:23:43.440
based on racism

0:23:41.679,0:23:44.720
you know what i’m saying i know you love

0:23:43.440,0:23:47.840
to argue i don’t

0:23:44.720,0:23:49.679
some people will say well you know

0:23:47.840,0:23:51.360
don’t ever use the sitemap sitemap.xml

0:23:49.679,0:23:52.799
well you don’t need to worry about it

0:23:51.360,0:23:54.799
google will take care of it it’ll find

0:23:52.799,0:23:56.320
your website anyways well you’re just

0:23:54.799,0:23:59.440
wasting resources however

0:23:56.320,0:24:01.760
you must know that some robots

0:23:59.440,0:24:04.159
some search robots they ignore the

0:24:01.760,0:24:06.400
robots.txt file did you know that

0:24:04.159,0:24:07.360
yeah i found that out some search engine

0:24:06.400,0:24:10.400
robots

0:24:07.360,0:24:12.159
they don’t heed your instructions you

0:24:10.400,0:24:14.000
tell the motherfucker what to do

0:24:12.159,0:24:16.159
and they ignore you they don’t follow

0:24:14.000,0:24:17.840
the robots.txt file which i include in

0:24:16.159,0:24:18.880
my blog post which is this is a simple

0:24:17.840,0:24:22.559
declaration

0:24:18.880,0:24:25.200
user agent call star disallow

0:24:22.559,0:24:25.919
and it tells you what directory to

0:24:25.200,0:24:27.679
disallow

0:24:25.919,0:24:29.200
allow it tells you what directory or

0:24:27.679,0:24:32.000
directories plural tool

0:24:29.200,0:24:32.640
to allow and then this one the site map

0:24:32.000,0:24:34.320
declaration

0:24:32.640,0:24:35.600
some fucking robots ignore that well

0:24:34.320,0:24:37.440
then what’s the point of having a

0:24:35.600,0:24:39.360
robot.txt file

0:24:37.440,0:24:41.200
i don’t know does google and bing do

0:24:39.360,0:24:43.679
they lie to you like they do a lot

0:24:41.200,0:24:44.880
and ignore your robots.txt file they may

0:24:43.679,0:24:46.799
or they may not

0:24:44.880,0:24:49.120
you may have to test that so that is

0:24:46.799,0:24:51.279
that’s another additional tip

0:24:49.120,0:24:53.039
and then but i don’t argue and i you

0:24:51.279,0:24:54.400
know it’s up to you

0:24:53.039,0:24:56.960
you could test it like i said you could

0:24:54.400,0:24:58.480
test it before on a brand new website or

0:24:56.960,0:25:00.559
or website that you already receive a

0:24:58.480,0:25:03.279
lot of traffic it’s up to you whether

0:25:00.559,0:25:06.480
you use a sitemap.xml for your

0:25:03.279,0:25:09.200
for your you know for search engines it

0:25:06.480,0:25:10.480
you know what i’m saying i’ve i’m just

0:25:09.200,0:25:12.720
old school i’ve always gotten

0:25:10.480,0:25:14.520
under the habit of having a goddamn

0:25:12.720,0:25:17.760
fucking x

0:25:14.520,0:25:18.480
sitemap.xml file and now wordpress has

0:25:17.760,0:25:23.520
it built in

0:25:18.480,0:25:23.520
anything else that i included uh

0:25:23.600,0:25:27.360
oh another before i run finally in some

0:25:26.080,0:25:30.720
well not summation but

0:25:27.360,0:25:35.840
in closing if if you’re not

0:25:30.720,0:25:35.840
familiar with maintaining a website

0:25:36.480,0:25:44.000
you know what you may want i don’t know

0:25:41.360,0:25:46.000
but if you’re interested in learning how

0:25:44.000,0:25:48.400
to maintain websites this might be

0:25:46.000,0:25:48.400
useful

0:25:48.640,0:25:53.840
if you’re confused about where the

0:25:50.200,0:25:53.840
robots.txt file is

0:25:54.880,0:26:01.760
it’s in the root folder

0:25:58.400,0:26:05.840
of your domain so government sucks.com

0:26:01.760,0:26:08.960
slash robots.txt

0:26:05.840,0:26:12.640
now that is the domain name

0:26:08.960,0:26:14.880
that’s what the the real world sees

0:26:12.640,0:26:15.919
on the server it’s not that that

0:26:14.880,0:26:18.400
location

0:26:15.919,0:26:20.159
now it can depend on the type of web

0:26:18.400,0:26:21.200
server you’re using if you’re using

0:26:20.159,0:26:23.360
nginx

0:26:21.200,0:26:24.480
if you’re using apache if you’re using

0:26:23.360,0:26:27.200
something else

0:26:24.480,0:26:29.520
it may not be the exact folder that i

0:26:27.200,0:26:31.600
but i gave you an example

0:26:29.520,0:26:32.720
you want to go to the root folder of

0:26:31.600,0:26:35.360
your website

0:26:32.720,0:26:37.200
where wordpress is installed or if you

0:26:35.360,0:26:40.000
know what i’m saying

0:26:37.200,0:26:41.520
the root folder okay you should you

0:26:40.000,0:26:43.919
should know that where that is

0:26:41.520,0:26:45.120
if you’re gonna work on if you’re gonna

0:26:43.919,0:26:46.320
set up a website if you’re gonna

0:26:45.120,0:26:48.320
maintain your own website

0:26:46.320,0:26:49.600
if you’re gonna learn how to you know

0:26:48.320,0:26:52.559
administer a website

0:26:49.600,0:26:53.919
you better know at the very least what

0:26:52.559,0:26:56.000
the root folder is

0:26:53.919,0:26:57.520
that’s where all of the files are

0:26:56.000,0:27:00.000
located for your website

0:26:57.520,0:27:01.520
it could be a generic it could be hand

0:27:00.000,0:27:04.400
coded manual coded

0:27:01.520,0:27:05.520
html it could be wordpress it could be

0:27:04.400,0:27:08.080
joomla it could be

0:27:05.520,0:27:09.760
what’s the other one drew paul i almost

0:27:08.080,0:27:10.640
switched my websites to drew paul but

0:27:09.760,0:27:13.039
that mother

0:27:10.640,0:27:16.000
drew paul holy fuck man and i don’t want

0:27:13.039,0:27:18.720
to talk about drew paul

0:27:16.000,0:27:18.720
you know what i’m saying

0:27:19.679,0:27:23.200
this is an example slash home slash user

0:27:22.720,0:27:28.880
slash

0:27:23.200,0:27:31.200
public underscore html slash robots.txt

0:27:28.880,0:27:32.640
that is an example where the robots.txt

0:27:31.200,0:27:36.399
file is located

0:27:32.640,0:27:38.960
on the server when you log in via

0:27:36.399,0:27:39.520
secure shell like ssh through a command

0:27:38.960,0:27:41.039
line

0:27:39.520,0:27:43.120
you know i’m saying that’s where it

0:27:41.039,0:27:44.000
would be located you can manually edit

0:27:43.120,0:27:47.279
it

0:27:44.000,0:27:49.440
and you can learn what veri variables to

0:27:47.279,0:27:50.399
include in your robust text file but

0:27:49.440,0:27:54.640
like i said

0:27:50.399,0:27:54.640
i know that some robots ignore it

0:27:55.120,0:28:01.760
ah don’t you just love

0:27:58.559,0:28:03.760
the internet don’t you just love

0:28:01.760,0:28:05.360
government

0:28:03.760,0:28:07.679
i would love somebody to create

0:28:05.360,0:28:10.000
government sucks.com

0:28:07.679,0:28:12.480
that would possibly be my favorite

0:28:10.000,0:28:12.480
website

0:28:14.760,0:28:17.760
adios

Windows 10 – Network Path Was Not Found 08×80070035 Possible Fix

Another Microsoft corporation problem. This time you may receive this Windows 10 – Network Path Was Not Found 08×80070035 error message when attempting to connect to a local area network connection share. This is more verbatim the actual network error.

Windows cannot access “the target machine name” Check the spelling of the name. Otherwise there might be a problem with your network. To try to identify and resolve network problems, click diagnose.

When you click “Diagnose” you will see the following:

Error code: 0x80070035

The network path was not found.

If you attempt to connect to your target computer’s share via the Internet Protocol address instead, then you will be able to browse it successfully. For example you would try to access your network share by entering in the Internet Protocol address and share name like this example:

\\10.0.0.1\share

First you want to obviously make sure that you are trying to connect to the correct target machine and share name, like this example:

\\D620\USER

Also, you can try to ping your target computer via this command:

ping D620

If you did indeed enter in the correct machine name and share, then you will want to verify that two services are running on your Microsoft Windows computer. You will want to verify that the Computer Browser Service is enabled and running. You will want to enter the “Services” tool on your Microsoft Windows computer.

Also, you will want to verify and or turn on NETBIOS Network Basic Input Output System over TCP/IP Transmission Control Protocol Internet Protocol. You will want to perform this step on both of your computers. Your source and your target computer.

If the following troubleshooting tips did not fix your problem, you can reset the Microsoft Windows winsock. First, you want to document your computer’s Internet Protocol address, subnet mask, default gateway, and DNS Domain Name System settings. Type this command into a Microsoft Windows command prompt:

C:\>ipconfig /all

Now you can type in the resulting information or screen capture it. You will want to save this ipconfig /all command information in case you have to reconfigure your network settings because of a static ip address, etc. Now you will enter in the following two commands into a Microsoft Windows command prompt.

netsh winsock reset

netsh int ip reset c:tempresetlog.txt

You can go ahead and restart your computer. Hopefully, now you are able to browse local network computers and their shares. If your computer had a static Internet Protocol address configured, you will want to configure your static Internet Protocol address again.

The netsh winsock reset command actually resets your network settings to default, which is configured for DHCP Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol. These instructions were written for a source computer with Microsoft Windows 10 operating system installed, trying to connect to a target computer with Microsoft Windows XP professional operating system. However, you can certainly use these instructions and tips for other Microsoft Windows operating systems ie. Microsoft Windows Vista, Microsoft Windows 7, and Microsoft Windows 8.

