iTunes Print – Are You Unable to Print Out of Apple iTunes?

Sometimes for strange reasons, you may be unable to print out of Apple iTunes. All of the sudden you are unable to print your playlists or other iTunes information. This requires a complete removal of Apple iTunes, Apple QuickTime, and other Apple components.

The following instructions give you a tutorial on the complete removal process for Microsoft Windows XP. Once all necessary software is removed then proceed with the installation of all appropriate Apple software so that you may print from within iTunes once again. You must remove Apple iTunes and other pieces of software, in the order stipulated below.

Remove Apple iTunes

iTunes Store purchases or songs imported from CD-ROM(s) are saved in your “My Music” folder by default and are not deleted by removing Apple iTunes. Quit Apple iTunes if that application is open. From the Microsoft Windows “Start” menu select “Control Panel”.

In Control Panel open “Add or Remove Programs”. Choose Apple iTunes from that list of installed programs, then click “Remove”. Select “Yes” when asked to remove that software.

Do NOT restart your computer if you are prompted to. Remove any other Apple iTunes software in “Add or Remove Programs”. Remove any Apple iPod updater applications.

Remove Apple QuickTime

Quit Apple QuickTime player if that application is open. Click the Microsoft Windows “Start” menu then choose “Control Panel”. In Control Panel select “Add or Remove Programs”.

Choose Apple QuickTime from the list of programs, then click on “Uninstall”. Select “Yes” to uninstall Apple QuickTime. Do NOT restart your computer if prompted.

Remove any other Apple QuickTime software applications. Remove Apple Software Update. Quit Apple Software Update if that application is still open.

Click the Microsoft Windows “Start” menu then choose “Control Panel”. In Control Panel select “Add or Remove Programs”. Click on “Apple Software Update” from installed programs then click on “Uninstall”.

Select “Yes” to uninstall Apple Software Update. Do NOT restart your computer if you are prompted to. Remove any other Apple Software Update applications.

Remove Apple Mobile Device Support

Click on the Microsoft Windows “Start” menu and then choose “Control Panel”. In Control Panel select “Add or Remove Programs”. Choose Apple Mobile Device Services from the installed programs then click on “Uninstall”.

Select “Yes” to remove Apple Mobile Device Support. Do NOT restart your computer if prompted to do so. Do NOT manually delete the Mobile Device Support C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple folder.

Remove that folder with “Add or Remove Programs” as described above instead. Remove Apple Application Support With iTunes 9 or newer. Click the Microsoft Windows “Start” menu then choose “Control Panel”.

In Control Panel select “Add or Remove Programs”. Choose Apple Application Support from the installed programs then click on “Uninstall”. Select “Yes” to remove Apple Application Support for iTunes 9 or newer.

Do NOT restart your computer if prompted to do so. Verify that Apple iTunes and any related components are now completely removed. These instructions were written for Microsoft Windows XP operating system, but can certainly be used as a basis point for other Microsoft operating systems.
