Open source recording software developer Audacity has released version number 2.2.1. This Audacity software 2.2.1 version includes some bug fixes, one new feature, and one change.
Waveform colorways is a new feature that allows you to configure how colorways are displayed. You have four different colorways to choose from. You browse to that tracks control panel and then select colorways from a drop down menu.
In version 2.2 of Audacity software they added a menu under “File” called “Save Other”. This has now been changed to an “Export” menu under “File”. The following bug issues have been resolved:

* importing audio with “File” then “Open” causes incorrect zoom level without scroll bar
You can upgrade Audacity open source recording software by either downloading the most current version from a static hyper text tranfser protocol web uniform resource locator link or by checking for updates. To check for updates in Audacity software, click on “Help” in the top menu and choose “Check for Updates”. You will be taken to a web page that will notify you if your Audacity software is outdated and that a new version is available.
You will be able to download the newest version of Audacity software for Microsoft Windows operating system, Apple Macintosh operating system, and Linux operating systems. Currently, Audacity supports Microsoft Windows XP operating system, Microsoft Windows Vista operating system, Microsoft Windows 7 operating system, Microsoft Windows 8 operating system, Microsoft Windows 10 operating system, Apple Macintosh operating system 10.6 Snow Leopard or later, and a source code version for Linux operating systems.