okay temperature I want to make this

0:00:02.520,0:00:05.609
video

0:00:03.240,0:00:07.980
pertaining to networking with Windows 10

0:00:05.609,0:00:09.840
I was trying to access a Windows XP

0:00:07.980,0:00:13.040
machine so I could share files back and

0:00:09.840,0:00:16.170
forth using file and printer sharing I

0:00:13.040,0:00:18.960
could not now I can but earlier I cannot

0:00:16.170,0:00:21.060
browse this d620 computer which is

0:00:18.960,0:00:23.699
running Windows XP and I was getting

0:00:21.060,0:00:25.920
this error windows cannot access blah

0:00:23.699,0:00:28.560
blah blah and here’s the error code it’s

0:00:25.920,0:00:32.910
eight zero zero seven zero zero three

0:00:28.560,0:00:35.579
five here’s how I rectified this I use

0:00:32.910,0:00:37.649
this article and I will include a link

0:00:35.579,0:00:39.899
to this article in this YouTube video

0:00:37.649,0:00:41.850
description in case you’re getting the

0:00:39.899,0:00:43.680
same error and then you can follow these

0:00:41.850,0:00:45.719
quick steps first you want to make sure

0:00:43.680,0:00:50.610
that the computer browser or service is

0:00:45.719,0:00:54.899
running Windows 10 right click control

0:00:50.610,0:01:01.109
panel system and security Administrative

0:00:54.899,0:01:01.559
Tools services computer browser right

0:01:01.109,0:01:04.170
here

0:01:01.559,0:01:06.540
mine was set to manual but it was

0:01:04.170,0:01:09.210
running I set it to automatic just so

0:01:06.540,0:01:10.710
that I’m certain that whenever you boot

0:01:09.210,0:01:15.200
this computer it would automatically

0:01:10.710,0:01:19.549
start cancel out of there close that

0:01:15.200,0:01:26.340
close that then you want to make sure

0:01:19.549,0:01:29.780
that tcp/ip over NetBIOS is enabled

0:01:26.340,0:01:32.700
NetBIOS over tcp/ip on both machines

0:01:29.780,0:01:34.200
actually on both machines they were set

0:01:32.700,0:01:40.200
to this other default setting which I

0:01:34.200,0:01:42.450
will show you now this is Windows 10 we

0:01:40.200,0:01:45.119
can go back to control panel home go to

0:01:42.450,0:01:48.930
network and internet go to network and

0:01:45.119,0:01:50.420
sharing center then I am on your network

0:01:48.930,0:01:52.770
the one that you’re connected to

0:01:50.420,0:01:56.280
selected it could be Y file it could be

0:01:52.770,0:02:02.220
land just select it then go into the

0:01:56.280,0:02:07.150
properties then for

0:02:02.220,0:02:10.420
tcp/ip version for not six but four go

0:02:07.150,0:02:14.020
into the properties then go to advanced

0:02:10.420,0:02:16.330
then click on the lens tab this is the

0:02:14.020,0:02:19.690
setting that allowed me to then browse

0:02:16.330,0:02:23.980
my Windows XP machine from my Windows 10

0:02:19.690,0:02:25.600
machine I had sharing all set up I had

0:02:23.980,0:02:31.180
file and printer sharing in the expert

0:02:25.600,0:02:33.810
machine I had a folder shared before

0:02:31.180,0:02:36.640
every reason I could ping it by its

0:02:33.810,0:02:38.410
computer name and by IP address I

0:02:36.640,0:02:41.560
couldn’t map a network drive or I

0:02:38.410,0:02:46.569
couldn’t access it in the network tab of

0:02:41.560,0:02:48.730
Windows 10 you want to set this to the

0:02:46.569,0:02:51.700
second option enable NetBIOS over tcp/ip

0:02:48.730,0:02:55.799
it was set to the default setting which

0:02:51.700,0:02:58.630
will use NetBIOS firm your DHCP server

0:02:55.799,0:03:01.810
that could be your router or whatever

0:02:58.630,0:03:06.299
device that you use to give IP addresses

0:03:01.810,0:03:09.430
or you might not be using DHCP so I

0:03:06.299,0:03:12.190
changed it to the second one enabling

0:03:09.430,0:03:18.100
applies over tcp/ip click OK click OK

0:03:12.190,0:03:20.140
again click close click close now I can

0:03:18.100,0:03:22.510
click close here to now I want to show

0:03:20.140,0:03:24.760
you on my Windows XP machine it was set

0:03:22.510,0:03:30.780
to the same setting so you go into

0:03:24.760,0:03:30.780
control panel on Windows XP

0:03:32.930,0:03:41.430
go into network connections same thing

0:03:39.180,0:03:44.070
local connection or if it’s a Wi-Fi

0:03:41.430,0:03:47.690
connection right click it go to

0:03:44.070,0:03:55.230
properties go to the properties for

0:03:47.690,0:03:59.010
tcp/ip click advanced then go to the

0:03:55.230,0:04:00.540
same tab wins tab again even under

0:03:59.010,0:04:03.330
Windows XP machine they will set to

0:04:00.540,0:04:07.260
default which would use NetBIOS setting

0:04:03.330,0:04:09.690
from the DHCP server I changed it to the

0:04:07.260,0:04:12.660
second one just like on Windows 10 and

0:04:09.690,0:04:13.230
they will NetBIOS over tcp/ip I clicked

0:04:12.660,0:04:16.410
ok

0:04:13.230,0:04:19.380
I clicked ok again I click close that’s

0:04:16.410,0:04:21.540
going to hourglass close this window

0:04:19.380,0:04:23.760
I’ll just minimize my remote desktop

0:04:21.540,0:04:26.070
connection then almost immediately as I

0:04:23.760,0:04:28.430
did this is off screen but at the right

0:04:26.070,0:04:31.530
side of the micro show there’s a little

0:04:28.430,0:04:34.560
refresh network or you can use your f5

0:04:31.530,0:04:38.340
key I click that and then all of a

0:04:34.560,0:04:41.460
sudden the d620 which is my laptop

0:04:38.340,0:04:43.560
running Windows XP is showed up and now

0:04:41.460,0:04:45.090
it shows up in the network and I can

0:04:43.560,0:04:47.370
browse it like normal I don’t have to

0:04:45.090,0:04:51.630
necessarily map a network drive unless I

0:04:47.370,0:04:54.900
want to but I can browse it and look at

0:04:51.630,0:04:56.610
the files on there and also before it

0:04:54.900,0:04:58.620
wouldn’t show up I could still remote

0:04:56.610,0:05:00.750
desktop connection to it but it didn’t

0:04:58.620,0:05:03.560
show up so I could not map a network

0:05:00.750,0:05:07.380
drive and then obviously I couldn’t

0:05:03.560,0:05:09.479
browse it and then go to the shares that

0:05:07.380,0:05:11.720
I have set up and then access the file

0:05:09.479,0:05:14.460
so it was a big bummer

0:05:11.720,0:05:15.810
so hopefully this also resolves your

0:05:14.460,0:05:21.600
issue where you’re receiving the

0:05:15.810,0:05:23.640
specific error which is 0 X 8 0 0 7 0

0:05:21.600,0:05:26.850
through 5 the network path was not found

Covid 19 Stimulus Check Status – Online Tool

While I am not a fan of any type of government. I have begun to receive questions on this third party website where by I earn supplemental income answering computer and technology related questions pertaining to this alleged covid 19 coronavirus pandemic. One question I am now receiving is how do I perform a Covid 19 stimulus check status update.

The United States of America’s Internal Revenue Service actually has an online tool that you can use to check the status of your economic impact stimulus check or payment. You can check on the status of your impact payment check online via this Covid 19 stimulus check status online tool.

You will see the following warning message:

“THIS U.S. GOVERNMENT SYSTEM IS FOR AUTHORIZED USE ONLY!

Use of this system constitutes consent to monitoring, interception, recording, reading, copying or capturing by authorized personnel of all activities. There is no right to privacy in this system. Unauthorized use of this system is prohibited and subject to criminal and civil penalties, including all penalties applicable to willful unauthorized access (UNAX) or inspection of taxpayer records (under 18 U.S.C. 1030 and 26 U.S.C. 7213A and 26 U.S.C. 7431).”

You will want to click on the “OK” button. Then you will want to enter in your social security number or tax identification number, your birth date, your street address, and finally your zip code or postal code. Now you will want to click on the “Continue” button.

Continue with any remaining prompts. Get my payment is the only official United States of America government website to obtain your economic stimulus payment status. Also, there is a spanish version of this page by clicking on “Español”.

You will want to make sure that you enter in your social security number or tax identification number, your birth date, your street address, and finally your zip code or postal code correctly. If you do not you will get locked out of that tool after 3 failed attempts or after logging in with that tool 5 or more times in a 24 hour period. If you are locked out of this tool, you will want to wait 24 hours for your account in this system to automatically unlock.

The United States of America Internet Revenue Service requests that you do not call their customer service telephone number if you are indeed locked out. You will need to wait the 24 hours before your account becomes unlocked automatically. You may receive this error message when using this Covid 19 stimulus check status online tool:

Payment Status Not Available

This error could mean that you recently filed a tax return or non-filers tax return and your return has not been completely processed yet. Also, this error could indicate that you did not file a 2018 or 2019 tax return. You may receive errors when entering in your information to verify your identity.

You will want to verify that your address is entered in correctly. Also, you can verify that you are entering in your correct zip code or postal code address. You may receive an error when entering in your banking information.

You will want to make certain you enter in correct adjusted gross income, refund amount, or any amount you owe. This information should be entered in exactly as listed on your 1040 tax return form. If you enter in information from your 1040 2019 tax return, you can try entering in information from your 1040 2018 tax return instead and vice versa.

If you fail to enter in information correctly 3 straight times, you will become locked out of this Covid 19 stimulus check status online tool. The United States of America Internet Revenue Service requests that you do not call their customer service telephone number if you are indeed locked out. You will need to wait the 24 hours before your account becomes unlocked automatically.

