Do you own an American Telephone and Telegraph Calypso 2 smartphone? If you do, did you know that this smartphone may not come with a micro-smart digital card? I purchased one of these American Telephone and Telegraph Calypso 2 smartphones for only $40 at a Dollar General.
However, this AT&T Calypso 2 smartphone did not include a micro-digital card. You can actually install a micro-smart digital card yourself. You will need to already possess or purchase one of these micro-digital cards.
Also, according to the American Telephone and Telegraphs specifications page for this smartphone, you can install a 128 Gigabytes or less micro-smart digital card. You then will want to remove the satin silver back cover. Then you will want to separate the satin silver back cover from the base unit, including glass.
You can use a guitar pick, smartphone pick, fingernail, etc. However, you may not want to use any type of metal object, so that you do not accidentally scratch the glass. Once you separate the satin silver back cover from the device, then you can access the micro-smart digital card slot.
Amazingly, this smartphone did not include a slot on the side of the back cover to access the micro-smart digital card. Also, there is no ejection mechanism. The satin silver back cover does not require any screws.
The actual micro-smart digital card slot is actually labeled with MicroSD or something similar. All you do is slide your micro-digital card into the slot gently. You can make certain that you place the micro-smart digital card facing the correct way.
You should not need to use much force to insert it. If it seems to require too much force, you may have that micro-smart digital card upside down. Once you are able to install this micro-smart digital card into your American Telephone and Telegraph Calypso 2 smart phone, you can replace the satin silver back cover.
Basically, the satin silver back cover, snaps back on. You will hear some snapping noises, which is normal. You can press on all sides and corners to make sure the satin silver back cover is tight.
Now you can power back on your AT&T Calypso 2 smartphone. To verify whether or not this micro-smart digital card is installed correctly, you can open up the “Files” tool on the Google Android operating system. The AT&T Calypso 2 smartphone I purchased included Google Android 11 Go edition operating system.
Once in the Google Android “Files” application, you can look under “Storage Devices” for your micro-smart digital card you just installed. You may or may not need to format it first in order to store data on it. Also, the size of your micro-smart digital card may be disclosed.
As long as your micro-smart digital card is detected and writeable, you can begin storing data on it. Also, you can actually install your micro-smart digital card into any computer or device that has a micro-smart digital card reader slot. It will depend on the operating system whether or not you can access the data off of your micro-smart digital card.
For example, most Linux operating systems I have used are able to mount micro-smart digital cards. If your computer or device has a larger smart digital technology slot, you can obtain an adapter where by you install the micro-smart digital card into the adapter.
Then you slide the adapter into the smart digital slot. You may need to obtain drivers and or software for your operating system to detect and access the data from a micro-smart digital card. Another way to access the data on your micro-smart digital card is to leave it installed in that very same slot, you just installed it into.
Then enable universal serial bus developer mode in the “Settings” section of Google Android operating system. Now browse to “USB Preferences”. Choose “File Transfer”.
Finally, connect your American Telephone and Telegraph Calypso 2 smartphone to either a universal serial bus A or C port on your computer. It will depend on what operating system you are using and whether or not your smartphone will be detected.
For example, most Linux operating systems I have used successfully detected Google Android smartphones. I was then able to access the internal and micro-smart digital card data. You may need to install additional drivers and or software onto your computer's operating system.
