Another computer support request on a third party website where I earn supplemental income answering computer and technology related questions. Here is the original question posted verbatim.
How do I login to my Zyxel router.
This individual owned a Zyxel EMG2926_Q10A router. The default username is “supervisor” or “admin” without quotations. The default password is “supervisor” or “1234” without quotations.
My gold tip for this question, is that you should probably change your router password from the default. Many Internet routers, you cannot change the default username. However, most if not all I have dealt with, you can change the password.
It can be a security risk not to change the default password. I was able to quickly find the default username and password for this Zyxel EMG2926_Q10A router. If I was able to obtain this default login information, then anyone could have access to it.
Finally, in order to get to the login page, you would type in 192.168.1.1 into a web browser. First you want to connect your computer, laptop, tablet, etc. into the router with an Ethernet cable or via wireless connection. Once that device obtains an IP address then you should be able to login.
Your device must be on the same sub network. If the router IP address is 192.168.1.1 then your device IP address must be 192.168.1.X. The X is any number up to 255.