and you’ll have to enter in some

0:01:25.040,0:01:29.280
this information

0:01:27.439,0:01:32.320
the this is confusing i think they could

0:01:29.280,0:01:34.479
have done a better job with the

0:01:32.320,0:01:35.439
call to action in the marketing it says

0:01:34.479,0:01:37.200
get my payment

0:01:35.439,0:01:39.200
you’re technically not going to receive

0:01:39.200,0:01:43.200
the only tool that the internal revenue

0:01:42.079,0:01:46.159
service has

0:01:43.200,0:01:48.000
so that you can check the status of your

0:01:46.159,0:01:51.759
stimulus payment

0:01:48.000,0:01:53.920
it’s the twelve hundred dollars that

0:01:51.759,0:01:56.159
i’m not a fan of government but i

0:01:53.920,0:01:59.840
realized during this alleged

0:01:56.159,0:02:01.600
virus pandemic that there’s a lot of

0:01:59.840,0:02:02.880
unemployed people now there’s even

0:02:01.600,0:02:05.920
there’s going to be

0:02:02.880,0:02:09.920
homeless people now because the 20 the

0:02:05.920,0:02:12.959
moratorium on the 25th where

0:02:09.920,0:02:16.239
landlords were not allowed to

0:02:12.959,0:02:18.160
evict tenants

0:02:16.239,0:02:20.840
is now expired so you’re going to see

0:02:18.160,0:02:23.520
homeless people you’re going to see more

0:02:20.840,0:02:26.000
unemployed this is the tool

0:02:23.520,0:02:26.560
you would have to have filed first this

0:02:26.000,0:02:29.680
is just

0:02:26.560,0:02:31.680
a tool that like to check your status

0:02:29.680,0:02:33.280
as a computer technician that earns

0:02:31.680,0:02:34.840
supplemental income on a third-party

0:02:33.280,0:02:38.720
website which i will never

0:02:34.840,0:02:41.200
discuss because of the youtube trolls

0:02:38.720,0:02:41.200
is

0:02:44.879,0:02:47.840
a different process

0:02:47.920,0:02:52.319
i’m starting to receive this question

0:02:50.400,0:02:53.680
how do i check my status for the

0:02:52.319,0:02:56.160
stimulus payment

0:02:53.680,0:02:57.040

make stimulus check whatever you want to

0:02:59.040,0:03:02.480

social security number or individual tax

0:03:05.760,0:03:10.480
identification number

0:03:07.200,0:03:12.560
that is if you have a business

0:03:10.480,0:03:14.000
it does have a question so you can find

0:03:12.560,0:03:15.200
out more details by clicking on the

0:03:14.000,0:03:18.400

0:03:21.760,0:03:26.879
and then your zip code or postal code

0:03:29.360,0:03:32.879
and then there’s a question box after e

0:07:00.639,0:07:03.919
you’ll get locked out 24 hours again

0:07:03.199,0:07:05.840

0:07:03.919,0:07:07.599
the internal revenue service customer

0:07:05.840,0:07:09.360
service number they won’t help you

0:07:07.599,0:07:10.880
they might yell at you they might hang

0:07:09.360,0:07:12.400
up they don’t want you to call them if

0:07:10.880,0:07:14.880
you get locked out of this tool

0:07:12.400,0:07:16.160
wait the 24 hours get past the first

0:07:14.880,0:07:19.039
screen

0:07:16.160,0:07:20.720
and then on your second screen try to

0:07:19.039,0:07:22.479
enter in the correct information

0:07:20.720,0:07:24.160
it’s going to ask your adjusted gross

0:07:22.479,0:07:27.199
system from either

0:07:24.160,0:07:30.880
your 2018 or 2019 tax return

0:07:27.199,0:07:32.880
your 10 40. if you

0:07:30.880,0:07:34.000
enter in your adjusted gross income from

0:07:32.880,0:07:37.039
your 2018

0:07:34.000,0:07:38.960
tax return and it errors out try it from

0:07:37.039,0:07:42.960
your 2019 return

0:07:38.960,0:07:46.479
instead your 1040 and vice versa

0:07:42.960,0:07:51.120
what else yes

0:07:46.479,0:07:54.400
now another tip and then i’m gonna run

0:07:51.120,0:07:54.400
as i take some green tea

0:07:57.759,0:08:00.960
you are allowed to use this tool five

0:08:00.160,0:08:04.960
times

0:08:00.960,0:08:06.479
i think in one day in 24 hours

0:08:04.960,0:08:07.840
i don’t know why that is because you

0:08:06.479,0:08:09.120
should just check it once and that

0:08:07.840,0:08:11.599
should be enough

0:08:09.120,0:08:14.560
so you’re checking the status of your

0:08:11.599,0:08:16.879
economic stimulus payment

0:08:14.560,0:08:18.319
it’s not it it’s the twelve hundred

0:08:16.879,0:08:20.960
dollar payment

0:08:18.319,0:08:22.560
it is not now you do have to file

0:08:20.960,0:08:26.560
there’s two ways quickly

0:08:22.560,0:08:29.599
you file your tax return

this tool allows you to check the status

Windows 10 – Not Detecting Your CD DVD Drive Potential Solution

Is your Microsoft Windows 10 computer operating system not detecting your compact disk and or digital video disk drive? Amazingly enough Microsoft Corporation after decades still cannot design a computer operating system that can actually detect a compact disk and or digital video disk. Anyways, this potential solution might allow your Microsoft Windows 10 computer to finally detect your optical drive(s).

You will need to have access to your Microsoft Windows 10 administrator account and password. To open a command prompt with administrator rights in Microsoft Windows 10 operating system, you can right click the Microsoft Windows 10 start menu button in lower left hand corner.

Then choose command prompt with administrator rights if listed. If it is not listed, you can type in “command prompt” without quotes into a Microsoft Windows 10 cortana search box. Now you want to right click command prompt icon and choose “Run as administrator” or choose this from a list of other options.

In a command line you will want to type this command verbatim:

reg.exe add “HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\atapi\Controller0” /f /v EnumDevice1 /t REG_DWORD /d 0x00000001

Also, you can copy and paste that command above that is bolded into your command prompt with administrator rights. Then hit your enter key. You should receive a “The operation completed successfully” message in your command prompt.

If you did, then you can exit out of the command prompt by typing in “exit” and then hit enter or close the command prompt window via the x in the upper right hand corner. Now you will want to restart Microsoft Windows 10 operating system. Hopefully now your compact disc or digitial video disc drive is detected.

If you receive any error messages then make sure that you are running that a fore mentioned command with administrator rights. Also, you could search the error message you are receiving into a search engine similar to Bing or Google to find some assistance.

0:00:19.410,0:00:26.689
can easily detect a cd/dvd drive that

0:00:22.320,0:00:29.880
Windows 10 has a problema with it I

0:00:26.689,0:00:31.769
ironically I found this article from

0:00:29.880,0:00:35.820
Microsoft that actually fixed my issue

0:00:31.769,0:00:39.000
and this was with a full version an

0:00:35.820,0:00:41.540
upgrade I was running Windows 7 detected

0:00:39.000,0:00:46.110
my a cd/dvd drive work just fine then I

0:00:41.540,0:00:48.239
ran the Windows 10 upgrade then when

0:00:46.110,0:00:52.530
that completed it would not detect my

0:01:13.200,0:01:17.400
the resolution solution you might give

0:01:16.830,0:01:19.350
this a try

0:01:17.400,0:01:21.180
run the command prompt as an

0:01:19.350,0:01:22.770
administrator so you would right click

0:01:21.180,0:01:28.530
the windows icon in the lower left

0:01:22.770,0:01:31.110
corner and then you will see a list and

0:01:28.530,0:01:35.689
you will see command prompt and then

0:01:31.110,0:01:38.520
admin select the admin and then say yes

0:01:35.689,0:01:41.210
then you copy and paste this command

0:01:38.520,0:01:44.100
which I will copy and paste for you

0:01:41.210,0:01:46.829
select and then copy and then I have an

0:01:44.100,0:01:51.689
administrator command prompt open just

0:01:46.829,0:01:53.670
select paste hit enter and then you want

0:01:51.689,0:01:56.610
to make sure that you see the operation

0:01:53.670,0:01:58.680
complete a successfully message and then

0:01:56.610,0:02:01.829
it will go back to a command prompt so

0:01:58.680,0:02:04.200
that worked then you want to reboot your

0:02:01.829,0:02:09.500
Windows 10 machine and it should detect

0:02:04.200,0:02:09.500
your DVD CD drive successfully now

0:02:11.489,0:02:17.349
for whatever reason when upgrading to

0:02:15.010,0:02:20.099
Windows 10 and I you I didn’t use a

0:02:17.349,0:02:23.080
preview version I used their full

0:02:20.099,0:02:26.220
upgrade version you’re running Windows 7

0:02:23.080,0:02:32.680
and then you get that little icon

0:02:26.220,0:02:35.380
annoyance perhaps begging you to upgrade

0:02:32.680,0:02:40.420
to Windows 10 which is now no longer

0:02:35.380,0:02:41.440
free and so I ran the upgrade it ran

0:02:40.420,0:02:46.900
successfully

0:02:41.440,0:02:48.310
but then my cd/dvd drive no bueno muy

0:02:46.900,0:02:50.620
mall no longer worked

0:02:48.310,0:02:53.069

Virtualbox Installation on Linux – MX Linux 19.1

Virtualbox installation on Linux is quite easy. You can install this free software from Oracle on most Linux distributions. This quick tutorial will cover how to install Virtualbox on MX Linux 19.1 on a command line via a terminal application.

You will want to log in with your root account credentials. Then type in this following command:

apt-get install virtualbox

You will be asked if you want to install virtualbox along with these additional software packges.

  • libgsoap-2.8.75
  • libvncserver1
  • virtualbox-dkms
  • virtualbox-guest-additions-iso
  • virtualbox
  • virtualbox-qt

Then you just type y for yes. Now you can sit back and relax while virtualbox downloads and installs. You do not need to add any additional repository to install Oracle virtualbox on MX Linux 19.1.

Eventually, 4 virtualbox processes will attempt to start. If any of these 4 processes fail, then it is possible that either virtualization is not enabled in your computer’s basic input output system or that your computer’s microprocessor does not support virtualization. If all four processes start with a green OK response, then you are all completed with virtualbox installation on Linux.

Now you just browse to “Accessories” and then scroll down that list until you see virtualbox. The graphical user interface should open up. These instructions were written for a computer with MX Linux 19.1 operating system installed.

Also, MX Linux is a Debian derivation Linux distribution. You could use these instructions for other Debian based operating systems. However, you may or may not need to add a repository, in order for it to become available for install.

You can also install virtualbox via the MX Package Installer tool. You would just look for virtualbox and then click on install. I almost never install software on Linux via a package manager unless I need to install non-standard software.

The command line way of install software with apt is so easy that why bother. However, it can be performed this way. One final tip.

If you run into problems installing virtualbox, make sure that your microprocessor supports virtualization and or is enabled in the computer basic input output system. Now you can install a myriad of different operating systems in your virtual machine environment. No more dual booting and or partitioning hard drive space for your operating systems.

