Microsoft Corporation claims that it has released security patche software updates for breaches released by Shadow Brokers. Microsoft claims that nine of twelve exploits had already been patched with a software update. It was up to Microsoft operating system users to ensure these software update patches were installed.
One of these exploits was patched before Microsoft Windows Vista operating system had ever been released for public consumption.

The last three exploits are only a problem if you are using versions of Microsoft Windows operating system before Windows Microsoft Windows 7 operating system. Also, versions of Microsoft Exchange email server before Microsoft Exchange 2010 are at risk. Versions of Microsoft Exchange email server 2010 or later are safe from these exploits.