all righty let’s cut to the chase

0:00:04.720,0:00:12.080
so i’ve been wanting to install

0:00:09.040,0:00:13.920
oracle’s virtualbox for a while now but

0:00:12.080,0:00:16.760
i had a quad-core computer believe it or

0:00:13.920,0:00:19.439
not that the processor did not support

0:00:16.760,0:00:21.039
virtualization so you’ll have to stick

0:00:19.439,0:00:22.960
around during my video where i give you

0:00:21.039,0:00:24.800
some tips to save you time

0:00:22.960,0:00:27.359
to make sure that you have the you know

0:00:24.800,0:00:28.640
the right type of computer that supports

0:00:27.359,0:00:30.160
virtualization

0:00:28.640,0:00:31.679
so i’m going to demonstrate on this live

0:00:30.160,0:00:34.000
stream how to install

0:00:31.679,0:00:34.960
oracle’s virtualbox it’s really not that

0:00:34.000,0:00:37.280
difficult

0:00:34.960,0:00:38.480
on linux and more specifically

0:00:37.280,0:00:43.120
succinctly

0:00:38.480,0:00:47.200
mx linux 19.1 which is a debian

0:00:43.120,0:00:50.480
derivation distribution of linux

0:00:47.200,0:00:52.160
here we go so

0:00:50.480,0:00:53.840
you’re going to install i’m going to

0:00:52.160,0:00:54.559
show you how to install it via command

0:00:53.840,0:00:58.000
line

0:00:54.559,0:00:59.359
click on the link in the blog post in

the description box of this youtube

0:00:59.359,0:01:01.280
video

0:00:59.920,0:01:03.600
that’ll take you to my website in a

0:01:01.280,0:01:05.280
computers.com well i will have

0:01:03.600,0:01:07.360
full written instructions in the

0:01:05.280,0:01:10.479
abstract for you

0:01:07.360,0:01:11.439
alright so let me transition so you’re

0:01:10.479,0:01:14.159
gonna

0:01:11.439,0:01:15.920
obviously use a terminal in linux you

0:01:14.159,0:01:18.400
can you can use it via the

0:01:15.920,0:01:20.560
on mx linux there’s a package manager

0:01:18.400,0:01:22.880
i’m not going to show you that

0:01:20.560,0:01:24.720
for me it’s much easier just to use a

0:01:22.880,0:01:28.880
command line but you can certainly

0:01:24.720,0:01:32.000
use you know the package manager

0:01:28.880,0:01:35.600
so it’s real simple and

0:01:32.000,0:01:37.360
what we’re going to do is

0:01:35.600,0:01:39.119
youtube is not receiving enough video to

0:01:37.360,0:01:40.880
maintain smooth streaming well i don’t

0:01:39.119,0:01:43.360
give a shit about youtube

0:01:40.880,0:01:44.880
really i mean it’s a live stream my

0:01:43.360,0:01:48.159
encoder says that i am

0:01:44.880,0:01:51.360
streaming just fine it’s green

0:01:48.159,0:01:53.360
it’s 16 it’s over 16

0:01:51.360,0:01:55.280
what is it kilobits per second oh yeah

0:01:53.360,0:01:58.000
i’ve got plenty of bandwidth i don’t

0:01:55.280,0:02:00.240
fuck youtube all right i i’m also

0:01:58.000,0:02:02.159
recording this video just in case

0:02:00.240,0:02:03.759
so all you’re going to do is type this

0:02:02.159,0:02:07.439
command apt

0:02:03.759,0:02:11.520
get install

0:02:07.439,0:02:11.520
virtual box like this

0:02:17.760,0:02:23.440
and then hit enter and

0:02:21.680,0:02:25.040
it’s virtual and then it’s going to ask

0:02:23.440,0:02:26.720
you

0:02:25.040,0:02:28.560
now here’s some other additional

0:02:26.720,0:02:32.720
packages so it’s going to

0:02:28.560,0:02:32.959
want to install lib for library library

0:02:32.720,0:02:36.080
g

0:02:32.959,0:02:38.400
soap which is an acronym

0:02:36.080,0:02:39.519
microsoft needs to clean themselves up

0:02:38.400,0:02:42.480
with some soap but

0:02:39.519,0:02:42.959
linux yeah linux isn’t perfect but you

0:02:42.480,0:02:46.000
know

0:02:42.959,0:02:49.519
what i’m saying library vnc server one

0:02:46.000,0:02:50.879
virtual box dash dcms and virtualbox

0:02:49.519,0:02:54.080
dash guest additions

0:02:50.879,0:02:55.200
dash iso and then virtualbox qd along

0:02:54.080,0:02:58.640
with vd2

0:02:55.200,0:02:58.640
so i’m going to say yes

0:02:59.120,0:03:06.560
and this is it that’s it now i’m using

0:03:02.239,0:03:08.319
mx linux 19.1 i did not have to add any

0:03:06.560,0:03:11.120
special repository

0:03:08.319,0:03:12.800
sometimes in linux you have to and let

0:03:11.120,0:03:13.280
me make sure that i’m screen capturing

0:03:12.800,0:03:15.040
the

0:03:13.280,0:03:17.280
terminal window okay and i did increase

0:03:15.040,0:03:18.080
the font to make sure that you could see

0:03:17.280,0:03:20.080
it

0:03:18.080,0:03:21.680
you know what i’m saying it’s a it’s a

0:03:20.080,0:03:24.640
bolded

0:03:21.680,0:03:25.760
16 size font in the terminal window it

0:03:24.640,0:03:27.519
takes a little while

0:03:25.760,0:03:30.080
it’s downloading the packages let me

0:03:27.519,0:03:32.720
give you some tips

0:03:30.080,0:03:33.519
on mx linux i did not have to add any

0:03:32.720,0:03:36.319
additional

0:03:33.519,0:03:36.720
repository now if you use now you can

0:03:36.319,0:03:40.080
use

0:03:36.720,0:03:43.280
this video to install virtualbox oracle

0:03:40.080,0:03:46.959
on other linux distributions

0:03:43.280,0:03:50.560
if they are debian derivation

0:03:46.959,0:03:52.400
like ubuntu or you know debian itself

0:03:50.560,0:03:54.239
you probably don’t have to add any

0:03:52.400,0:03:55.519
additional repository

0:03:54.239,0:03:58.840
but i don’t know that know that for a

0:03:55.519,0:04:01.280
fact if you’re gonna use

0:03:58.840,0:04:04.720
the yum

0:04:01.280,0:04:06.799
which is on the linux distributions

0:04:04.720,0:04:08.640
based upon red hat linux

0:04:06.799,0:04:10.560
the instructions are different this

0:04:08.640,0:04:13.519
video probably wouldn’t help you

0:04:10.560,0:04:14.799
you know i’m saying maybe maybe not

0:04:13.519,0:04:17.759
linux commands are

0:04:14.799,0:04:20.720
pretty similar some of them are the same

0:04:17.759,0:04:24.639
across the different distributions

0:04:20.720,0:04:27.520
so here’s some additional tips

0:04:24.639,0:04:28.800
you’re going to need a computer with a

0:04:27.520,0:04:32.240
processor

0:04:28.800,0:04:33.840
that supports virtualization

0:04:32.240,0:04:36.000
now you can go into your bios i’m not

0:04:33.840,0:04:36.560
going to talk about going into your bios

0:04:36.000,0:04:37.919
i just

0:04:36.560,0:04:40.080
want to show you how to install

0:04:37.919,0:04:40.800
virtualbox you know i’m doing this on a

0:04:40.080,0:04:42.960
live stream

0:04:40.800,0:04:44.880
performing this on a live stream that’s

0:04:42.960,0:04:46.960
going to be recorded

0:04:44.880,0:04:48.479
youtube is they’re they’re fucks fuck

0:04:46.960,0:04:50.720
ups and

0:04:48.479,0:04:52.320
rece i don’t want to digress about the

0:04:50.720,0:04:54.320
just bullshit now that

0:04:52.320,0:04:57.040
that you have to deal with when you live

0:04:54.320,0:05:00.479
stream and anyways i don’t know

0:04:57.040,0:05:00.479
i want to get into the details

0:05:02.240,0:05:06.560
the possible easiest way is to find out

0:05:06.080,0:05:09.440
what

0:05:06.560,0:05:11.120
the model of your processor is let’s say

0:05:09.440,0:05:12.160
it’s an intel and i’m just making this

0:05:11.120,0:05:16.600
up arbitrarily

0:05:12.160,0:05:20.160
it’s an intel g7889

0:05:16.600,0:05:20.639
microprocessor you can go out to a

0:05:20.160,0:05:24.320
search

0:05:20.639,0:05:25.840
engine type in intel and then the model

0:05:24.320,0:05:28.800
of the microprocessor

0:05:25.840,0:05:30.240
look go find the official intel

0:05:28.800,0:05:33.759
specifications page

0:05:30.240,0:05:36.080
for your microprocessor scroll down

0:05:33.759,0:05:39.840
and it will tell you whether or not your

0:05:36.080,0:05:39.840
processor supports virtualization

0:05:40.000,0:05:43.039
and i might make a separate video

0:05:41.360,0:05:44.960
showing you how to do that because

0:05:43.039,0:05:47.440
i i had a quad core believe it or not

0:05:44.960,0:05:50.400
it’s a it’s a nice quad core it has a

0:05:47.440,0:05:53.840
gigabyte motherboard with a what is it a

0:05:50.400,0:05:56.960
quad core 2.3 2.4 gigahertz whatever

0:05:53.840,0:05:59.520
but for whatever reason that processor

0:05:56.960,0:05:59.520
does not

0:06:00.240,0:06:06.240
support virtualization now it also could

0:06:03.120,0:06:09.840
be that virtualization is not turned on

0:06:06.240,0:06:12.080
in your bios it must be enabled

0:06:09.840,0:06:13.199
but i i would have to create a separate

0:06:12.080,0:06:14.960
video about that

0:06:13.199,0:06:16.639
i don’t know if i want to because i

0:06:14.960,0:06:17.600
would really want to demonstrate it

0:06:16.639,0:06:20.800
properly

0:06:17.600,0:06:24.080
and i would need a video

0:06:20.800,0:06:25.840
basically a video capture card you know

0:06:24.080,0:06:27.840
i’m saying it’s hard to i mean how

0:06:25.840,0:06:29.919
you can’t capture your bios with an

0:06:27.840,0:06:31.600
encoder software program get it you know

0:06:29.919,0:06:34.720
what i’m saying

0:06:31.600,0:06:35.280
so it could be one of two things number

0:06:34.720,0:06:37.120
one

0:06:35.280,0:06:39.199
check to make sure your processor

0:06:37.120,0:06:40.560
supports virtualization if it does not

0:06:39.199,0:06:42.560
it’s not gonna work you’re gonna waste

0:06:40.560,0:06:46.000
your time trying to install

0:06:42.560,0:06:48.960
you know oracle virtualbox and

0:06:46.000,0:06:49.759
when it’s almost completed installation

0:06:48.960,0:06:52.240
it will

0:06:49.759,0:06:55.120
try to start the virtualization

0:06:52.240,0:06:58.080
processes i think there’s two main ones

0:06:55.120,0:06:58.800
if if they error out there’s a high

0:06:58.080,0:07:01.360
percentage

0:06:58.800,0:07:02.000
chance that number one either your

0:07:01.360,0:07:05.440
processor

0:07:02.000,0:07:08.960
does not support virtualization or

0:07:05.440,0:07:12.400
it is not enabled in your bios

0:07:08.960,0:07:12.960
you know what i’m saying so it’s

0:07:12.400,0:07:15.520
building

0:07:12.960,0:07:16.240
it’s got a build for the kernel and blah

0:07:15.520,0:07:18.880
blah

0:07:16.240,0:07:20.479
blah blah blah blah but once this is

0:07:18.880,0:07:22.560
completed

0:07:20.479,0:07:24.000
you don’t have to do anything else so

0:07:22.560,0:07:27.280
that is why i prefer

0:07:24.000,0:07:29.759
linux at times and i actually prefer mx

0:07:27.280,0:07:32.800
linux now although mx linux is not

0:07:29.759,0:07:35.360
here we go so pay attention here

0:07:32.800,0:07:37.280
it’s creating a kernel no original

0:07:35.360,0:07:38.479
module exists with it now here here’s

0:07:37.280,0:07:40.240
what i’m talking about pay attention

0:07:38.479,0:07:42.880
dkms install completed

0:07:40.240,0:07:43.599
unloading virtualbox kernel modules okay

0:07:42.880,0:07:45.759
green

0:07:43.599,0:07:47.520
okay means that it it was able to

0:07:45.759,0:07:48.240
succeed loading virtualbox kernel

0:07:47.520,0:07:52.319
modules

0:07:48.240,0:07:56.000
vbox drv vbox net flt and vbox

0:07:52.319,0:07:56.720
net adp and it has a green okay that

0:07:56.000,0:08:00.240
means

0:07:56.720,0:08:03.120
that it was able to load the modules

0:08:00.240,0:08:04.960
if you get an error here it could very

0:08:03.120,0:08:07.440
well be that i already went over

0:08:04.960,0:08:09.120
either the price microprocessor does not

0:08:07.440,0:08:12.800
support virtualbox

0:08:09.120,0:08:14.800
or it’s not even enabled in the bios

0:08:12.800,0:08:15.840
now we’re almost done here processing

0:08:14.800,0:08:17.440
triggers

0:08:15.840,0:08:20.160
so this is a good sign actually i

0:08:17.440,0:08:22.639
already installed this as a test

0:08:20.160,0:08:24.479
and i removed everything necessary and

0:08:22.639,0:08:27.759
i’m just you know

0:08:24.479,0:08:29.280
to save time

0:08:27.759,0:08:30.960
all right a few more any other tips

0:08:29.280,0:08:34.959
that’s really about it

0:08:30.960,0:08:38.399
oh how about hard drive space now

0:08:34.959,0:08:40.000
you can you this is what you might want

0:08:38.399,0:08:41.919
to do i do not give out orders like

0:08:40.000,0:08:44.240
the government military dictatorship

0:08:41.919,0:08:47.519
does i’m not a control freak i know you

0:08:44.240,0:08:47.519
americans are but i am not

0:08:48.000,0:08:51.279
you could install oracle virtualbox on

0:08:50.399,0:08:53.279
the same

0:08:51.279,0:08:54.880
hard drive i’m using a flash drive i’m

0:08:53.279,0:08:57.040
using a 16

0:08:54.880,0:08:58.080
gigabyte flash drive here here’s some

0:08:57.040,0:09:00.240
more of the

0:08:58.080,0:09:01.920
processor starting up so this tells me

0:09:00.240,0:09:06.000
this that’s going to work

0:09:01.920,0:09:07.279
if you get errors here you know

0:09:06.000,0:09:09.200
there could be you know it could be

0:09:07.279,0:09:11.279
because virtualization

0:09:09.200,0:09:12.800
is not turned on or the processor

0:09:11.279,0:09:15.279
doesn’t support it

0:09:12.800,0:09:16.800
you know what i’m saying because i’ve

0:09:15.279,0:09:18.160
tested this before on the quad core

0:09:16.800,0:09:19.680
that’s where i learned that it wouldn’t

0:09:18.160,0:09:21.600
work because i was like oh well this is

0:09:19.680,0:09:22.000
a gigabyte motherboard it’s a you know

0:09:21.600,0:09:24.959
halfway

0:09:22.000,0:09:25.360
decent processor it’s a quad core i’ll

0:09:24.959,0:09:28.640
just

0:09:25.360,0:09:31.680
install virtualbox and bam wrong

0:09:28.640,0:09:33.360
wrong wrong i saw these errors i

0:09:31.680,0:09:34.959
performed some internet searches

0:09:33.360,0:09:36.880
and sure enough i double checked i

0:09:34.959,0:09:38.800
verified that the processor

0:09:36.880,0:09:39.920
did not support virtualization hard

0:09:38.800,0:09:42.480
drive space

0:09:39.920,0:09:44.320
you could install virtualbox on the same

0:09:42.480,0:09:47.600
hard drive that your operating system

0:09:44.320,0:09:50.240
is functioning off of or you could

0:09:47.600,0:09:52.480
have a second hard drive even a flash

0:09:50.240,0:09:52.480
drive

0:09:52.720,0:09:56.560
however just make sure that your second

0:09:54.640,0:10:00.320
hard drive is formatted

0:09:56.560,0:10:03.200
and it is accessible by linux

0:10:00.320,0:10:03.600
and this and that might be better for

0:10:03.200,0:10:04.959
you

0:10:03.600,0:10:07.839
because you could have a separate hard

0:10:04.959,0:10:10.399
drive two terabyte bytes one terabyte

0:10:07.839,0:10:12.160
whatever the largest hard drive you can

0:10:10.399,0:10:14.560
afford or you can get your hands on

0:10:12.160,0:10:16.000
the the bios will support and then that

0:10:14.560,0:10:18.480
way you can keep

0:10:16.000,0:10:20.880
your operating systems so oracle

0:10:18.480,0:10:23.360
virtualbox is used to install

0:10:20.880,0:10:24.000
operating systems within an operating

0:10:23.360,0:10:25.920
system

0:10:24.000,0:10:27.680
so you do not have to have multiple hard

0:10:25.920,0:10:29.200
drives and you don’t have to fucking

0:10:27.680,0:10:31.920
boot off of every hard

0:10:29.200,0:10:33.680
excuse me operating system you know what

0:10:31.920,0:10:34.800
i’m saying i mean you can partition i’m

0:10:33.680,0:10:36.560
not going to talk about that

0:10:34.800,0:10:38.000
but you could certainly partition

0:10:36.560,0:10:38.959
different operating systems on one

0:10:38.000,0:10:40.480
physical hard drive

0:10:38.959,0:10:42.160
i don’t fuck with that because i learned

0:10:40.480,0:10:44.160
long ago

0:10:42.160,0:10:46.160
dual booting can turn into a disaster i

0:10:44.160,0:10:48.880
don’t waste time dual booting

0:10:46.160,0:10:49.360
you know what i’m saying virtualbox is

0:10:48.880,0:10:52.399
to me

0:10:49.360,0:10:54.160
kind of a i don’t know maybe it was a

0:10:52.399,0:10:55.120
solution at time that time for dual

0:10:54.160,0:10:58.720
booting

0:10:55.120,0:11:00.240
fiasco’s and or you know

0:10:58.720,0:11:03.200
partitioning hard drives and all that

0:11:00.240,0:11:04.880
shit but that

0:11:03.200,0:11:07.440
you know you could dedicate a separate

0:11:04.880,0:11:09.760
just make sure the bios detects it

0:11:07.440,0:11:12.000
make sure it’s formatted and make sure

0:11:09.760,0:11:15.040
that your linux distribution

0:11:12.000,0:11:16.880
can access it and then boom you can use

0:11:15.040,0:11:18.160
that second hard drive space or even a

0:11:16.880,0:11:20.959
flash drive

0:11:18.160,0:11:22.959
as the storage space i’m not going to

0:11:20.959,0:11:24.240
demonstrate installing an operating

0:11:22.959,0:11:25.920
system that will be

0:11:24.240,0:11:27.360
my next video series i don’t know when

0:11:25.920,0:11:29.440
i’m going to get to it

0:11:27.360,0:11:31.839
my next video may be about installing an

0:11:29.440,0:11:34.480
operating system on oracle virtualbox

0:11:31.839,0:11:36.160
it may not i just don’t know but i plan

0:11:34.480,0:11:39.200
and then i’ll save that for over time

0:11:36.160,0:11:42.160
so that’s it we’re done so we got

0:11:39.200,0:11:43.040
you know four okays that’s good now i am

0:11:42.160,0:11:46.079
going to

0:11:43.040,0:11:47.360
let me transition while i set this up i

0:11:46.079,0:11:49.920
don’t know why youtube

0:11:47.360,0:11:51.920
is acting a fool oh that message

0:11:49.920,0:11:53.839
disappeared oh well i don’t fucking care

0:11:51.920,0:11:55.600
now it says excellent condition oh here

0:11:53.839,0:11:59.040
we go again error

0:11:55.600,0:12:00.880
it’s in bright yellow error youtube is

0:11:59.040,0:12:02.880
not receiving enough video to maintain

0:12:00.880,0:12:06.399
smooth streaming as such

0:12:02.880,0:12:08.959
and then it’s got a window that as such

0:12:06.399,0:12:11.600
viewers will experience buffering

0:12:08.959,0:12:12.480
pour now it says pour even though my

0:12:11.600,0:12:15.200
encoder

0:12:12.480,0:12:16.720
has i haven’t dropped one frame no no

0:12:15.200,0:12:19.360
frame drop

0:12:16.720,0:12:20.079
and i’ve got my encoder set so that it’s

0:12:19.360,0:12:23.920
it’s

0:12:20.079,0:12:25.519
streaming in 720p so fuck youtube i mean

0:12:23.920,0:12:26.480
oh yeah that’s right i’ll get this video

0:12:25.519,0:12:29.200
pulled or i’ll just

0:12:26.480,0:12:29.600
you know at midnight susan wojcicki’s

0:12:29.200,0:12:31.920
crew

0:12:29.600,0:12:33.760
will just terminate my youtube channel

0:12:31.920,0:12:36.000
and yes youtube does censor people and

0:12:33.760,0:12:38.560
that’s a fact

0:12:36.000,0:12:40.320
and they might be violating the 1976

0:12:38.560,0:12:41.680
digital copyright millennium act

0:12:40.320,0:12:44.480
i’m just saying i’m just saying all

0:12:41.680,0:12:45.120
right now let me set up where i can show

0:12:44.480,0:12:47.200
you

0:12:45.120,0:12:48.720
the you know how virtualbox looks just

0:12:47.200,0:12:50.000
to make sure just to show you that we

0:12:48.720,0:12:53.040
got it installed

0:12:50.000,0:12:54.880
and to open it and boom that’s it

0:12:53.040,0:12:56.160
and then this video will almost be done

0:12:54.880,0:12:59.279
so i just have to

0:12:56.160,0:13:03.839
add i just have to okay

0:12:59.279,0:13:06.240
let’s see i think yes

0:13:03.839,0:13:06.880
now the problem with this is that you’re

0:13:06.240,0:13:10.079
going to

0:13:06.880,0:13:12.880
probably see my encoder because i don’t

0:13:10.079,0:13:14.320
have a second monitor i’m in a hotel

0:13:12.880,0:13:16.560
i’ve got this

0:13:14.320,0:13:18.800
led television i could hook up but the

0:13:16.560,0:13:19.279
way that as a long story i just don’t

0:13:18.800,0:13:20.720
have

0:13:19.279,0:13:23.040
yeah it’s just i’d have to get another

0:13:20.720,0:13:26.320
monitor so anyways

0:13:23.040,0:13:27.680
ah so now i am going to demonstrate here

0:13:26.320,0:13:28.560
so you’re going to see the encoder is

0:13:27.680,0:13:30.639
going to look weird

0:13:28.560,0:13:32.320
but we’re going to go here on mx linux

0:13:30.639,0:13:34.079
you’re going to go to accessories

0:13:32.320,0:13:36.000
and then boom scroll all the way down to

0:13:34.079,0:13:38.079
the bottom i think

0:13:36.000,0:13:39.120
yeah and it’s the second to the last you

0:13:38.079,0:13:44.000
should be able to see that

0:13:39.120,0:13:44.000
and then select virtualbox and then

0:13:44.800,0:13:48.079
it might take a few seconds i’m all i’m

0:13:46.959,0:13:50.240
using a flash drive

0:13:48.079,0:13:52.000
so you know what i’m saying let me

0:13:50.240,0:13:53.680
transition back because that’s ugly for

0:13:52.000,0:13:56.079
you to fucking have to see my goddamn

0:13:53.680,0:13:57.839
encoder or i could minimize it although

0:13:56.079,0:13:58.959
if i minimize it it may not capture

0:13:57.839,0:14:00.320
correctly

0:13:58.959,0:14:02.720
i’m still waiting there there’s

0:14:00.320,0:14:06.240
virtualbox and i maximized it for you

0:14:02.720,0:14:07.519
so that now it will take up the entire

0:14:06.240,0:14:10.880
screen alright

0:14:07.519,0:14:11.519
so this is oracle vm for well virtual

0:14:10.880,0:14:14.639
machine

0:14:11.519,0:14:15.040
virtual box manager it’s entirely free i

0:14:14.639,0:14:18.000
think

0:14:15.040,0:14:19.360
they do support windows and macintosh i

0:14:18.000,0:14:22.160
have never

0:14:19.360,0:14:23.760
tried to install it on windows excuse me

0:14:22.160,0:14:24.480
political correctness microsoft wind

0:14:23.760,0:14:27.279
blows

0:14:24.480,0:14:27.760
and or mac and crap but i think they do

0:14:27.279,0:14:31.920
have

0:14:27.760,0:14:34.079
versions for and from my understanding

0:14:31.920,0:14:36.560
it’s it’s free i don’t i don’t know if

0:14:34.079,0:14:38.639
oracle will ever charge

0:14:36.560,0:14:40.240
i’m saying it’s an excellent tool it may

0:14:38.639,0:14:42.079
be the best virtual box i don’t know i’m

0:14:40.240,0:14:43.199
not a virtual box expert i found out

0:14:42.079,0:14:45.040
about it

0:14:43.199,0:14:46.560
a few years ago i tried to install it it

0:14:45.040,0:14:49.680
was easy to install i just

0:14:46.560,0:14:51.519
you know the goddamn micro processor

0:14:49.680,0:14:55.600
didn’t have virtualization support

0:14:51.519,0:14:58.000
this is it this is the main you know

0:14:55.600,0:14:59.360
user interface if you can import your

0:14:58.000,0:15:01.360
settings

0:14:59.360,0:15:02.480
you you go into the preferences i’m not

0:15:01.360,0:15:03.920
going to go over that i just want to

0:15:02.480,0:15:05.120
quickly show you the interface it’s

0:15:03.920,0:15:06.880
pretty simple

0:15:05.120,0:15:09.440
you can export your appliance what that

0:15:06.880,0:15:12.720
means is that if you have to reinstall

0:15:09.440,0:15:13.199
virtualbox you could export it into a

0:15:12.720,0:15:15.360
file

0:15:13.199,0:15:17.120
save it and then when you go to

0:15:15.360,0:15:18.800
reinstall virtualbox

0:15:17.120,0:15:20.320
you would just import and that might

0:15:18.800,0:15:23.040
save you a lot of time i

0:15:20.320,0:15:24.079
think it’s called appliance don’t quote

0:15:23.040,0:15:26.160
me on it

0:15:24.079,0:15:27.920
the user manual is quite lengthy it

0:15:26.160,0:15:29.199
actually oracle virtual machine

0:15:27.920,0:15:31.360
virtualbox is

0:15:29.199,0:15:33.600
much more convoluted complex than you

0:15:31.360,0:15:37.199
think it is

0:15:33.600,0:15:38.639
this tool may actually store the virtual

0:15:37.199,0:15:39.279
machines as well which could be a lot of

0:15:38.639,0:15:41.920
data

0:15:39.279,0:15:42.399
now what you can’t now it’s got a new

0:15:41.920,0:15:44.959
and an

0:15:42.399,0:15:46.160
add button also up here under machine it

0:15:44.959,0:15:49.839
has new

0:15:46.160,0:15:52.320
and then add so new

0:15:49.839,0:15:54.639
which i’m selecting would allow you to

0:15:52.320,0:15:55.440
create a virtual machine you just select

0:15:54.639,0:15:57.199
new

0:15:55.440,0:15:59.120
you could you have to create a new

0:15:57.199,0:16:02.000
virtual machine

0:15:59.120,0:16:02.959
and then and then once you create the

0:16:02.000,0:16:05.120
virtual machine

0:16:02.959,0:16:06.639
you start the virtual machine and then

0:16:05.120,0:16:08.079
you have to install the operating system

0:16:06.639,0:16:08.639
i am not going to demonstrate that in

0:16:08.079,0:16:10.800
this video

0:16:08.639,0:16:12.480
i just wanted to show you that hey man

0:16:10.800,0:16:15.839
it didn’t take that long

0:16:12.480,0:16:19.519
a cup one command apt dash get

0:16:15.839,0:16:23.120
space underscore well app

0:16:19.519,0:16:26.320
dash get space install

0:16:23.120,0:16:27.839
space virtual box spell correctly

0:16:26.320,0:16:29.519
upper case doesn’t matter in this

0:16:27.839,0:16:33.839
scenario v i r t u

0:16:29.519,0:16:37.759
a l box one word

0:16:33.839,0:16:39.759
boom it downloads boom

0:16:37.759,0:16:40.880
the services start up which tells you

0:16:39.759,0:16:44.320
that it most likely

0:16:40.880,0:16:46.639
will work bam we’re in the interface

0:16:44.320,0:16:48.079
and then you would just name it and then

0:16:46.639,0:16:49.600
you would choose your operating system

0:16:48.079,0:16:50.959
and then you just follow along which i’m

0:16:49.600,0:16:52.000
not going to demonstrate that will be in

0:16:50.959,0:16:52.959
future videos so you’re going to have to

0:16:52.000,0:16:55.279
look up for

0:16:52.959,0:16:56.320
my future videos where i show you how to

0:16:55.279,0:16:57.839
install when

0:16:56.320,0:17:00.480
i’m actually going to go back and

0:16:57.839,0:17:01.600
install as many operating systems as

0:17:00.480,0:17:04.559
i’ve ever used or

0:17:01.600,0:17:04.959
that i have media for and you know what

0:17:04.559,0:17:06.559
i’m saying

0:17:04.959,0:17:08.319
so we can click the cancel here now i

0:17:06.559,0:17:10.880
think when you click on add

0:17:08.319,0:17:12.000
so that is to add it to start a new

0:17:10.880,0:17:15.439
virtual machine

0:17:12.000,0:17:17.280
oh this would be to add a

0:17:15.439,0:17:18.640
select a virtual machine file i’m not

0:17:17.280,0:17:21.760
sure what this actual

0:17:18.640,0:17:23.439
does it may be the same thing as new

0:17:21.760,0:17:25.520
only you already have the virtual

0:17:23.439,0:17:26.880
machine backed up

0:17:25.520,0:17:29.520
you know what i’m saying and then you

0:17:26.880,0:17:32.640
add it again and then it works

0:17:29.520,0:17:34.240
i don’t know though so i haven’t really

0:17:32.640,0:17:35.360
used this program that much i’ve just

0:17:34.240,0:17:38.240
learned how to

0:17:35.360,0:17:38.640
i’ve learned how to install os’s on it

0:17:38.240,0:17:40.400
and

0:17:38.640,0:17:43.039
go through the preferences and get it

0:17:40.400,0:17:46.799
installed all right so that’s the end

0:17:43.039,0:17:49.520
and just a little bit of overtime

0:17:46.799,0:17:51.039
and i’m sorry for the ugly uh you know i

0:17:49.520,0:17:52.799
don’t give a shit

0:17:51.039,0:17:54.480
you know if you see my encoder i’m not

0:17:52.799,0:17:56.480
one of those i don’t think i am i don’t

0:17:54.480,0:17:59.200
think i’m one of those snobby

0:17:56.480,0:18:00.400
youtube technology shields that lives in

0:17:59.200,0:18:04.640
a gated community

0:18:00.400,0:18:07.039
and they’re so rich and that they can

0:18:04.640,0:18:08.320
hire their own maintenance crew to mow

0:18:07.039,0:18:11.039
their lawn and

0:18:08.320,0:18:11.840
you know trim their shrubs and perform

0:18:11.039,0:18:13.520
their laundry

0:18:11.840,0:18:15.679
and all but at the same time they’re

0:18:13.520,0:18:16.720
winding and bitching and moaning and

0:18:15.679,0:18:19.280
complaining

0:18:16.720,0:18:19.840
and playing the victim about how oh how

0:18:19.280,0:18:23.520
how

0:18:19.840,0:18:26.840
they’re so victimized on youtube and

0:18:23.520,0:18:28.480
all right now what do i have here oh

0:18:26.840,0:18:30.960
fuck

0:18:28.480,0:18:31.919
i have a windows xp cd that fell in the

0:18:30.960,0:18:34.559
sink oh

0:18:31.919,0:18:37.280
oh i better turn on the garbage disposal

0:18:34.559,0:18:40.720
because microsoft is garbage

0:18:37.280,0:18:43.200
all right i saved all these

0:18:40.720,0:18:44.480
now this is a microsoft windows x this

0:18:43.200,0:18:47.039
is over time

0:18:44.480,0:18:47.600
i’m at the 1845 that’s not bad record

0:18:47.039,0:18:50.720
time

0:18:47.600,0:18:52.400
lifetime a little under 20.

0:18:50.720,0:18:53.840
so i don’t want to make this video much

0:18:52.400,0:18:55.760
longer because there’s a lot of

0:18:53.840,0:18:56.400
shenanigans going on on youtube when you

0:18:55.760,0:18:58.160
live stream

0:18:56.400,0:18:59.600
i’m not going to go into the details

0:18:58.160,0:19:00.400
because if you ever tell the truth on

0:18:59.600,0:19:04.320
youtube

0:19:00.400,0:19:10.240
bam you’re terminated at midnight

0:19:04.320,0:19:11.919
for your free speech i

0:19:10.240,0:19:13.679
saved these over the years and i’ll just

0:19:11.919,0:19:16.559
i’ll just show you really quickly

0:19:13.679,0:19:17.600
really these are the cd now some of them

0:19:16.559,0:19:19.440
are not

0:19:17.600,0:19:20.880
you know operating systems but these are

0:19:19.440,0:19:22.559
the ones i saved

0:19:20.880,0:19:24.240
i wish i would have saved windows for

0:19:22.559,0:19:26.160
work groups three point

0:19:24.240,0:19:29.120
one zero and three point one one i used

0:19:26.160,0:19:29.120
to have the discs

0:19:29.840,0:19:35.840
i’m serious with oracle virtual

0:19:33.039,0:19:37.520
machine virtual box you can go back in

0:19:35.840,0:19:41.039
time

0:19:37.520,0:19:42.799
so i’ve got windows xp right here

0:19:41.039,0:19:44.640
this is microsoft windows xp media

0:19:42.799,0:19:46.559
center edition 2005.

0:19:44.640,0:19:48.720
it’s a different type of windows xp that

0:19:46.559,0:19:50.000
they created it has a product key and so

0:19:48.720,0:19:51.440
it’s very legit

0:19:50.000,0:19:53.200
i think it could be wrong but i think

0:19:51.440,0:19:54.799
with virtualbox you still have to

0:19:53.200,0:19:57.440
activate the licenses

0:19:54.799,0:19:57.440
we’ll find out

0:19:58.080,0:20:02.240
i have some old games too that will run

0:19:59.919,0:20:06.000
i think on windows 2000 so

0:20:02.240,0:20:09.440
maybe i’ll do that too now i have

0:20:06.000,0:20:11.360
macintosh version 10.5.4

0:20:09.440,0:20:12.960
the operating system i think that is

0:20:11.360,0:20:13.919
like panther or something like that so

0:20:12.960,0:20:15.840
it’s pretty old

0:20:13.919,0:20:17.360
but i have the media so i’m going to try

0:20:15.840,0:20:18.559
to install it and every one of these

0:20:17.360,0:20:20.880
operating systems

0:20:18.559,0:20:24.159
i’m going to record a live stream and

0:20:20.880,0:20:26.480
i’ll demonstrate how to install it yep

0:20:24.159,0:20:29.200
so that’s enough that’s the second one i

0:20:26.480,0:20:31.200
have windows nt 4.0 although i don’t

0:20:29.200,0:20:33.120
have a

0:20:31.200,0:20:34.799
license so i’ll bet i’ll just try it

0:20:33.120,0:20:35.760
anyways at the very least what i could

0:20:34.799,0:20:38.880
do is i could

0:20:35.760,0:20:39.520
install them and demonstrate and then it

0:20:38.880,0:20:41.600
may or not

0:20:39.520,0:20:43.360
may not work back in the day i’m not

0:20:41.600,0:20:45.520
sure windows 10

0:20:43.360,0:20:47.039
you have like 30 days or well you know

0:20:45.520,0:20:48.240
what i think windows 10 you don’t have

0:20:47.039,0:20:50.960
to activate now

0:20:48.240,0:20:52.320
but you just can’t get updates and it

0:20:50.960,0:20:53.120
runs flake here i don’t know i don’t

0:20:52.320,0:20:55.280
some bullshit

0:20:53.120,0:20:56.960
windows 7 i think is 30 days i think

0:20:55.280,0:20:59.760
windows vista was 30 days

0:20:56.960,0:21:00.320
and windows xp i think also 30 days but

0:20:59.760,0:21:02.720
whatever

0:21:00.320,0:21:03.360
to activate it you know it’ll run for 30

0:21:02.720,0:21:06.000
days

0:21:03.360,0:21:06.400
if you don’t type in the license key

0:21:06.000,0:21:07.919
they

0:21:06.400,0:21:08.790
you know tell you to fuck off and they

0:21:07.919,0:21:10.640
just lock you up

0:21:08.790,0:21:12.799
[Laughter]

0:21:10.640,0:21:16.480
good old microcrap microsoft microsoft

0:21:12.799,0:21:20.400
they need to clean their act up

0:21:16.480,0:21:20.400
you do know that two of their

0:21:20.480,0:21:24.559
i would say higher management were paid

0:21:22.720,0:21:26.960
off millions of dollars

0:21:24.559,0:21:28.799
after they were busted for sexual

0:21:26.960,0:21:30.799
harassment of their employees

0:21:28.799,0:21:32.799
and instead and they didn’t face any

0:21:30.799,0:21:35.440
criminal charges if that was an average

0:21:32.799,0:21:36.480
american you would have been arrested

0:21:35.440,0:21:38.960
but no they were

0:21:36.480,0:21:39.840
executives at no no no that was google

0:21:38.960,0:21:43.440
my bad

0:21:39.840,0:21:46.640
my bad my bad wait a minute

0:21:43.440,0:21:50.480
microsoft are no better i mean

0:21:46.640,0:21:53.360
all right so there’s windows nt 4.0

0:21:50.480,0:21:55.440
yep so that will be an operating system

0:21:53.360,0:21:57.360
that i will

0:21:55.440,0:22:00.559
install and demonstrate on a live stream

0:21:57.360,0:22:03.280
windows 95 i have the cd and i do have a

0:22:00.559,0:22:03.760
license that will be a fourth operating

0:22:03.280,0:22:05.840
system

0:22:03.760,0:22:06.880
i have another windows 95 i have another

0:22:05.840,0:22:08.880
windows nt

0:22:06.880,0:22:10.080
i have service pack six i could even

0:22:08.880,0:22:12.080
demonstrate

0:22:10.080,0:22:13.200
if i am able to get windows nt to

0:22:12.080,0:22:14.720
function properly

0:22:13.200,0:22:18.640
and i can show you how to install

0:22:14.720,0:22:21.520
service pack six in a virtual machine

0:22:18.640,0:22:22.640
i have a mech warrior i don’t i don’t

0:22:21.520,0:22:24.880
think i’ve ever played that

0:22:22.640,0:22:25.679
i have microsoft flight simulator 2000

0:22:24.880,0:22:28.480
actually

0:22:25.679,0:22:29.120
and that yeah if i can get windows 2000

0:22:28.480,0:22:31.280
working

0:22:29.120,0:22:32.960
i will you know install the games and

0:22:31.280,0:22:37.280
i’ll i’ll even try to play him

0:22:32.960,0:22:40.640
on in a virtual machine within linux

0:22:37.280,0:22:43.919
windows 95 again windows entity

0:22:40.640,0:22:46.240
i’m glad i saved these old cds i’m

0:22:43.919,0:22:47.760
i don’t like microsoft bit i’m not yeah

0:22:46.240,0:22:49.280
i’m one of their biggest critics but

0:22:47.760,0:22:52.720
however

0:22:49.280,0:22:55.180
it is technology and i have made

0:22:52.720,0:22:58.000
a living for decades off of microsoft

0:22:55.180,0:22:59.679
[Laughter]

0:22:58.000,0:23:01.120
so i’m a hypocrite i admit i’m a

0:22:59.679,0:23:03.679
hypocrite man

0:23:01.120,0:23:05.120
just just uh if just because but in the

0:23:03.679,0:23:06.960
system

0:23:05.120,0:23:08.320
in the government military dictatorship

0:23:06.960,0:23:10.480
that requires money

0:23:08.320,0:23:11.760
capitalism is nasty and atrocious and

0:23:10.480,0:23:15.120
disgusting and

0:23:11.760,0:23:16.880
insidious and toxic and oppressive

0:23:15.120,0:23:18.480
i mean what else am i supposed to do i’m

0:23:16.880,0:23:19.919
supposed to learn linux and then you

0:23:18.480,0:23:24.400
know become homeless

0:23:19.919,0:23:24.400
or i’m supposed to learn macintosh bit

0:23:24.559,0:23:31.679
there’s very few you know private

0:23:28.960,0:23:33.360
macintosh repair businesses that are not

0:23:31.679,0:23:34.960
affiliated with or did you know that

0:23:33.360,0:23:35.760
macintosh that apple computer

0:23:34.960,0:23:38.559
corporation

0:23:35.760,0:23:40.080
they frown upon you know private

0:23:38.559,0:23:41.760
third-party businesses

0:23:40.080,0:23:42.720
you know supporting mac and they’ll if

0:23:41.760,0:23:44.240
they don’t like you they’ll do

0:23:42.720,0:23:44.799
everything they can to shut your shit

0:23:44.240,0:23:46.480
down

0:23:44.799,0:23:48.799
shut your business down and that i know

0:23:46.480,0:23:52.320
i’m not making that one up

0:23:48.799,0:23:55.440
all right so there let’s set these aside

0:23:52.320,0:24:00.400
and i’m not done yet i think oh

0:23:55.440,0:24:03.679
i have the original microsoft windows 98

0:24:00.400,0:24:05.679
with the product key see

0:24:03.679,0:24:07.600
upgrade so all i have to do to install

0:24:05.679,0:24:11.120
install windows 95 in a virtual machine

0:24:07.600,0:24:14.320
on virtualbox and then i upgraded it

0:24:11.120,0:24:16.080
yeah so that’s another video

0:24:14.320,0:24:17.360
let’s see this about a million dollars

0:24:16.080,0:24:19.679
here

0:24:17.360,0:24:20.640
a thousand oh that’s right on youtube

0:24:19.679,0:24:23.279
it’s about

0:24:20.640,0:24:23.919
ten dollars for the the in the entire

0:24:23.279,0:24:27.039
twenty

0:24:23.919,0:24:27.039
operating system set

0:24:27.679,0:24:31.279
really i don’t hardly make any money on

0:24:29.520,0:24:33.840
youtube i don’t even know why the fuck i

0:24:31.279,0:24:36.159
for now i just do it to just yell and

0:24:33.840,0:24:38.559
you know i’ll cuss and you know scream

0:24:36.159,0:24:39.360
and rant and rave and it’s good therapy

0:24:38.559,0:24:42.159
center tower

0:24:39.360,0:24:44.480
yep that i think that’s for windows 2000

0:24:42.159,0:24:47.520
what else do i have

0:24:44.480,0:24:49.200
oh i have another windows nt

0:24:47.520,0:24:51.440
hey oh let me show you did i show you

0:24:49.200,0:24:53.120
the windows yeah let me show you

0:24:51.440,0:24:54.559
i’m not gonna waste the time to show you

0:24:53.120,0:24:56.080
up close but i just wanna you should be

0:24:54.559,0:24:56.720
able to see that that’s an official

0:24:56.080,0:25:00.400
apple

0:24:56.720,0:25:03.360
that is the original apple box

0:25:00.400,0:25:04.720
oh apple there are bastards too they i

0:25:03.360,0:25:05.679
don’t want to go into it but i talked

0:25:04.720,0:25:07.200
about this before

0:25:05.679,0:25:08.799
they make it very difficult for you to

0:25:07.200,0:25:10.400
get replacement media

0:25:08.799,0:25:12.320
you know i’m saying you can sell the

0:25:10.400,0:25:14.799
used like i could sell this used but i

0:25:12.320,0:25:15.440
could not reproduce it and if i got

0:25:14.799,0:25:16.799
caught they might

0:25:15.440,0:25:18.799
tell me take me to court or whatever

0:25:16.799,0:25:19.120
those fuckers that happened but this is

0:25:18.799,0:25:22.799
oh

0:25:19.120,0:25:25.760
leopard i was wrong 10.5.4 is leopard

0:25:22.799,0:25:26.480
not snow leopard snow leopard is 10.6 i

0:25:25.760,0:25:29.520
think

0:25:26.480,0:25:31.039
this is leopard so it’s an older mac

0:25:29.520,0:25:33.279
that i’m going to try to install in a

0:25:31.039,0:25:37.279
virtual machine in oracle’s virtualbox

0:25:33.279,0:25:37.279
on mx linux 19.1

0:25:38.000,0:25:41.039
i’ve been waiting actually i’ve been

0:25:39.520,0:25:43.039
planning on this for years i just never

0:25:41.039,0:25:46.480
got around to it another windows 95

0:25:43.039,0:25:50.480
well let me show you oh

0:25:46.480,0:25:52.320
the windows xp this is the original case

0:25:50.480,0:25:54.720
that you would get from microsoft it’s a

0:25:52.320,0:25:57.200
different type if you may recall

0:25:54.720,0:25:59.279
the oops i had upside down it is the

0:25:57.200,0:26:01.679
microsoft windows 2005

0:25:59.279,0:26:03.120
xp that included the media center

0:26:01.679,0:26:06.080
edition

0:26:03.120,0:26:07.200
the ink they added the media center and

0:26:06.080,0:26:09.679
it’s um it’s

0:26:07.200,0:26:10.640
i think it’s i think it is microsoft

0:26:09.679,0:26:13.840
windows xp

0:26:10.640,0:26:18.400
professional version so and the

0:26:13.840,0:26:18.400
product key on the back and then

0:26:20.080,0:26:25.200
okay these i can set over here now i do

0:26:23.200,0:26:29.200
have

0:26:25.200,0:26:32.000
i know i have windows 95

0:26:29.200,0:26:33.039
okay but i had the i thought i had the

0:26:32.000,0:26:35.840
packaging

0:26:33.039,0:26:37.120
now this is windows 2000 this is not the

0:26:35.840,0:26:39.440
original

0:26:37.120,0:26:40.720
case it has the product key that i’m not

0:26:39.440,0:26:43.120
going to show you oh yeah

0:26:40.720,0:26:44.320
these bastards these turtles on youtube

0:26:43.120,0:26:47.440
they’ll zoom in

0:26:44.320,0:26:48.240
on your you know video and they did you

0:26:47.440,0:26:51.120
know

0:26:48.240,0:26:53.120
that that people can find out where

0:26:51.120,0:26:57.039
you’re located

0:26:53.120,0:27:00.080
in images that are that are

0:26:57.039,0:27:00.960
taken within the last certain years and

0:27:00.080,0:27:02.799
also video

0:27:00.960,0:27:04.720
they can find out your latitude and

0:27:02.799,0:27:07.600
longitude and stock

0:27:04.720,0:27:08.480
did you know that i’m not fear-mongering

0:27:07.600,0:27:10.080
i’m just telling you

0:27:08.480,0:27:11.919
i have an information technology

0:27:10.080,0:27:14.720
background and i just

0:27:11.919,0:27:14.720
share what i’ve learned

0:27:15.279,0:27:21.279
that might be why people are swatting

0:27:19.520,0:27:22.799
yeah they can try to look you up on the

0:27:21.279,0:27:24.399
internet but what they could do is they

0:27:22.799,0:27:27.520
could find a photo of you

0:27:24.399,0:27:28.720
and in the photo data it has the the

0:27:27.520,0:27:32.080
coordinates of where you’re

0:27:28.720,0:27:34.799
you’re located the location services

0:27:32.080,0:27:35.760
it’s not only google and apple in the

0:27:34.799,0:27:39.120
iphone

0:27:35.760,0:27:41.360
and the android and

0:27:39.120,0:27:43.279
some camcorders and some digital cameras

0:27:41.360,0:27:44.880
have location services

0:27:43.279,0:27:47.039
so you might want to be aware that when

0:27:44.880,0:27:49.360
you take photos and video

0:27:47.039,0:27:50.159
i’m not fear mongering i’m just warning

0:27:49.360,0:27:53.679
you

0:27:50.159,0:27:54.880
this is the official upgrade it says not

0:27:53.679,0:27:57.840
for retail or oem

0:27:54.880,0:27:58.880
distribution but i bought this upgrade

0:27:57.840,0:28:01.840
from microsoft

0:27:58.880,0:28:02.640
it’s this is the only time let me think

0:28:01.840,0:28:05.480
i paid

0:28:02.640,0:28:08.880
for windows 95 windows for work group

0:28:05.480,0:28:10.480
3.10 on 3.11

0:28:08.880,0:28:12.399
um i didn’t pay for it came with a

0:28:10.480,0:28:12.960
computer then i purchased windows 9 i’m

0:28:12.399,0:28:14.880
pretty sure i had

0:28:12.960,0:28:16.440
purchased windows 95 i think it was 12

0:28:14.880,0:28:19.919
or 13 flat drives

0:28:16.440,0:28:20.960
1.44 megabytes i don’t have them i

0:28:19.919,0:28:23.440
should have saved them

0:28:20.960,0:28:24.640
yeah i have this computer has a no it

0:28:23.440,0:28:26.720
doesn’t it doesn’t have a flappy drive

0:28:24.640,0:28:28.159
but i could get a usb 1. i had a usb 1

0:28:26.720,0:28:30.000
for a while but i got rid of it because

0:28:28.159,0:28:32.559
you know

0:28:30.000,0:28:34.240
floppy drives are very well you can use

0:28:32.559,0:28:36.399
them to upgrade the bios and blah blah

0:28:34.240,0:28:39.760
blah blah all right

0:28:36.399,0:28:41.840
so i paid for this and but every other

0:28:39.760,0:28:44.000
opera every other microsoft operating

0:28:41.840,0:28:47.039
system i’ve never paid for

0:28:44.000,0:28:50.000
and it’s not theft it’s not

0:28:47.039,0:28:50.880
the p word p-i-r-a-c-y no i don’t

0:28:50.000,0:28:52.320
discuss that

0:28:50.880,0:28:53.919
that’ll get you banned off of youtube

0:28:52.320,0:28:56.159
real quick it

0:28:53.919,0:28:58.159
is because you can buy used computers

0:28:56.159,0:29:02.320
and as long as they have the

0:28:58.159,0:29:05.200
the windows sticker on it

0:29:02.320,0:29:08.080
with the product license you can legally

0:29:05.200,0:29:09.440
reactivate it on that computer

0:29:08.080,0:29:11.279
yep and that’s what i’ve done over the

0:29:09.440,0:29:13.760
years i never paid for

0:29:11.279,0:29:14.640
windows 7 i never paid for vista i never

0:29:13.760,0:29:18.000
paid for xp

0:29:14.640,0:29:20.159
i never paid for to put for windows 10

0:29:18.000,0:29:22.399
because well windows 10 was free and so

0:29:20.159,0:29:25.840
i took advantage of the upgrade

0:29:22.399,0:29:29.600
and then i have two computers that

0:29:25.840,0:29:31.360
i can reinstall it on so

0:29:29.600,0:29:33.120
windows 2000 professional these are the

0:29:31.360,0:29:35.679
original disks that

0:29:33.120,0:29:37.600
i bought from microsoft i think i went

0:29:35.679,0:29:41.200
to micro center or

0:29:37.600,0:29:44.000
comp comp usa when it was still around

0:29:41.200,0:29:46.480
but that this is the last os i ever

0:29:44.000,0:29:48.240
purchased from microsoft windows 2000

0:29:46.480,0:29:50.080
it’s the uh the upgrade version it was

0:29:48.240,0:29:52.799
cheaper that’s why i bought it

0:29:50.080,0:29:54.080
you just needed to have windows 98 or

0:29:52.799,0:29:56.399
windows 95 i think

0:29:54.080,0:29:59.440
installed and then it detects it and

0:29:56.399,0:30:02.880
then it upgrades over

0:29:59.440,0:30:05.200
it’s a two-disc set all right

0:30:02.880,0:30:05.919
so that that so windows 2000 i’ll try to

0:30:05.200,0:30:08.640
install

0:30:05.919,0:30:10.159
now i thought i had my windows 95 bit it

0:30:08.640,0:30:14.000
may have bit the device by now

0:30:10.159,0:30:14.000
i know it had a separate little

0:30:14.240,0:30:18.960
cardboard case if you wanted to call it

0:30:16.640,0:30:21.679
it was similar to this

0:30:18.960,0:30:22.159
it looked this is windows 98 upgrade did

0:30:21.679,0:30:24.080
i show

0:30:22.159,0:30:27.440
that to you already how many people have

0:30:24.080,0:30:30.640
this with the product key

0:30:27.440,0:30:33.200
the windows 95 oh it was disks

0:30:30.640,0:30:34.159
that’s right i don’t think i i didn’t i

0:30:33.200,0:30:36.080
bought it

0:30:34.159,0:30:38.159
and it came i probably bought it at

0:30:36.080,0:30:40.880
micro at not micro center

0:30:38.159,0:30:43.840
comp usa probably something like that

0:30:40.880,0:30:47.200
and i think it came in a box actually

0:30:43.840,0:30:50.640
i i did obtain windows 95

0:30:47.200,0:30:52.559
cds people would you know recycle their

0:30:50.640,0:30:53.919
equipment and they’d be like oh well you

0:30:52.559,0:30:55.679
want these i’m like okay

0:30:53.919,0:30:57.039
but i’ve never actually purchased a

0:30:55.679,0:30:59.200
windows 95 cd

0:30:57.039,0:31:00.799
so i was wrong i must be confused with

0:30:59.200,0:31:02.960
the windows 98.

0:31:00.799,0:31:04.399
the buy they did come in the box and i

0:31:02.960,0:31:05.200
must have threw the box away that was

0:31:04.399,0:31:07.120
stupid

0:31:05.200,0:31:08.559
because i would have yeah i would go out

0:31:07.120,0:31:10.480
and get a usb

0:31:08.559,0:31:12.080
you could probably get a usb floppy

0:31:10.480,0:31:14.640
drive for

0:31:12.080,0:31:16.559
10 20 bucks brand new probably all right

0:31:14.640,0:31:18.000
so that’s my video so i’ve got a lot of

0:31:16.559,0:31:19.760
videos in the future that i can work

0:31:18.000,0:31:21.279
on but i don’t know what i’m going to

0:31:19.760,0:31:24.640
get to them

0:31:21.279,0:31:24.640
and so

0:31:24.880,0:31:29.919
microsoft you need to clean up your act

0:31:28.000,0:31:31.360
get it soap you don’t know what i’m

0:31:29.919,0:31:32.480
talking about because the video i

0:31:31.360,0:31:35.519
recorded before

0:31:32.480,0:31:36.159
i showed you how to install microsoft

0:31:35.519,0:31:39.519
visual

0:31:36.159,0:31:42.559
foxpro version 9 on a windows

0:31:39.519,0:31:44.399
server 2012 and in there

0:31:42.559,0:31:46.799
one of the components was soap which is

0:31:44.399,0:31:48.320
an acronym it’s a it’s it’s i think it’s

0:31:46.799,0:31:51.600
some kind of

0:31:48.320,0:31:54.159
programming like a is it like

0:31:51.600,0:31:55.679
this so it’s similar to xml or not even

0:31:54.159,0:31:56.640
it’s i think it’s more sophisticated

0:31:55.679,0:31:58.320
than that i don’t know

0:31:56.640,0:32:00.960
advanced programming whatever the fuck

0:31:58.320,0:32:02.640
it is so that’s the that inside joke

0:32:00.960,0:32:04.399
and then was that going to mention

0:32:02.640,0:32:06.960
something about that oh my

0:32:04.399,0:32:09.360
microsoft visual fox pro 9 has been

0:32:06.960,0:32:12.159
retired a long time ago

0:32:09.360,0:32:12.799
like i think 2004 or 2005 or some shit

0:32:12.159,0:32:15.279
like that

0:32:12.799,0:32:16.799
however as a computer technician if

0:32:15.279,0:32:19.760
you’re knowledgeable enough

0:32:16.799,0:32:21.360
you can actually just try it out and you

0:32:19.760,0:32:23.760
can help people install

0:32:21.360,0:32:25.039
yeah some people are similar to me

0:32:23.760,0:32:27.279
they’re

0:32:25.039,0:32:28.480
not capitalistic horrors per se they

0:32:27.279,0:32:30.880
value what they

0:32:28.480,0:32:32.080
spend their money on and so if they’ve

0:32:30.880,0:32:34.320
got an old version

0:32:32.080,0:32:35.279
of just whatever microsoft office or

0:32:34.320,0:32:37.039
whatever

0:32:35.279,0:32:39.039
they will try to get it working on a

0:32:37.039,0:32:42.480
newer operating system and

0:32:39.039,0:32:42.720
they might not know how but you can help

0:32:42.480,0:32:47.120
them

0:32:42.720,0:32:50.159
out oracle

0:32:47.120,0:32:54.039
virtual machine virtualbox install

0:32:50.159,0:32:56.960
on linux mx linux

0:32:54.039,0:33:01.519
19.1 which is a debian

0:32:56.960,0:33:04.559
derivation distribution you can also

0:33:01.519,0:33:06.240
click on the link in the description

0:33:04.559,0:33:07.600
blah blah blah blah blah blah i’m

0:33:06.240,0:33:09.120
already one again oh my god

0:33:07.600,0:33:11.679
normally i go for a walk see i’m playing

0:33:09.120,0:33:14.640
see what you made me do

0:33:11.679,0:33:16.559
you see what you motherfuckers do i try

0:33:14.640,0:33:18.960
to help you out and i go over time

0:33:16.559,0:33:19.840
double overtime normally i’m already

0:33:18.960,0:33:22.159
walking

0:33:19.840,0:33:23.039
this is the time of day that i go for a

0:33:22.159,0:33:25.679
walk

0:33:23.039,0:33:28.000
oh i love walking at least half an hour

0:33:25.679,0:33:30.559
get get that heart rate

0:33:28.000,0:33:31.440
come on get some exercise oh yeah you’ll

0:33:30.559,0:33:32.960
burn some calories

0:33:31.440,0:33:34.640
too if you walk fast enough it’s good

0:33:32.960,0:33:35.679
for you good for your heart get some

0:33:34.640,0:33:37.840
aerobic

0:33:35.679,0:33:39.840
and get out the sun too i kill multiple

0:33:37.840,0:33:40.640
birds with one stump with one you know

0:33:39.840,0:33:44.559
whatever

0:33:40.640,0:33:47.519
i go out and get the hormone vitamin d

0:33:44.559,0:33:48.080
known as you know the sun which is good

0:33:47.519,0:33:49.760
free

0:33:48.080,0:33:51.279
especially during this bullshit alleged

0:33:49.760,0:33:53.120
pandemic that i don’t really believe in

0:33:51.279,0:33:55.360
the official story but

0:33:53.120,0:33:56.960
oh yeah i better shut up before i really

0:33:55.360,0:33:58.559
get this video pulled and

0:33:56.960,0:34:00.480
i’ll just get tomorrow it’s just it

0:33:58.559,0:34:01.840
won’t even be midnight it’ll be six a.m

0:34:00.480,0:34:04.880
those motherfuckers at youtube let’s

0:34:01.840,0:34:04.880
just terminate my account

0:34:05.679,0:34:10.000
check out my blog post because i will

0:34:07.440,0:34:12.240
have in the abstract instructions for

0:34:10.000,0:34:13.599
you on how to install oracle virtualbox

0:34:12.240,0:34:15.839
it’s pretty easy but

0:34:13.599,0:34:18.720
some people learn better in the abstract

0:34:15.839,0:34:18.720
some people do not

0:34:18.839,0:34:21.839
adios

0:34:24.639,0:34:26.720
you
